Comfort Inn Aéroport Dorval

I stayed one night; my return flight was getting to Montreal at 1:00 AM, so I needed place to sleep before driving back to Ottawa. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. I was wondering how the check-in will go because I got there at 2:00 AM, but there was no problem at all. I thought about taking shuttle form the airport (didn't want to […] drive tired at night and wasn't sure really how close it is), but after waiting about 10 min for the shuttle I decided to drive there after all. Good thing too - took me not more than 10 min to get there from the airport parking. So, for my purpose - great place to stay. I will definitely stay there again if I'm in similar situation. there was hair in the tub and washroom. The is no elevator so if your coming with heavy bags, god be with you as I was offered no help. There breakfast consisted of stale bread and jam. At the end, if you need a cheap lay over. its doable

Very closed to the airport and easy access to hyghways 20 and 40. It took a very long time to check in but everything else was perfect. Please note there is no elevator before you book the second floor!!

To stay for any length of time would have been rather inconvenient as there was nothing close by but a very good Italian restaurant. The hotel itself was average but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed here on a stop over returning from vacation. Didn't arrive unti 2 am and checked out at 7am to catch our flight. No elevator and no rooms clean on the first floor. Had to move all luggage up the stairs. Sure it would be impossible for seniors or disabled people. Would not book again

The hotel was very dirty, torn carpets, bad smell. Water damage, mildew and mold. My room was the in the same condition as the rest of the motel. Just so very dirty and grubby. My shower was broken and they could not fix it. Overall, this is a property which needs a lot of work and no matter what price they charge, it is too much.

The shuttle service to the airport is excellent. That was the reason to select this hotel! We shall go back to this hotel on the way back home!

Everything was great However, the breakfast buffet menu needs to change The eggs were really cold Second, you guys need to team up with different Airlines such as Air Canada I was more comfortable in the hotel than on the airplane! The seats were horrible with Westjet!

We had an excellent stay here, after a late flight into Dorval airport. The shuttle both ways was prompt and the service efficient. We were able to park our car for the week in an enclosed area, which is locked at night, for a very reasonable rate. When you're staying at an airport hotel, you're usually interested in an early morning flight departure which you wish to make on time. The Comfort Inn Dorval has excellent transfer service to/from the airport terminal, an adequate breakfast, and clean rooms. The first room I was put into didn't have an air conditioner that worked. But the staff quickly ugraded me to a larger room and everything was fine. Nice friendly and prompt staff and clean place.

The Counter Clerk was confusing and also sarcastic-Rooms old and clean needs comple te make over as whole place leaked in smoke and people sleeping outside in parking lot in cars at night - possibly waiting for there plane ticket as close to airport Dorval...

This is a hotel you might want to consider if you need to stay close to the Airport. The Shuttle service is great, friendly staff, free wi-fi, clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

The shuttle service was horrible. There was no direction as in where they will pick u up when arrriving from the airport. The shuttle driver was not nice at all. When you ask for shuttle for pick up in the morning. To book shuttle next morning was a big deal. I was not impress. I found very stressfull . I thought it was a great hotel, well located for all local amenities and facilities and excellent for the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their faces and treated and greeted the guests with respect. The accommadation was lovely comfortable beds and the rooms were roomy and light and bright with character and style. […] The bathroom was roomy and the shower and bath great. Breakfasts - variety of pasteries and breads, cereals and plently to drink. The dining room was light and bright and welcoming to guests. I would definately stay at the Comfort Inn Dorval and being my first ever trip to Canada having somewhere comfortable warm and welcoming made my trip really great. There is no elevator to go up to the 2nd level. They had to switch our room 3 times. The air conditioner did not work in 2 rooms. The shower head did not work in 2 rooms. It was hot everywhere in the hotel. The workers just stand around. They did not clean our room until 4 pm. Disgusting! Don't stay there!

The hotel room didn't look as nice as the pictures on Internet. The carpet & curtains were old & depressing looking. The desk clerks were nice & helpful. One day we left our 'do not disturb' sign out until we departed from the hotel at 11:30 am, & our room didn't get cleaned that day.

There were 2 things that I did not like...1st was that I had to pay to access the internet on the hotel computer...2nd, I was told that breakfast would start at 6 AM and when I showed up downstairs at 6 I was told that it didn't start until 6:30. I could have slept for an extra 1/2 hour...:(

Friendly staff, early check-in is quite nice and convenient for us. 24 hour shuttle is a plus. But if you do not want to stay too close to the airport and nothing else, you may wish to look somewhere else.

Actually quite nice. We had a small dog (3 pounds) with us, and they said that they normally charge $25 dollars for a dog and normally put animals in smoking room, but since we did not know, they waived the price and let us stay in a non-smoking room. Very much appreciated, I would have hated staying in a smoking room. However, because we did not enter […] our membership number when we booked online, they would not give us our points.
