Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

dalle foto che si vedono sembra una cosa, poi arrivi ed è tuta un'altra. mi ha deluso, reception angusta e vecchia, malandata...tanto è vero che durante la mia permanenza hanno iniziato pesanti lavori di ristrutturazione. Sistemazione ottima per una prima visita a ny. Ben collegato con metro e ottimamente servito da taxi che passano in continuazione. I quartieri circostanti sono zona di affari park avente e madison. sono stato in questo hotel per trascorrere il fine anno a New York, se dovssi tornare di nuovo, sicuramente tornerei in questo hotel, per la pulizia eccellente ( cambio biancheria da bagno quotidiana) cortesia del personale, camere ampie confortevoli e pulite, e per finire ma non per questo meno importante prezzi accessibili soprattutto per famiglie, […] noi eravamo in 4, se dovessi trovare un neo...... facevano la pulizia delle stanze il pomeriggio. "Posizione centralissima - pulitissimo"
Siamo stati dal 19 al 27 novembre in una stanza al 20esimo piano che dava sulla 3rd avenue. Indispensabile richiedere una camera ai piani alti per non sentire i rumori della strada. Tv satellitare enorme, letto comodissimo, internet wi-fi velocissimo in ogni camera e soprattutto pulizia impeccabile. A 2 passi dalla 5th avenue, da Times Square e dal […] Rockefeller center. "HOTEL BUONO, MA IL PERSONALE NON E' ALL'ALTEZZA."
Hotel in buona posizione, con ottima vista dalla ns camera, situata al 28° piano. Soddisfacente la pulizia delle camere e la dotazione delle medesime. Presenza di numerosi ascensori veloci, quindi nulla da eccepire sulla struttura e sulla sua location. Ottima la posizione dell'albergo, la presenza numerosi punti ove fare la colazione (Starbucks, a bon […] pain...) e la stazione del Metro, attigua all'albergo stesso. Abbiamo invece avuto qualche problema con il Personale del front desk. Al nostro arrivo il sofa' per nostra figlia di 14 anni non era ancora preparato: alla ns richiesta, ci e' stato risposto che avremmo trovato le lenzuola nell'armadio e di procedere quindi da soli alla sua prepazione. Tutto questo alle 11 di sera. Ci e' parso in particolare molto scadente, il servizo recepion serale e notturno. Durante il soggiorno abbiamo chiesto, per esempio, un taxi piu' ampio per uno spostamento in New York (siamo una famiglia di 5 persone e quindi sono pochi i taxi tradizionali abilitati al trasporto di un numero superiore ai 4). L'addetto serale della Reception ci ha detto che non era possibile e che avremmo dovuto chiamarlo dalla strada. Assolutamente inesistente la assistenza od i consigli per la vista della citta'. "Consigliato alle famiglie numerose."
L' hotel è comodo e funzionale perchè si trova nella zona di Midtown, a pochi passi dalla metro e per raggiungere il JFK con l' uso dell'Air-Train occorrono circa tre quarti d'ora. Consigliato alle famiglie. Le stanze sono spazioze ed in tutte c'è anche un sofà-bed ,la connessione ad internet gratis, cassaforte e tutto quello che serve per il soggiorno. "Hotel Courtyard Marriott NYC Midtown East - logisticamente perfetto"
Ho soggiornato al Courtyard Hotel una settimana ad agosto con la famiglia (io, mio marito e tre figli) . Il mio giudizio sull'hotel è decisamente molto positivo, buon rapporto prezzo/qualità e posizione perfetta. L'htl è situato lungo la 3rd ave, a pochi isolati dal cuore di Manhattan (5th ave, Madison ave, Park ave…), a pochi passi da una stazione […] metropolitana. La zona è sicura anche la sera e pullula di ristorantini aperti anche a tarda notte. La camera a noi assegnata al 23esimo piano era molto spaziosa e luminosa, affacciata sulla 3rd ave ma per nulla rumorosa, con due letti king size e un divano letto, comoda per tutta la famiglia. This was my second visit to New York, the first I stayed at the holiday in and there is nothing to be compared of. To describe the courtyard hotel... The rooms were large and clean, the bed was really comfortable. The service by the staff was great and knowledgable, also they really helped us with a really early check in. "Great value, close to sights, large rooms"
Great stay at this hotel. We arrived at 10 am, left our bags and the hotel staff ensured that we had 2 rooms next to each other after our day of sightseeing. Large, clean rooms with Internet included in the room price. Coffee maker, refrigerator, comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Next door to the hotel is a 24 hr pharmacy for drinks and snacks […] etc. 15 min walk to Times Square. Ate breakfast at Madison's on 1st and 53rd, which is a 5 min walk from the hotel, fabulous food, old diner style, wait staff very smart and attentive. Bustling place on the weekend, full of locals! "No frills good deal for NYC"
Family vacation and this hotel fit the bill - not much in terms of service, but it is a Courtyard. Great views of the city and top location. The only negative as that we wanted to watch some of the Yankee game after a full day walking and their cable package had no YES network - bummer! "Good location"
On the first night of arrival we were pleased with the cleanliness of the room etc. however, when the first of the family showered it was apparent that the water was not draining. After a quick word with the hotel staff we were moved to the top floor to a newly renovated room which was absolutely perfect! The hotel is in a great location for everything. […] The size of the family rooms are huge and more than enough space for a family of five. I would definately recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The hotel is right next to the Subway station, which makes travelling more practical. It is also merely a few streets away from Central Park and Times Square. "Home away from home."
After reading reviews about this hotel I was skeptical, but chose it anyway. Am I glad I did! The renovations so far look GREAT! The rooms are really nice and the beds are super comfy. They really should be more clear that the hotel is undergoing massive renovations. The rooms are typical Courtyard rooms, nothing special for a $299(!!!!) price tag. Hotel under construction, check in on 12th floor was a bit confusing but hotel clean and organized , didn't appear to be any security at door so potentially street access to room door was possible seemed strange in NYC. When you pull up to a beautiful hotel highly rated, you expect that. Instead we were in a hotel that was being completely renovated and were not told. "Good sized affordable family rooms"
For New York the rooms are huge! Location was fantastic as walking distance from many sights and beside a subway station. Rooms were really clean, housekeeping was fantastic and all staff were excellent and it was fantastic value for money. The only reason that I put a 4 down is that some parts of teh decor looked a little worn but nothing that causes […] concern. The new lobby is under construction so at first it can seem odd as the temporay reception is on the 12th floor, but you soon get used to it. We had 3 adults and 2 children in the room and there was loads of space. Would definitely recommend this hotel. A big thanks to the hotel staff from us for making our stay so enjoyable. "Great place, will be better after redo"
Came to the City for Anniversary night out. They are doing a massive project to make the hotel look better so its not gorgeous yet. But after its done it will look great. The service was pretty good. Check in was slow because they didn't know what rooms were open for a King size. The woman was very nice though and got it set for us. I called 30 mins […] before we were to check out to have our car out front for us. They messed up and got the wrong car. It happens but we were ready to head out and had to wait 10 minutes for them to pick up the car. They did have a fork sent up to our room at 4am when we decided to eat our leftovers from food that night. Very nice! "Nice location"
The hotel was great. There was a little construction going on inside at the time so the front desk was on the 12th floor which was a slight inconvenience but nothing major. "Under Construction"
Room was a nice size, which is what drew us to it. However, the hotel is undergoing reservations so you have to walk through construction, avoid step ladders on way to elevator and dodge workmen hauling trash. Also, not all of the amenities were fully open. No matter the price, the inconvenience wasn't worth it. "Very Friendly"
The stay was great. Abnormally low temperatures while there (5 degrees) so the corner room I had was a little chilly. Expensive of course for breakfast (NY)and there was construction going on. But the staff was as nice and professional as anywhere I have stayed. Clean and VERY friendly cleaning staff. A safe in the room for important documents, computer, […] etc. Very convenient location. The hotel is close to everything, loved the location. Even though it was under a process of some reconstruction, the effects did not affect us at all.
