Good value for the money if you're a business traveler looking for a hotel near the airport. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Showing signs of wear - hole in my carpet, for example. "Very Disappointing"
We were very disappointed in this hotel. We expected more after reading the reviews but things can change rapidly. Our room smelled strongly of some type of cooking odor. It lasted the entire time we were there. The floor felt sticky and many things looked dingy and unclean. There were no linens for the pullout couch despite the fact that we had registered […] for four people. There were crumbs in the tv area and little bugs flew out of the drain when I turned the water on. The carpet had a large dark satin on it. The maid did not show and we found out later that we were supposed to leave a card in the lock to keep it open(we assume) if we wanted service! "Good space, reasonable rates but could use updates"
I checked into the hotel late. Immediately, I noticed the place smelled like BO. Not a welcome encounter. Staff were friendly and accomodating--and despite the smell in the reception area and the first floor hallway--I liked my room and was comfortable there. The rooms are decent suites with a good amount of space. The place was clean and though not […] new--it was reasonably nice. I'd stay here again, knowing it's short comings and that it was cheaper than other places close by. Location was important for me and an ability to check out a little bit late was much appreciated. We booked here as we were attending the Steelers Fan Blitz the next day. It was close to Heinz Field and to Robinson Mall. The room was clean, kitchen was clean and had all the amenities needed to eat in. The sofa bed was in great shape. We needed it for sleeping one of the children. Every time we fly out of Pittsburgh, we stay at this hotel for a number of reasons -- price is right, free parking, free shuttle to & from airport and free breakfast.
