Ottima soluzione per chi ha necessità di essere vicino all'aeroporto od al Palexpo, mentre ci vogliono almeno 20 min. in auto per andare in centro città. Hotel ben organizzato, pulito, camere spaziose.

"Good hotel in expensive Geneva, where space is a limitation"
Good service, good clean room, though small, but most likely that is all that gets for that price in Geneva, where hotels have to be built on limited land, and most likely land is very expensive. "Hotel in Geneva"
This hotel is walking distance to the train station which is convenient for arrival and leaving. Tram can be picked up outside the hotel but the Lake and old Town are both within walking distance. i recommend this hotel to families mostly..but its actually 4 stars hotel and not 5 stars....but i can be consedred as 5 stars really....its distance to the lake is reasonable ....and very important for the first travellers there that the train startion if u r coming from paris or so ..it is on the same streat exactly no need to take a taxi ....and […] its really nice hotel ....they gave u free tickets for all ur family to use the boat during the whole stay in geneva to transfer u across the lake....and they gave u offer in their resturants if u order the main course u will have the starter or the desert free to the whole family .best wishes Continua a leggere
"Beautiful Room"
We loved this hotel. The location is pretty much as everyone else has reported, easy walk to/from train station, 10 minute walk from the lakefront, slightly sketchy areas if you take the wrong route. But we never felt unsafe. We had the Executive room which was super comfortable and beautiful and larger than I expect in Europe. There was a coach for […] hanging out and the flat screen TV. The bathroom was large and clean and had everything you need. Bathrobes and slippers included. We never got the turn down service mentioned by others, but it's hard to care. "Hôtel Royal, un beau lieu bien situé"
Super accueil et service. Nous y étions une nuit de grand froid et avons demandé un radiateur électrique mais visiblement nous n'étions pas les seuls et ne l'avons jamais eu...mais l'endroit est chaleureux

Je n'ai que peu d’expérience dans des hôtels de cette catégorie, mais c'était très bien. Seul bémol,(petit) j'aurais préféré une cabine de douche à la baignoire avec cette petite vitre pas très pratique. On gicle partout ! Je pourrais y revenir. Le petit déjeuner est extra.

Le service et le confort sont irréprochables. Le personnel est souriant, courtois et a apporté des réponses à toutes nos questions et sollicitations. Si l'on peut reprocher au hall de manquer de personnalité, ce n'est pas le cas des chambres, dont la décoration est chic mais teintée d'originalité. "Keine deutschen Sprachkenntnisse"
In diesem Hotel gibt es bis in die Chefetagen niemand der die deutsche Sprache beherrscht. Auf Mails (französiche) die nicht unmittelbar die Buchung betreffen, gibt es keine Reaktion. Sehr peinlich für ein Vierstern Hotel.

"Très bon hotel"
L'hotel est très bien : très bel déco, confort, accueil et service irréprochable. Il y a même hammam/sauna/salle de sport et c'est propre et de qualité. Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déj car il était cher selon nous mais c'est genève !! Il est vraiment proche de la gare et à 10 mn du lac. C'est donc très pratique pour aller louer des vélos sur le quai […] (il y a même des prets de vélo !!) Seul point négatif, les environs: c'est un quartier proche de la gare comme dans toutes les villes. donc pas le meilleur quartier. Il y a un très bon restaurant chinois sur la meme rue. Ikke parkering utenfor hotellet på dagtid. Vi kom på natten, og kunne stå på "pakering forbudt". Alternativt er å stå i nedkjørselen til hotellparkeringen, men blokkerer da fortauet. Bilen ble kjørt inn og ut av hotellets betjening, så det er neppe mulig å tømme bilen for personer og bagasje i parkeringshuset. På tross av at jernbanen går rett bak […] hotellet i høyde med 3 etasje, hørte vi ikke støy fra tog om natten i 4. etasje. Jeg skulle med 2 barn til flyplassen dagen etter. Rask og enkel kjøring til flyplassen. Skulle vi ha gått rundt i "havneområdet" ved Genfersjøen om kvelden, så er hotellet langt nok unna til fots. Continua a leggere

"hotel royal à Genève"
Séjour parfait !!! Très bons conseils et très bon accueil de la réception. Des services gratuits très sympa : hammam, sauna, gateaux et friandises à la réception, pass transport ... Déco superbe. Proche gare et lac ...très pratique .

Das Hotel wird als 4-5 Sterne angeboten. Die Fotos versprechen zudem eine Sauna. Diese ist jedoch SEHR klein. Leider nimmt dieses Hotel grosse Reisegruppen - auch Jugendlicher - auf. Diese machten als ich da war, Nachts leider sehr viel Lärm auf dem Gang (bis nach 24.00 Uhr) und die Sauna (höchstens für 4 Leute konzipiert) wurde von über 20 Jungendlicher […] auf einmal besucht. Prima hotel, zoals bekend wel erg duur, zelfs het ontbijt was niet inclusief. voor de rest prima hotel, auto service etc, restaurant erg goed.

"Royal i Geneve - stiligt och nära stationen"
Hotellet var riktigt fint och kostade inte särskilt mycket per natt. Frukosten kostade extra (kanske lite väl) men var grym även med Svenska mått mätt. Nere i foajén fanns en bra bar och en restaurant (åt inte) och internett, som ingick, funkade även här så man kunde sitta nere i launchen med en öl å surfa. Ett väldigt litet gym fanns också och det […] innehöll de enklare grejjerna som hantlar. Bastu/relaxen var fräck men liten. Hotellet låg nära stationen dit tåget från flygplatsen anländer och bara 10 min promenad ner till sjön där det "riktiga" Genve börjar med sevärdheter etc. Continua a leggere

Le troisième lit adulte est trop étroit.

Voor Geneve is hotel Royal redelijk geprijsd en biedt het in principe alles wat je nodig hebt voor een zakentrip. Er zijn twee kanttekeningen. De ontbijtruimte is erg somber (geen ramen) en je moet geen kamer hebben aan de kant van het spoor. Er komen 's nachts erg veel treinen langs en dat gaat niet ongemerkt.

Hotel ist sehr guter Ausgangspunkt zum See und auch in die Altstadt. Zimmer sind O.K. entsprechend der Preisgünstigkeit. Nicht O.K. ist der unverschämte Preis fürs Parken (CHF 40.- für sage und schreibe eine einzige Nacht) und der Service ums Parken herum (man kommt nur sehr umständlich wieder ans Auto selbst ran - und lässt einiges im Auto wenn man […] beim Einchecken erst feststellt, dass man schnell den Schlüssel zum Wegfahren abgeben muss). Ebenso überzogen ist der Frühstückspreis von CHF 30.- p.P.. Super sind die kostenlosen Gutscheine für öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Das Rotlichtviertel zwei Querstraßen weiter hat uns nicht gestört.
