Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 23 feb 2013Hotel perfetto per soggiorni lunghi in quanto ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La mia camera aveva un letto matrimoniale ed un letto supplementare per mia figlia uno schermo lcd ed un bagno con vasca e bidet. Se si vuole modificare la temperatura interna della camera bisogna lasciare un deposito di 10 sterline per avere un telecomando. La colazione per noi italiani è perfetta in quanto ci sono cornetti, pan raisin (cornetti all'uvetta grandi e piccoli) saccottini al cioccolato, panini,nutella (proprio nutella) marmellate,yougurt e pane da tostare. Se cercate la colazione inglese dovete pagare un supplemento perchè di salato è presente solo il prosciutto cotto. L'hotel si trova in zona 3 ed è a 15 minuti a piedi dalla metro (ma c'è il bus 48 che passa ogni 10 minuti e vi lascia sotto l'hotel). In 30 minuti si è in pieno centro. Se dovete passare pochi giorni a Londra forse non è l'ideale ma per chi deve passare una settimana come abbiamo fatto noi è consigliabile

Per quanto riguarda la stanza c'erano armadi piccolissimi ci si deve adattare.Buona colazione e molti giovani, dunque alla sera c'era parecchio movimento.

I have stayed at Harpenden House Hotel on several occasions recently. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and I think they know me personally. It is not particularly cheap, but the hotel does not really have much competition in Harpenden. The location is good, as it is close to the main high street and also the train station. "Disappointing room for the money"
Overpriced for the quality of the room which had damage to walls and hole in bathroom ceiling. Over zealous guy on reception - spoke too fast with too much information at once while I was trying to sign in - no need it wasn't busy. Room was a far walk in annex up hill, unsuitable for infirm or elderly. Would stay more often(weekly/fortnightly tues/weds […] on business) but no midweek discount given and prices too high, therefore Premier Inn wins every time, even on room standard. Lower your prices and get more business - just because it's Harpenden doesn't mean you charge 4 star London prices for inferior accommodation. Great hotel with good service. Sadly we were only there for one night and didn't get to really appreciate the calmness of the building. Excellent breakfast but thought it odd that we would have to pay a £3.50 premium for breakfast if not ordered in advance. The meal we had was divine, really impressive. The dining room was a little empty which is never a good sign, however my doubts were sent by the three fantastic courses that graced my plate. The rooms were very nice for what you pay for, even if there were a few cobwebs by the curtains. The only bad bit was the pillows were awful and you didn't get […] enough UHT milk for more than one cup each. Other than those rather minor problems it was lovely. Upon arrival I was put in the absolute furthest room in the hotel which involved climbing many stairs with no offer of assistance with my luggage. The room then turned out to be right next to a suburban train track which rattled the room every five minutes. After request, I was however immediately moved to another room. The rooms are nice and clean […] although a bit dark. The breakfast is terrible and overpriced. The bar and lounge area had nice service however. Surrounding town is lovely!
