"Stay away!"
One of the biggest factors for me deciding to stay here was they advertised jetted tubs and since I have low back problems, I thought this was perfect. I got in late Fri. night and went straight to bed. The next day I found my tub was not jetted. I went to the owner, Anil, and he informed me that they do not have that feature in any of the rooms. He […] refused to offer any solution or compensation. I also informed him my room was dirty and had a leak under the sink which made the carpet wet. "Breakfast"
The room was clean and nice. No problems with that. The staff was not the friendliest. We were told that the complementary breakfast was open until 9:30 am. We arrived at 8:30 am and it was wiped out except for cereal. No attempt was made to restock and we went to the Waffle House. "the clerk behind the desk"
When I came into the lobby to check in on 12/24, I was told that I had booked a smoking room. I showed the reservation I had to a man whose last name is Patel and he said that we had a smoking room. We went round and round and my husband finally had to step into the conversation and explain to the man that no matter what, I am the customer and that […] I am right. The main thing he kept referring to was the reservation on his computer monitor. At one point he tried to pick up the monitor and turn it around to show me what he had. I showed him the paper with the reservation and he continued to argue. He finally calmed down with my husband. I also had booked another room for my son through the hotel, not Hotels.com, and that room was extremely hot. My son asked to have the heat adjusted and he was told that nothing could be done. I know there were extra rooms because a member of housekeeping told me there were other rooms available. We have stayed at this motel numerous times over the past 5 years, never had a complaint before. We will probably not stay there again in the future. "Motel in Clinton TN"
Conveniently located along I-75, the RRI was a value to us on our way down to Florida. The room was comfortable but had a couple of drawbacks. It had a couple of minor plumbing issues. The toilet didn't flush well and the drain on the tub didn't seal and had to be physically removed to shower. The TV was an old tube type and quite small. The cable reception […] was not good. We were very disappointed with the standard of the hotel. When we arrived there was no toilet paper, the door wouldn't lock, the small frig door would only open a few inches because it was unlevel rubbed against the carpet and the bathroom florescent light would only flicker-not come on entirely. We spent four nights here, only because we prepaid and […] on the first day, after our first night, no one serviced the room - beds weren't made, dirty towels were still in the bathroom and no fresh ones brought. "Moist"
Now I know why I stay at Holiday Inn Express. This property was old 20 years ago. The room was stifling hot when we went in, so humid and musty the carpet was damp, the fixtures old but functional. I used to think Red Roof was decent albeit cheap. Now I wouldn't stay at another one unless I was desperate, which I was in this case. I rank them with Motel […] 6 and Budget Inn. The only plus was the comfortable bed. Not recommended. The staff were incompetent and the facility run down.
