ragazzi se siete ancora in tempo EVITATE questo hotel!!!!! l'unica nota positiva e' la posizione,per il resto e' scandaloso.In camera praticamante non funziona niente:niente linea telefonica,luce simile a quella di un cerino,rubinetto del bagno rumoroso e malfunzionante,l'aria condizionata quando parte ricorda la partenza di un aereo ed inoltre alla […] reception sono lentissimi.L'unica persona gentile all'interno della struttura e' il gestore del ristorante italiano all'interno dell'hotel che ci ha confermato la caduta a pezzi di quello che una volta era un bell'hotel.Se avete voglia di mangiare italiano-toscano andate pure al ristorante situato all'interno dell'hotel astor,ma per dormire penso sia piu'comoda la spiaggia........ Hotel in una buona posizione, 8 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia, da ocean Drive e dalla "vita". Di fronte c'è un super market. Dall'aeroporto MIA all'hotel ci sono 10 minuti di taxi. Al check in hanno chiesto come la maggior parte una carta di credito a garanzia per extra ecc, io non ho voluto e hanno accettato contanti ovviamente restituiti senza problemi […] alla partenza. La rete wi-fi funziona un pò a singhiozzo ma è più che accettabile, eventualmente in reception c'è un pc a disposizione gratuitamente. La camera era discreta, nulla di speciale però abbastanza pulita e con il letto bello comodo. Il personale è cordiale. La camera è piuttosto silenziosa. L'abergo si trova in ottima posizione. Il personale è gentile e ospitale e le camere sono molto grandi e pulite. Non c'è il frigo bar e la colazione non è prevista ma a pochi metri dall'hotel ci sono diversi bar/caffetterie. La wi-fi è libera e gratuita.

Albergo curato nei dettagli, personale cortese e disponibile. La stanza era grande e pulita. In posizione non tanto tranqulilla perchè vicono alla strada ma con un parcheggio proprio di fronte all'hotel.

Ottima collocazione, camere ampie e pulite benchè si noti la presenza di un livello di manutenzione non proprio maniacale, infatti nel bagno la rubinetteria è risultata in parte difettosa e alcune rifiniture sicuramente migliorabili. Manca il servizio di facchinaggio, forse disponibile solo a richiesta, e vi è una certa confusione nei sevizi compresi […] nei fees da pagare al momento del soggiorno in quanto tale strutura ha variato nel tempo tali servizi. Nel nostro caso avendo la colazione inclusa nel prezzo abbiamo dovuto risolvere il problema anticipando il pagaamento della colazione, continentale, e facendolo poi stornare quanto pagato dai fees giornalieri dovuti in loco. Hotel prevalententemente occupato da giovani e abbastanza rumoroso in quanto suonano musica fino a sera tardi ma assolutamente soddisfacente in rapporto al prezzo. Very cute hotel right in the center of south beach. Walking distance to beach and Lincoln rd. The hotel staff was very helpful-however they were actually employees of the chelse hotel next door, their sister hotel which I actually wih I would have stayed at. It was the same price but had a very nice patio with good music playing and a bar with hookahs […] and food available and it looked a lil more modern. But back to the Astor.. The hotel staff informed me they had some issues with staff at that location so the chelse employees were running it for now.the room I originally got looked at the back of a building - which I requested a switch to a room with a better view and they switched me with no problem and were very courteous in doing so. - my room was cute with a king bed hardwood floor a tiny flat screen, windows that opened and a completely remodeled bathroom. However if you plan on taking a hot shower let me warn you that will not be an option lol. I showered with only the hot water in full blast and it only got luck warm. They provide beach towels, bag check ins & airport shuttles.. I believe the chelse next door actually provides beach chairs though. - if your looking for a quiet cute affordable & clean get away destination this is a great option, I would recommend it and would have no problem staying again!! They do not have hotel parking. Either use the Valet from the next door hotel that cost $32 a night or use the public lot across the street and have to pay a meter. The front door guy didn't show any signs of concern on what I was saying. His response was, "what you want me to do". So needless to say because of the holiday and the non-vacancy we stayed. […] But we stayed across the street as it was cheaper to pay the meter. I stayed at this hotel with a friend in March 2013. We wanted to stay near the beach and be close to most of the action in South Beach, and this hotel does deliver on that front. I also cannot complain about the room which was spacious with new wooden flooring (although very loud in hallways, it is comfortable and clean). HOWEVER, I would never ever […] ever return to this hotel because of the terrible service. If I pay over 250 a night, I expect amazing service, which was not the case here! Our phone in room clould not call downstairs and instead of apologizing when I had to go down in my pjs, the man at the front desk said "but I've been here the entire time...". Most of the staff speaks poor English. Their shuttle service to the airport MAY forget you, unless you remind the front desk person 20 times that you are leaving at a specific time, but don't hesitate to stay outside and see the shuttle arrive yourself. The employees do not speak among themselves and are poorly organized. Bad attitude from the staff in general. They also photocopy your ID and credit card information (and apparently keep it for up to a year??), which most hotels do not have to do. I was not pleased about that, especially when you get the impression that it's already a sketchy place, admin-wise. Small boutique hotel. My son and his family and my wife and I each rented rooms for one night. The biggest problem, there was no hot water in either of our rooms for showers. In addition, my son had to change rooms because there was hair in the beds. When we left, they did offer us free breakfast as a result of our difficulties but we didn't have the […] time. The room was large, the living room a little sparsely furnished and could have used a little more artwork. The only truly irritating issute was the Resort Fee of $15/day at check-in. Even it the pool was open, which it wasn't, the word resort should never come into play at this hotel.

I arrived at Hotel Astor for a one-night stay prior to leaving for a cruise. The hotel entrance was hidden behind a bunch of bushes which made if difficult to locate. Upon entry, the gentleman at the front desk was extremely courteous & helpful. When I arrived at the room, I immediately wanted to return to the desk for a refund. Great location. Hotel is OK overall. Very quiet despite central location. Bedding is good quality. Staff was confused around several issues, from internet password to shuttle schedule, depending who you talked to, you got different answers. The bathroom could use some renovs.

They need to put carpet in the hallways to cut down on noise. Hardwood floors make for a noisy experience in a market where late hours are the norm.

There were several issues with this hotel. The first is that they share a valet with the hotel next store so you have to leave your car practically in the middle of the street while you go inside and wait for them to call the valet, who may take quite some time to get to you. Location, location, location. This hotel is about 2 blocks from the beach and right in the center of the action in South Beach. The staff is very warming and attentive the entire time. We stayed here for 2 nights during our honeymoon and had a blast. The hotel also offeres complimentary shuttle service to MIA, in addition to beach towels and chairs. […] Great hotel for the price. The one bedroom suite was okay but could have did without the cracked floor in bathroom and cracked sink. Also, a fridge or microwave would have been great if one or both was in the room. Oh and the glass door was only a half of piece of glass for the tub. The sliding door was missing I guess...smh! Other than that it was an okay stay.

Quiet room within walking distance to the beach and clubs (5 minutes tops). The room came with free breakfast, free happy hour, and VIP passes to mansion, a trendy club. The club passes were great. We still paid a $30 cover charge, but got one free drink pass so it came to like a $15 cover charge, plus we did not have to wait on line to get into the […] club. The free breakfast was a bagel and coffee - that is it. If you want a second bagel or piece of fruit, you have to pay for it. I stay at astor for 4 days and was a goood experience the room was clean and the staff was very helpful and kind I like the fact the provide chairs and towels for the beach, the parking was pricey I recomend no to rent a car everything is very close wich is great.

The staff at the hotel was excellent and the restaurant in the lobby looked very nice. I actually did not eat at therestaurant but I did have a cappuccino which was very good. The room was not good. This is a Boutique Hotel on the third street away from South Beach. The lobby is nice and the place is far enough out of the way so you are not overwhelmed by people or noise. We were given a room in the back by the stairs that was very make shift and I am sure not what the others are like. The room had a funky fogged door and a key for it instead of […] an electronic card. The room was part modern and part yucky when you analyzed it. The paint was peeled or poorly done in certain parts, the air conditioning in the bed area was not very strong, and the shower dripped the whole time. The bed was nice and big and it did have a mini bar area. If I was planning on staying in the room for other than sleeping I would have asked to have been moved. The place has no parking other than valet ($30 but typical South Beach) and no pool or other major ammenities. Nice hotel. I would stay there again. Only had problem with itching whenever i laid in bed. Not sure if it was bed bugs since I didn't see any, and believe me, I looked. Might have been a reaction to whatever soap they use to wash linens. Overall, really nice spot at reasonable price.

the room was clean, same as the pic. but the bathroom was soooo disgusting. it looks great but when u use it u'll see how bad it is. the water in the bath tube never go away, NO HOT WATER, the towels are very old, u'll never be able to use them. but it is still nice for the price.
