Hampton Inn Ft Lauderdale-Plantation Plantation

Clean and comfortable hotel. Not too expensive. I needed a place to crash before I drove across the state to Naples and this place was perfect.

This hotel is great I stay here a couple of times of year. How they don't remember me though is strange. Only issue is the free shuttle. It is hard to get and most times you wait a long time.

We stay quite often in the Ft Lauderdale area and found this hotel the best value and within the area of convenience for us. As we are so busy while there, the closeness to 595 and to many restaurants help us accomplish our goals. I will consider this hotel in the future.

One suggestion would be to clean the pool on a regular basis through out the day. Also, with the amount of guests at breakfast it didn't appear there was enough fruit? Staff was very professional and great to work with. Very happy with security provided

The general staff its very kind. Buy the cleaning team its not to helpfull. The swining poll Washington dirty. They didn't maje oír room one Day. And the breakfast Was artificial no healthy at all, they didn't think about people with diabetes or pregnant like I Was.

I visited Fort Lauderdale with my family last week and stayed at both the Hampton Inn Plantation and The La Quinta Inn and Suites located next door. My biggest complaint was that we reserved a room for 5 people and were expecting to have a rollaway bed. When we requested it, we were told it was a fire hazard. They offered to bring extra sheets for […] one of us to sleep on the floor or we could pay for another room, so out of principle I ended up going down to La Quinta next door where customer service was a bit better, but Hampton Inn was still better overall. For the rooms: the beds, duvet covers and pillows were more comfortable at Hampton Inn. It was also quieter, at La Quinta you could hear people walking by in the hallway. WiFi internet access was also offered at both hotels, but Hampton had a better connection most of the time. It cut off a couple of times, but they had a business center with computers and printers that could be used for free. I didn't try either gym and only tried the pool and Jacuzzi at Hampton Inn, as it was much more attractive and easily accessible than at La Quinta. The water was really warm in the pool and the Jacuzzi was at a perfect boiling point. Breakfast was also better at Hampton, as they had more options which La Quinta didn't offer and offered breakfast until 10:00, whereas La Quinta only offered it till 9:00. The Hampton Inn breakfast area was more attractive and did have more and larger tables than La Quinta. Continua a leggere

ALL 5' TELLS THE STORY. HOWEVER, THE HOTELL IS CLOSE TO SHOPPING CENTERS AND RESTAURANTS. IN ADDITION, IT IS CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE AIRPORT TO MAKING THE TRIP COMING AND GOING EASY.

Positioned between two malls and shopping districts. It was a pleasure staying here. Several times, my wife and I just walked to some local dining establishments that were nearby. This hotel is ideal for any length of stay. There is a mall across the street anchored by 4 major stores- Macy's, Dillard's, Sears,J.C. Penny's. We liked this hotel very much. We were in town to see relatives in Sunrise and to go to Gulfstream Race track. Hotel was convenient to both and had several good restaurants in the area. We plan to stay there when we come again to area.

We were greeted by Dianne, at the front desk, she was very helpful with meeting our need for a handycapped room. My sister was confined to a wheel chair after an accident that occured the prior day. Dianne went the extra mile to assure our stay was very positive. Everything about this hotel and staff was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay here, but were dissappointed in the water temperature of the pool.It was freezing, even though they said it was heated. NOT SO. The girl at the front desk scanned the rooms and found that one was already available and allowed us to check in at 10:00. She also invited us to have breakfast. We booked a night here prior to our cruise because they offered a complimentary shuttle. Prior to our arrival I called to ask if I needed a reservation for the shuttle and I was told no. We stayed an extra night in Ft. Lauderdale after a week's cruise. Someone from the hotel picked us up when the ship docked, shuttled us to the airport the next day and even gave us a ride to the local Sweet Tomatoes restaurant. My bathroom sink didn't drain properly and although they sent up a maintenance person who looked at the problem and tried to resolve it at that moment - it was not fixed during my 2 day stay. Hotel was decent, we did not arrive until 10:00 p.m. Took quite a while for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport. We had to repeatedly call the hotel. They kept asking which airline, when you are instructed to go down to hotel shuttle service. By the time we got checked in almost all the restaurants were closed.

Our family stayed at this hotel after our cruise. I could not have been more pleased with our selection. We had 2 rooms, one with 2 queen beds and 1 with a king. Both were extremely clean and fresh. The staff at the front desk were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. My stay at Hampton hotels was perfect. The staff were very professional and helpful and the room was comfortable. The rooms were clean, and bathrooms were clean as well. The location was right for me, near to stores, close enough to the express way and surrounded by good places to eat. Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations.

The hotel was nice, it was under construction but they kept it clean. The breakfast was SUPERB in the mornings, and the staff was wonderful when I had questions or needed something. I wasn't there for most of the day, but the time I was it was what I needed.
