l'hotel era perfetto: vicino a 2 fermate della metro e alla stazione degli autobus. In una zona tranquilla ma a due passi dalla zona dei ristiranti, supermercati e negozi. Per visitare il centro è assolutamente perfetto. La pulizia della camera era ok e anche lo staff cordiale. unica nota negativa: non hanno un deposito bagagli al momento del check out.

Appartamento da sogno, come stare a casa. Dopo una giornata in giro è proprio un piacere ritornare nell'appartamento per un sano ristoro. Eravamo in 4, due stanze e due bagni, cucina e salone...La fermata della metro Barbican è a 2 min a piedi. Zona tranquilla. Ci ritorneremo di sicuro.

buon Hotel, comodo x la metro vicina, piccolo maeket e farmacia. il bagno pulito ma privo del sapone liquido, cuffia-doccia , e ciabatte di spugna . i canali della tv in tutte le lingue eccetto l'italiano. i servio di internet a pagamento.

Il quartiere residenziale ed esclusivo di Kensington è rinomato soprattutto per i suoi palazzi e i giardini, ma anche per i grandi musei della parte sud: il Natural History Museum, lo Science Museum e il V&A. un hotel sito in una zona di Londra comoda e tranquilla.L'hotel ha stanze grandi , pulite. Considerando che avevamo preso un'offerta, direi che il nostro soggiorno all'hotel Tara è da considerarsi positivo. Ottimamente posizionato, vicinissimo alla fermata della metro di High Street Kensington, appare dal vivo un hotel più elegante di quanto sembrerebbe dalle foto. Il quartiere in cui si trova è molto piacevole perchè è chic e movimentato di giorno, ma non pericoloso in piena notte. Il mercato di Portobello dista solo una fermata ed anche Hyde Park è vicinissimo. […] Per tutto il resto c'è la metro, ovviamente. I quartieri della movida notturna, invece, sono raggiungibili con la metro fino a mezzanotte e con gli autobus dopo. In hotel abbiamo passato pochissimo tempo ma era pulito e ben organizzato e alla reception c'è anche chi parla italiano. P.S. Il bagno della camera merita qualche punto in meno ma questo problema a Londra si risolve solo spendendo veramente molto....ed anche in quel caso non è detto che ci sia il bidet!!!! "Comodo, Centrale ed Economico (per Londra :-)"
L'albergo si trova a High Kentington , proprio al confine con la famosa Notting Hill. Esteticamente è un "casermone" ma i servizi sono buoi e le camere pulite e comode. Il personale molto educato e preparato. La cosa piu eccezionale a 100 mt dalla stazione della metropolitana di High Kenstington. Consigliato!

Hotel con stanze grandi rispetto allo standard inglese. Ben tenuto e pulito. Zona bella e tranquilla, solo un pò lontanta dalle principali attrazioni quindi si perde molto tempo negli spostamenti (considerando poi che durante il weekend la linea gialla della metro è chiusa per lavori...). Hotel di grandi dimensioni con pregi e difetti legati ad una struttura così fatta. Accoglienza standardizzata, ottima localizzazione sia per lavoro sia per vacanza. Colazione non inclusa nel prezzo perché costosa. Prezzo online non rimborsabile ma interessante e, tutto sommato, economico per Londra. Da consigliare.

Premesso che son abituato a dormire in ostelli e campeggi ho prenotato in questo albergo perchè dovendo andare ad un matrimonio avevo bisogno di qualche servizio in più. La posizione è molto comoda, in zona Kensington a tre minuti a piedi dalla metro. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Camere spaziose e tutto molto pulito.

L'albergo è molto grande, la gestione presumo asiatica. Il personale è stato molto gentile e al check-in c'era un ragazzo italiano. Comodo il servizio bagagli per il giorno della partenza. La camera non era niente di eccezionale, non sicuramente da 4 stelle: l'odore dei prodotti di pulizia e delle lenzuola era persistente e fastidiosamente "chimico", […] il bagno vecchio e con senza miscelatore, gli arredi vecchi e con bisogno di manutenzione. L'hotel in generale per pulizia, servizi,camere ecc. va bene, molto comodo e posizionato accanto a punti strategici ricchi di mezzi di trasporto. NON va assolutamente bene: il profumo stucchevole nelle camere,la tenda vasca bagno (un vetro aiuterebbe), il lavandino senza miscelatore è un peso...

"Excellent location with acceptable price"
Though furniture and bathrooms are bit old, location is excellent. Easy to get to underground and buses to most sightseeing places. Resturants in hotels are cheap and have Chinese style menu.

Great value, good location. Very close to kensington high street tube stop. Hotel was nearly full but was sitll quiet and ran smoothly. Quiet neighborhood. Don't miss The Muffin Man for breakfast. Not fancy, but clean and convenient.

This hotel has a fabulous location. Couldnt be better for shopping, convenience to the tube and good bus routes. The accomodation itself would benefit from upgrading. While our room was clean, it didnt feel like a 4 star hotel which is a pity given the fab location. I would certainly recommend it on the basis of location but dont expect luxury.

We had a wonderful time - the staff was very accommodating and extremely friendly. We were in the center of where we needed and wanted to be and truly enjoyed ourselves!

Good location with a great Thai restaurant just around the corner - Thai Terrace! Good value but would have preferred a bigger double bed! Can't quite cope with a 4ft these days - apart from that would recommend and will go again!
"Tara Copthorne"
I had expected a tiny room. I was pleasantly surprised. Room was a nice size and lots of bureau of closest space. I would stay here again. The location was perfect for walking, and for public transportation.
Very clean, comfortable and up-to-date hotel with good bed, tv, chairs, bathroom etc. A modern hotel that could be anywhere in the world, but only two blocks from High St.-Kensington tube station and four or five blocks from Hyde park. A good value for London.

Arrived late after a long day walking round london and were met by curtious helpful staff who changed our room from a twin to a double without issue. Quick pit stop and then had a meal in resteraunt followed by an hour in the bar winding down. The food we had was really good, all the staff were very helpfull but not intrusive. Good location have stayed in the hotel many times however it has now got a bit old and needs a good face lift corridor carpets etc bathrooms
"Tara - almost perfect"
Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My flight times meant I needed early access to the room on arrival and a late check out on departure, both of which were granted with no fuss and good grace. In fact, all my experiences with the staff were excellent. Only slight quibble was maintenance of the room itself; tired around the edges and […] in need of some basic repairs/replacements and a refurb. "Ok on the whole"
For the price I paid for a central London hotel I would've expected better. Was also upset that I'd rang in early especially to ask the hotel for an adapted room as I am on crutches and find it difficult to walk far. They gave me an adapted room which unfortunately was the one furthest away from the lift and so I still had to walk down a fairly long […] corridor. I'm sure anyone newly on crutches will appreciate how difficult this is. Despite the room being partially modified there were some things that were not thought out, for example the lack of space around the bed and no plug sockets that were at an appropriate height. To charge my phone I had to scramble down to a plug socket just off the floor (not easy I assure you). I did later discover a higher switch which had been hidden by the kettle. Finally, it annoys me greatly when any hotel in this day and age does not provide free wifi when it clearly would not cost the hotel anymore. As can be seen from my ratings above, the hotel was generally fine, fine not great and is a little dated in its decoration. As for the positives, it's a convenient location, there are a choice of places to eat, as with any chain there's a certain standard of cleanliness and other than my problem with the location of the room, the majority of the staff were very friendly, something thats a bonus in a London hotel Continua a leggere

The hotel was in a good location just 5mins walk from high street kensington, so convenient for all of central london by tube or taxi. The staff were helpful but we did have problems during our stay. The door key card would stop working every day and it was annoying after reaching your room to find the card doesn't work. After a couple of days we got […] used to it and just had the cards checked at reception before heading to our room. The cleaning staff also cut lot of corners. On 2 occasions we found our rooms had not been cleaned properly, bathrooms were left untidy .. Only the beds were made up. Linen was not changed even if visibly found that it needed changing. For the right price, it is a decent hotel. I would not pay full price for it, though. If you plan on taking the tube to get around, it is not well located. If you plan to walk, it is a nice neighborhood and close to Hyde Park. There were plenty of taxis waiting nearby.

good hotel 2 minutes walk from tube and numerous bus routes.Fantastic area for testurants and shops.Lovely cafe beside it Muffin Man for breakfast .Hotel staff were very helpful.Only complaint was double bed was very small and not vert comfortable.Would stay again

Great location, ideal for access to all parts of central London. Great deal on the price for a three night stay - would have been less satisfied if had been required to pay full rate - hotel is looking a little tired and dated, rooms seem to be in need of refurbishment
