PRO: molto più che un 3 stelle, anzi: tutto ciò che ci si aspetta da un 4 stelle, a parte l'arredamento delle camere, che è da tre stelle; la dimensione delle camere invece è pure da 4 stelle! Ed è proprio SUL mare. Ma ha anche una grande piscina all'aperto per adulti, una per i bambini, e anche un'altra piscina al chiuso! CONTRO: nei bagni manca il bidè.

"Very good value for money"
Welcoming and helpful staff. Fixtures and amenities up to standard. Rich and quality breakfast. Rooms could have been more spacious. Pleasant surroundings. Would definitely recommend.

A stay of one night is really not suffient on which to base a meaningful review. The totel is spotlessly clean, the staff charming and helpful. The hotel is a little dated and that perhaps is its charm. This, I regret to say, does not apply to the shower. One has to clamber over the edge of the bath and operate a number ot knobs and levers in order […] to get the water to flow where one wants. "Annabelle - not what it was"
Originally my expectations were high as I'd booked on reading that the Annabelle was one of the very best in Paphos. I then found out (though not through this site or the hotel - and only after booking) that the hotel was due to close for renovations in week or so after our visit, so I was already prepped to find the hotel to be in a shabby state. […] It was - and some. However, it was clean, even though the paper was peeling off the walls. What i didn't expect was for most of the facilities to be closed (restaurants, gym, tennic courts, spa etc), so at the time I'd say the hotel barely scraped by as a 3* on facilities, rather than 5*. A few days in, all the sun loungers disappeared overnight (presumably into storage) leaving a weirdly empty plaza. Without notice, one morning the water was turned off til about 10 - was halfway through showering at the time. Also, for reasons that never became clear, the maid would burst into the room unannounced (you'd think to turn-down, but oddly sometimes actually ignored the bed?) at all times of day and evening, even if the do not disturb sign was up. Worst was that the fan in the bathroom and the aircon was so loud sleep was impossible even with earplugs and could not be turned off. We were told this problem was endemic to every room - eventually the hotel handyman disconnected if for us. Noise from the road was also pretty intolerable. Credit where it's due - staff we friendly and courteous ... when you could find them. Usually the hotel was empty as the Overlook Hotel in the Shining. However, they still had the cheek to charge us for a late checkout, even though the hotel was 95% empty. Neighbourhood - beware if you don't know Paphos that even though its the least commercialised resort town on the island, its still horribly tacky. Its on the main resort strip, surrounded by soulless bars and bad restaurants and you'll find the pavements copiously decorated in vomit come Saturday morning. "Het Annabelle hotel uitstekende service en locatie"
Het Annabelle hotel ligt uitstekend gesitueerd aan zee op loopafstand van het centrum van Pafos. Zowel restaurants als opgravingen binnen loopbereik. Het hotel beschikt over uitstekende service en heeft fantastische zwemmogelijkheden. Het beschikt over prachtige uitzichten over zee en prachtige tuin met zwembad en waterval. Bij aankomst waren er enkele […] mankementen in onze hotelkamer, maar die werden in no-time opgelost. Het hotel kan een update gebruiken. Ondanks het feit dat er vooral ouderen waren hebben wij het er als familie met een 11 jarige zoon uitstekend naar onze zin gehad. Continua a leggere
