Reservation system threw out my guests and Embassy suite staff want me to pay for alternate hotel. I cannot prepay and then find a new hotel in the middle of night. Embassy suites has computer and staff problems. A 3 night stay was turned to a one night experience. These are greedy hotels in Austin. Trying to steal room rates on packed night. my stay at the hotel was very enjoyable the only thing bad i have to say is that it is far from sites of the city ... if u don't know the city or where u r going it is very easy to get lost and confused ..the staff at the hotel was very helpful and accomidateing to my requests..the room was awesome and very comfortable.i would return to the hotel again […] but only closer to the sites of the city. My wife and I were very satisfied with our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free drinks at happy hour and the free hot breakfast was an added surprise! This hotel is beautiful on the inside. It has a large lobby area with a pond area with 2 live swans swimming in it! The room was very clean and the beds weren't the most comfortable I've ever slept in, but they were definitely above average. "Nice hotel - but a bit noisey"
The room was very clean and comfortable. The complementary made to order breakfast was great. The hotel design with the room doors in an open atrium - a bit noisy when there are dozens of dozens of kids running unrestrained about the center of the hotel. I realize the hotel is not a baby sitter but it was unfortunate for me that so many kids where running […] everywhere - lots of shrieking and loud talking. I had my 10 year old son with me so its not like I don't like kids but we had an early trip so getting to sleep was tough. "Perfect hotel for a Family"
This is our third time to stay at this hotel and everything was great. We stayed at this hotel the weekend that we moved our daughter to the UT campus. The hotel staff were accommodating and pleasant, the room was very clean, and the hotel was not far away from the UT campus.
