Bayswater Inn Londra

L'hotel è situato in una zona abbastanza centrale e vicino a due fermate della metro, buona la posizione, un quartiere tranquillo circondato da altri hotel. in soli due minuti si raggiunge la via principale della zona, piena di negozi e ristoranti. Arrivati in hotel il primo giorno ci hanno subito comunicato che avevano esaurito le camere e quindi hanno […] chiamato un taxi per trasferirci in un altro hotel poco distante dal Bayswater (mi è sembrata una cosa piuttosto frequente). La mattina dopo ritorniamo (sempre con il taxy prenotato dal nostro hotel) all'orario stabilito e ci dicono che ancora non era pronta la stanza e dovevamo passare dopo un'ora..abbiamo lasciato in una loro saletta le valigie, abbiamo dovuto fare un giro nei dintorni per poi ritornare per avere la stanza (in sostanza abbiamo perso una mattina). La camera forse per farsi perdonare, era buona, una tripla anche se eravamo in due, spaziosa e pulita. Il bagno pulito ma come condizione non era delle migliori.. La colazione era per lo più base: pane, burro, marmellate, croissant, latte, caffè, the, succo e cioccolata; vi era anche una scarsa colazione inglese con salsicce e fagioli. Posizione ideale per visitare la città (3 fermate di metro a 5 minuti a piedi) e diversi autobus nelle vicinanze. Hotel tutto sommato accettabile se avete qualche accorgimento:i copricuscini sono gialli, quindi premunitevi da casa e le asciugamani che sostituiscono tutti i giorni avevano sempre delle macchie, quindi se non volete rischiare portate anche […] un telo per la doccia. Ah un'altra nota negativa è che la signora delle pulizie alle 9.30-9.45 entra in camera a meno che non riusciate a sentirla prima per bloccarla, quindi se state dormendo, ve la ritrovate dentro! Le piattole in camera fografata e documentata alla reception dopo il cambio camera un'altra piattola nel tetto. Per non parlare della colazione fagioli in scatola salsicce di che animale solo dio puo sapere succo d'arancia esclusivamente acido caffè orribile praticamente di mangiabile c'era solo il pane e marmellata fino a quando non ho trovato la muffa […] nel pane che posso documentare anche quella, mi sono vergognata tantissimo dei miei amici visto che io avevo prenotato l'hotel mai più e mai poi comunque ho visto alcuni appartamenti quando torno so già dove andare x che se gli alberghi a 3 stelle sono come Bayswater inn aiuto!!!!!!! Sicuramente, per chi vuole soggiornare a Londra, suggerisco l'hotel " Bayswater Inn " ben posizionato: vicino alla linea della metro Queensway, la quale permette di raggiungere in breve tempo il centro della città e non solo. Ottimo il rapporto qualità-prezzo.

hotel a pochi metri dalla stazione metro di Bayswater (linea gialla e verde), a una fermata di distanza da Notting Hill Gate. A pochi metri da Hyde Park e da Portobello Road perfetto per chi vuole uscire la mattina e tornare alla sera alla scoperta di Londra.

hotel molto carino anche se un po di manutenzione in più non guasterebbe. i receptionist sono molto cordiali e gentili e aiutano se hai un problema logistico. l'unico problema riscontrato è stato il modo di funzionamento della doccia,in quanto diversa dai modelli che abbiamo qui a Torino. in linea generale comunque sono molto soddisfatta sia dal servizio […] ricevuto che dal posizionamento dell'hotel. Posizione centrale, a due passi dai Kensigton Gardens e da Hyde Park. Zona silenziosa e camere confortevoli. Non fatevi mettere undergorund. In 8 minuti di bus si è a Piccadilly Circus.

I thought I paid too much for this room compared to my other UK hotles. The TV's in the hotel were all down. The location was out of the way.

The Bayswater Inn is a clean, comfortable hotel. It's not a 5 star luxury hotel and it doesn't claim to be. The rooms are a bit small, but they're nicely furnished and clean. Considering its price, the Bayswater Inn is a very good hotel. Good location, Bayswater is a lively, bustling area, good pubs and restaurants nearby. The Bayswater Inn is good value by London standards and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast was simple self-service but better than in many upmarket hotels. But the first room offered was in the basement which smelt terribly throughout of damp and dry rot. This […] first room was a dungeon with one small frosted glass window. I asked for a change and was accommodated straight away to a better, slightly brighter room with a good bathroom on the ground floor. I couldn't have survived in that tomb, maybe the rooms up the house are better. The hotel is a basic place, needs a lot of refurbishment but the staff are pleasant and on the ball and for what you pay it's not bad compared to other London hotels. Got room number 2, which is in a little corner of the basement(next to room #1). I woke up every morning because the people from room #1 went out and, of course, closed their door and talked outside in the hall. If the room above me went to the bathroom/took a shower it felt like they were in my bathroom cause of the noise. The beds were terrible. I […] had to put the other beds comforter on top of my mattress so my back wouldnt hurt too much. The breakfast was... bad, but i guess you cant expect much. It was a great value for the money for London. The building had character. The staff were very nice. The breakfast every morning was a full breakfast buffet, and was the best I have seen for breakfast included. We made the right choice. The room smelt musty and damp. The beds were uncomfortable, room generally were old and uncared for.

Excellent location with two underground stations nearby, Bayswater and Queensway, makes it easy to move around in London during the stay. The hotel is typical what you can expect in London at this price. It provides roof over the head and a decent bed to sleep in. The breakfast included exceeds expectations with scrambled eggs and English sausages and […] beans in tomato sauce, cereals, yoghurt, rolls and drinkable coffee. Staff is very friendly and helpful, stay away from the rooms in the basement. We were advised a family room on lower ground floor but were able to swap for a room on 4th floor instead. There is a typical cellar smell on ground floor and the room we were given was not properly cleaned. Would definitely recommend to stay at this hotel if you're looking for cheap alternative and don't plan to spend time in the hotel except for sleeping. Continua a leggere

stayed for 3 nights room good staff very helful handy for bayswater tube only two minutes away and most important near to the tuk tuk noodle bar bayswater best noodles in town would definatly stay again soon

OK Hotel - you get what you pay for. The Breakfast was really good - warm food not only toasts. The beds was rather bad though thats the most negative things I can say about this hotel.

Lovely hotel, great breakfasts, helpful staff. Close to 2 metro stations, Hyde Park and walking distances to central London. Would highly recommend it.

I was in one of five newly refurbished rooms (Room 58), the room itself was quite nice however it was let down by a number of things. Firstly in order to get into my room a member of staff always had to accompany me to the room as they have one keycard that is shared for all five new rooms. Secondly the amount of noise that could be heard from it. Not […] only was it next to the lift shaft (wasn't used too often, nothing they can do about this, so wasn't too big a deal) but the reception has the world's noisiest printer which they appear to use in the very early hours of the morning in order to prepare their paperwork for the day and you hear every single character it prints. Why they don't invest in a modern, quiet printer is beyond me. Equally you could at times hear staff talking very loudly during the night. The breakfast was a buffet. The hot food was terrible, but the breads and croissants quite edible. Another major disappointment was that while they have wifi in the reception area which is visible to a computer in room 58, they charge for use but provide no details of it in the room. I chose to go to a local pub to use the free wifi instead - short sighted for a hotel, especially when the room in that area has such other disadvantages it would have made all the difference to an overall experience. We are very satisfied from the hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean. Only mattresses on the beds were not comfortable.

This hotel was much better than I expected. I have paid a lot more for a lot worse outside London. I particularly appreciated the friendliness of the staff who took the trouble to visit us in our room to check that everything was ok. Breakfast was basic but fresh and staff were on hand to top up tea pots etc without having to be asked.

We found the hotel to be clean and confortable. we would stay here again as it was good value for money. the only down fall for us was, they advertised a bar, which when we were there it had closed down.

There's nothing to elaborate on about this hotel as it has all been mentioned. My room was clean however the bed was not comfortable. I only planned to stay in the room when I'm asleep so it was adequate for me. If you are on a budget and want to spend money on more exciting things, this could be a good option for you.

Lived in a dark 3 bed room in the cellar, but it was OK to the price. . We were waked every morning 9 o`clock aboyt cleaning as there was no "Not disturb oppertunity"

Fantastic value for money. I have stayed at worse hotels in London for twice the price.

lovely stay, had to ask the staff for directions and numbers etc a lot and they completely oblige. Very nice people, clean hotel and room, towels changed every day, very close to tube station. Would def stay again -Young couple on short break to London

Excellent value for money. Fine, clean and spacious rooms with a view to the park. No traffic or other kind of noise from anywhere. Perfect service. Alright breakfast with bread, buns and croissants, cerials, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice and yoghurt. While the location is wonderful and the service from staff truly exceptional (given the circumstances they work in), this hotel has not seen a renovation in years. Carpets are worn, there are 1/4 inch cracks under the doors to the hallways, bathrooms are old, heat doesn't come through the bedroom radiator's (you can see that the heat has been reserved […] for the hallways... ) and you have the privilege of freezing in the recent below zero weather. I have stayed here years before and have seen each time I book that the hotel is usually full on a steady basis (due mainly to it's price). You can see that the owners/investors are milking it in and not reinvesting in the upkeep of this property. Shame! And warning -- there is wifi but you pay through the nose and the signal is so low you can't get online - so go to the pub across the street. Not staying here again. Continua a leggere

After a long U.K. holiday, I spent my last night here due to the closeness to Paddington station. I just wanted to relax in my room and watch t.v. and make some e-mails. The t.v. was terrible. 3 channels and none of them came in. Internet was only available in the public areas. This would have been fine if the in-house bar would have been open, but […] it wasn't. Much as expected - cheap and cheerful so nothing to write home about, but comfortable enough for one night while attending conference at Olympia. (Taxi one way was a tenner, but it's possible to walk it in half an hour or less). This is a great hotel, and worth the money. It is cheap and near the Bayswater underground. The hotel itself isn't in great condition, but again, it is not really that expensive, when you consider what a hotelroom usually goes for in London. Hotel is fine for a bed for the night, but don't expect miracles! Value for money.

It wasn't the Ritz but for the price I paid it was fine. The room was small but typical for London, the staff was helpful and polite and everything was clean. If you haven't stayed Bayswater/Queensway area before I would HIGHLY recommend. This hotel is a five minute walk from the high street, two very well connected Tube stops and it's right on the […] north side of Hyde Park. I stay here because it's fairly central yet the neighborhood is so quiet, lots of joggers and somewhat well to do. Hotel was excellent value. You could have heard a pin drop in the night it was so quiet there, other guests seemed respectful of time of night when they came in etc. Room spacious and bathroom nice and clean. Only grumble the floor could have done with a bit of a hoover and the mattress was a bit like lying on bare springs. My wife and I now use the Bay Water as the low watermark of hotels. Wear your socks in the room and burn them when you leave. Must pay for internet service. It is now under renovation so has to improve. Breakfast was OK. Location is OK. When I got ready to book our trip to Boston this week, my wife said "Don't book another Bay Water". The hotel is fairly basic, but the price and location make it great value for a short stay in London.

I suposed that 3 * in London would have been better than this hotel. Location is good but the hotel is old. The room was too small, the bed too and also unconfortable, the walls are made by paper. The Hotel was OK, my only real complaint was, I found a pair of nickers and a sock next to the bed.

Thanks to all other comments on this site we knew what we could expect. You get what you pay for! All we wanted was a clean bed, toilet and shower and this is what we got. For a cheep weekend in London this was ok. The location was great and hotel staff pleasant. The floor is sagging. Beds are old and creaky. Bathroom is really nasty. Hallways are small and if you're claustrophobic, I won't recommend this hotel. It's cramped up.
