Accra Beach Hotel And Resort Christ Church

We decide to stay at this hotel because we love the beach which it is located on. I'm a native to the island so I come home often. My wife and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary at Accra. The hotel staff was great! They took care of all of our request without hesitation. The room was an ocean view, request ocean view if you don't want a view of cheffette […] and the street. Compared with other Barbados accomodation this if fairly average. Getting a little tired condition wise it could use some paint and more maintenance. From a convencience standpoint you can't beat this, great pool, right on one of the best beaches on the island and lots of shops and restaurants in close proximity. For a hotel charging at the high end for an ocean view room it is frankly totally unacceptable that, despite several requests, it proved impossible throughout a 6 night stay for there to be hot water provided. This rendered the jacuzzi on the private balcony somewhat pointless. The non-availability of wifi in the room (promised for December 2011) also […] proved disappointing. The weekly BBQ was the worst meal I have ever had in any hotel worldwide over many years and the accompanying "entertainment" was embarrassingly poor and amateurish. The cost for what was offered (pre-cooked meats heated up on the BBQ and hence dry beyond belief) was frankly outrageous. Whilst some staff, particularly in the restaurants, were exceptionally pleasant and helpful the pool bar staff were mainly sour, unhelpful and, in two cases downright rude. All in all it was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we have experienced anywhere in the world. The hotel has a management team which needs to go back to basics to relearn the art of treating its guests as people deserving of respect, consideration and decent service from all concerned. We were directed to the Acrra Beach Hotel & Spa by our cruise company, Wind Star. We arrived very late and were initially unhappy that they had only one person taking reservations. The young man was very pleasant. Explained that normally all the airlines would have landed by that time so they wouldn't have anyone extra on the front desk. He was polite […] and professional and after a little bit of waiting we got to our room. I don't know if we got upgraded but I do know the room was fabulous. I am thinking they put us in a suite because a) we were only there for one night and b) no one else was going to be checking in. It was a huge room with views of the beach, a separate bathroom with sunken jacuzzi bath. Absolutely beautiful and clean. We did not eat at the hotel preferring to take a walk to find breakfast. We did not realize that most places don't open at all, or with limited hours, on Sunday. On returning to the hotel the bell captain recommenced Brown Sugar which would open and noon and which served authentic Bajan food. We opted for that. It was a great recommendation and a wonderful meal. By the time we finished our lunch it was time to board the ship. The bell captain got a big tip for his recommendation and we were off to the ship. stay away from the pool bar and you will find very little not to love here

We reserved this hotel in January for a May vacation. The hotel imposed a 2 week cancellation charge. We turned up to the hotel after a red eye to be informed they cancelled our reservation. When we asked why they would not tell us. All we could assume is they got a higher rate or some big party came in and demanded more rooms. Passamos e noites lá e tudo foi muito bom. Excelente custo benefício. Os funcionários são extremamente atenciosos, inclusive no serviço na praia. Bem em frente ao hotel, há um comércio local e próximo também há um excelente restaurante, o Chmpers, que também recomendo. Barbados é muito bonito.

Bra läge på beachen, trista omgivningar. Observera att priset som Hotels com anger INTE inkluderar moms på ca 17%.
