"Falsa partenza, ma ottimo hotel"
Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 8 ago 2011Al ns. arrivo in camera abbiamo trovato le lenzuola sporche/non cambiate. Fatta presente la questione alla reception, dopo un attimo abbiamo ricevuto una nuova stanza. Per scusarsi ci hanno offerto la colazione gratis. L'hotel è molto pulito, al di là dell'incidente iniziale. Posizione proprio a downtown, vicino allo stadio di baseball e a tutte le altre attrattive. Ottimo anche il business center aperto 24h, con computer e stampanti. Al ristorante si mangia bene e più economicamente che negli altri ristoranti del centro: tutti piuttosto cari.

L'hotel è in ottime condizioni, ben curato, il personale estremamente gentile, la colazione ricca e abbondante. E' presente anche una piccola piscina e una lavanderia per gli ospiti. Bella anche la zona, nei dintorni di un elegante centro commerciale e del museo Henry Ford (che consiglio di visitare) raggiungibili a pochi minuti di auto.

These hotels are usually excellent. This one was difficult to find and the staff seemed more interested in talking to one another than assisting their guests with the exception of the young man who immediately changed a burnt our bulb in our room. I left a top in the closet and called to ask them to put it aside as I would pick it up. My stay included free breakfasts, both mornings I was charged for breakfasts and had to go get it removed from my bill. Very friendly front desk service, nice bistro area for breakfast and drinks. Pool was rather small. Good room & TV. On checkout, they tried to charge us tax for our hotel nights, even though we had paid in full thru hotels.com. Stay went well! The complimentary newspapers and internet-use computers in the lobby area were quite nice. Room was adequate size and clean. The surrounding area was also nice. The outside courtyard in the middle of the complex was a nice option, weather providing of course. The Bistro eatery has a limited menu selection, but for it's size, is understandable. I checked in the hotel around 6pm, I returned from my evening around 1am. When I woke up in the morning my car had been towed from one section of the hotel parking lot to the other. I confronted management about the issue. I was told that she had to make a game time decision to tow about a dozen cars, due to resurfacing the parking lot. We have stayed at many courtyards and this was by far the most disappointing. Service was not friendly at all. Our room was to have a crib set up and a be a suite and was not. The crib was then dropped off which was just a pack and play and the bedding was just throwen at us did not look fresh at all.
