"Smelled funny"
I stayed at this hotel a year ago and was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness. This time it wasn't that the room looked dirty but there was a definite odor that reminded me of a dead animal. "Good except for hard bed."

"HOT HOT ROOM!!!!"

"Passable for a budget stay."
The beds were very hard and the pillows were flat and stiff. Continental breakfast was fine. Coffee was just OK. Very close to Ames and served us well from a location standpoint. For the price, it was worth it. Not sure I will choose it again though.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"close to Ames at resonable price"
Very clean. The beds were very firm, well at little hard, but I was too tired to care. Nice quiet location but a bit of a drive from Ames. For one night stay it was worth the value. The lady at the front desk was not the nicest person. The room was clean enough but the pillows are lumpy and flat so bring your own. The hallway in the non smoking section smelled like smoke but the room didn't smell. The hotel is not close to anything but it was right off the highway so easy to commute into Ames.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

This was one of the lowest rates I have ever paid, so to be honest, I was nervous about what I would find. We had stayed here in the past but this was our first time back in about four years. It was graduation weekend at ISU and the price was better for us staying out away from Ames. "It was a safe and clean place to stay."
I felt the hotel was safe and clean. Overall it was a nice place to stay. My only complaint was that they wanted the room available to clean 30 minutes before check out time. You get what you pay for, the beds were very hard and pillows very flat. This hotel is only good if you are wanting to stop for the night. The hotel is older and does not have a good breakfast.
