"close to everything we wanted to see"
The hotel is nice. the room was very clean compared to some that I've stayed at. the service was really great. The lady that checked us in was really nice. When my daughter was swimming at there hotel pool a whole of older boys came in and was making alot of splashes so my daughter got out. I went to the front desk to complain and she could see by the […] look of my face that the boys were up to no good, so she immediately went in to say something to the boys about doing cannon balls in the pool. I was so happy she could read my mind. The weight room was great expecially for the kids. Location was great. I could find everything easily. Overall a great stay, I would stay there again next year. "Romantic getaway"
We were very pleased with our stay. We had a jacuzzi room with a king size bed. It was a lovely room and the tub was huge:) We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Hampton - Erie"
We always stay at the nearest Hampton. The quality and service are very consistent. The staff at Erie was pleasant and helpful.

The hotel itself was very clean and well run. The staff was very friendly ahd helpful. The room were clean and comfortable, although it seemed a little smaller than what I remember from other Hampton Inns. The only negative I would comment on was that the hotel sat right on the expressway exit ramp. This made it very convernient for the on-off expresseay […] access, but a little noisy at night. By the way, as ususal, the breakfast was fantastic! There was a lot of variety and everything was fresh looking-not stale- and quite appetizing. I stayed three nights and each day there were new youth groups staying there. It was so congested in the lobby that the elevator couldn't be reached. The rooms need to be updated. The carpet in my room was permanently stained and the front panel of the tub was falling off. Springs were starting to poke through the mattress. The Hotel room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and it contained the necessary amount of towels, soap, shampoo and if you forgot your toothpaste and toothbrush, and razor you could pick them up complementary at the front desk. the bed was comfortable. The complementary breakfast had many choices.

Too bad if your room is facing the north side. Way too noisy and the front desk staff person wasn't very accommodating. She made us wait an entire day to change our room. We had to take all our bags back to the car, take them with us and then bring them back later the next day. New room was a lot quieter.

This is an all-round good hotel. Courteous and professional staff; clean and well appointed rooms and public areas. It would be hard to find a greater variety of restaurants than on this street! One minus: the heat came on with a loud thump and a noisy whirring sound... but hardly enough to spoil our overall appreciation.

Excellent stay in every way except the parking lot was a sheet of ice and very hazardous to walk/park.

I should have taken other reviews to heart about the road noise. We didn't get much sleep at all. Earplugs on the night stand...need I say more? Stay away...
"We Can Count On Hampton"
We can count on Hampton Inns to always be comfortable, clean and wonderful in what ever city we stay. The Erie Hampton had a particularly nice and helpful person (from Jamaica, I think) working the dining room and keeping the food stocked on Christmas morning.

We booked this hotel for Queen size beds when we arrived the hotel informed us they only have standard beds at this time. This hotel is situated next to the I90 Turnpike and the Peach Street exit which made it very noisy from all the traffic,the hotel was suppyling ear plugs.

"Close to all shopping."
Very clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was just continental but they keep it full. We got down for breakfast at 9: 30 and they had lots of it, not like some other hotels. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, I was very impressed. The only downfall was the receptionist told us that breakfasted ended at 11AM but really it was 10AM. I really wanted a waffle! Overall nice experience.

"Hotel in Erie was conveniently located"
I usually stay at Holiday Inn Express, but chose this one because of price. I was very satisfied, the staff was friendly, and the room was nice. Could be lcleaned better around bed areas.
"Family Getaway"
Chose this hotel for the proximity to Splash Lagoon and Casino. Oldest son was in for a basketball tournament, while younger siblings got to visit Splash Lagoon. Only one car, so the walk was short to Splash Lagoon. They even made arrangements to store the bags while my wife and kids swam. Very accomodating and clean.
Hotel was close to highway which resulted in interruped sleep due to noise from passing trucks. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel to others. Ear plugs were provided.

"Great place to stay"
Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Downside was the "sort of" hard to find location. Otherwise it was a great deal. Included was an EXCELLENT breakfast buffet. Of course the kids and adults alike loved it. Most definetely will stay there again!
