"BEAUTIFUL SETTING 1 MILE FROM DOWNTOWN KENMARE"
THIS IS A TYPICAL RELAIS & CHATEAU, GORGEOUS, IMPECCABLE SERVICE, FULL OF AMENITIES AND EXPENSIVE BUT WORTH IT. THE BAR IS VERY NICE AND OVERLOOKS THE FALLS. I DON'T THINK THE RESTAURANT IS ANY BETTER THAN THOSE IN KENMARE AND IS A LITTLE STUFFY. THE HEALTH FACILITIES ARE GREAT.
"The Sheen Falls Hotel - a little bit of heaven"
We stayed in the Sheen Falls recently and it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Ireland. All aspects were fantastic. It is also in a beautiful part of Ireland and the town of Kenmare on its doorstep is idyllic with lovely coffee shops.

Luxurious and very well run hotel. The staff were friendly and obliging. Expensive, but not unreasonably so at the rates available. Food was good although we only tried the informal dining. We had a wonderful view of the Falls from our room (208). "Sheen Falls Lodge a great place to relax"
Sheen Falls Lodge is a wonderful place, in a beautiful setting, to relax and unwind. It is located in idyllic Kerry County, Ireland, away (and trust me I mean away) from the hustle and bustle. . . Kenmore is a quaint town (which can be toured in 1 hour or less). Rooms are not air conditioned, but luckily for us, it was not too hot when we were there […] so we were able to leave the windows open. Ask for a room facing the falls (we did not) . This sound of the river would be wonderful to fall asleep to. The food on site was about a 3.5 out of 5. We dined in the formal restaurant one evening, and the meal was lovely, but double what meals at local area restaurants were. Not worth the added price. The breakfast buffet is quite nice. The spa is small. Most waiters/waitresses are young adults from Europe who have traveled to Ireland to work. Quite friendly and International feeling. Overall I would give the hotel a 4/5 rating. Not what I would consider a 5 star hotel, but 4 star for sure. Continua a leggere

"Gorgeous Place"
We had a wonderful stay at Sheen Falls. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff was very friendly. The room was very spacious. It was a very relaxing place to stay. This hotel was listed on a list of 1000 places to see before you die and it did not disappoint!
The Sheen Falls is perfect for a relaxing break with beautiful grounds for walking. The staff are friendly and the ambiance is such that it is very easy to relax .
"Beautiful Hotel"
Set on the River Sheen Falls, its really a resort. Easy access to the Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara. About a mile from Kenmare which is not a problem if you have a car. Lack of air conditioning could be a problem in unseasonably warm weather, but A/C is rare in this part of Ireland. Was disappointed in Oscar's, the casual restaurant, which only had […] an overpriced "barbeque" on the night we were there. Much better and more reasonable food available in town which has some really nice places. Didn't hit the formal restaurant which I understand is very good. Sheen Falls Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. It might benefit from lowering the bar food prices as it was a bit too expensive to eat there.
