Wildwood Lodge Snowmass Village

no frills place to stay near snowmass. absolutely no free parking. and no place to park your car whilst unloading your ski gear/luggage/kids/etc. parking is 30 bucks... sorta disappointing.

This was one of the more reasonable priced rooms at Snowmass. Pluses include: Comfortable king size bed, included breakfast buffet and proximity to the Snowmass shops. Negatives include: dated interiors and bathroom and dark lighting. I would stay there again

Have you ever wanted to ski all week without staying with family? But your dreams are less than your bank statements. Everything was was nice except that it was so hot in our room which made it hard to sleep comfortably. Even opening the window didn't help. We tried adjusting the thermostat but that didn't seem to work at all.

Was upgraded to the Silvertree hotel. Was nicely surprised!

We didn't spend a great deal of time in the hotel but it met all of our needs. Our family of four stayed two nights so that we could attend the annual Balloon Festival and do some sightseeing in the area. Everything was just about perfect. The Wildwood Lodge is long overdue for a major overhaul. It appears the management has abandoned the upkeep of the lobby, hallways and balconies. We had to check in across the parking lot at the Slivertree Hotel since the lobby of the Wildwood is unstaffed and unlit. The "Wildwood Lodge" is part of a large building of several hotels under the name of Silver Tree and does not have a front door as such. It is confusing that you must go to the Silver Tree entrance to check in at their desk. The publication for "Wildwood" should point this out or it should just be "Silver Tree". Great location that is convenient to everything. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked into Wildwood but were actually put in Silvertree. I do not pay any attention to any ammenities, only the room. The room was very quiet and smelled fresh but not scented or sterilized. It was roomy, had a fridge but had to request a microwave. The facility is old but has freshened up well. It does have the new cotton and down alternative bedding. While the hotel and staff was was excellent. The room itself was very nice. But the room was very hot and uncomfortable. I know that this is a ski resort. But if you are going to be open during the summer months you need get some air conditioning, instead of that small desk fan that was in the room. The airconditioner was broken and the staff knew this in advance. When I entered the room several box fans were in use. When I mentioned it, the staff said, "Good think tonight isn't going to be too hot".

The hotel itself deserves what you paid. But the area causes me problem - it is too dry!! Even though the hotel provides the humidifier, it does not help at all. I had bleeding nose everyday while I stayed. But I should not blame the hotel.

The Wildwood Lodge is owned by the same company as the Silverwood Hotel, and we were "upgraded" to the hotel. It was great and comfortable. Nice pool with sauna. We went for a festival so other guests were a bit loud and rowdy-- particularly the ones staying below us. The room kept most of the noise out, unless we opened the patio door for air, which […] we wanted to do as there's no air conditioning. This is the second year in a row my family has stayed at the Wildwood. It's aging, but not badly. It's sort of the step-child of the Silvertree, and all of the employees both at the Wildwood and the Silvertree are stellar. This hotel makes a ski trip possible for people on a budget. It's perfectly serviceable, and the breakfast is awesome.

The staff was very friendly and responsive. The complimentary breakfast was a full buffet with plenty to offer. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself is somewhat old, but the location and service made it all worth it. We would definitely go back.

Value for money. Central location so excellent for access to the slopes (I went during the ski season). Free breakfast with lots of choices. I would stay at this hotel again. Nice room, big bed, very good.

Hotel was adequate for the price paid. Very convenient to slopes and fantastic hot breakfast buffet. Negatives were the ice machine never worked and the heat control in the room did not work. We were unbelievably hot!

Staying at the Lodge was great especially since it was directly across from the Silver Tree Hotel and we were able to enjoy all the amenities of the Silver Tree. The shopping and restaurants at the Snowmass Mall were also across from the Lodge. Everything was so convenient, no need for a car since there was shuttle service to Aspen.

The rooms aren't great, but the buffet breakfast is. Quality, well-cooked food at no additional cost. Its was a terrific way to get up and start a ski day. The heated pool and hot tub were nice to end the day too.

this was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. Worse than the old worst hotel which was a red roof inn in the ghetto in atlanta that cost 29 a night. The room stunk. Even though the hotel was not full they put us in room 251 right above the laundry room which we then heard at all hours of the night and morning. I tried to call about this but the phone […] did not work. The next morning it sounded like they were doing construction in the room above us. The bed was comfortable. But, the room needs attention. Old beat up furniture. Bathtub had rust where the water flows out of the tub. No air conditioning. Just a fan that blew around hot air. Needs general maintanance.

When I booked this, I thought I was getting a small condo unit with an efficiency kitchen, so i was surprised when it was just a hotel. they upgraded me to a nicer room which was great, but when it came time to sleep, the walls were paper thin. since i had to get up very very early, i asked to change rooms. they were very nice about it, but moving in […] the middle of the night was something that was a bit inconvenient. Since the hotel was very underbooked, I'm surprised they put me next to a bunch of full rooms. With the walls being so thin, I would think they would want to space the guests out a bit. A very nice hotel, that is in a really nice location. The thermostat did not work in the room, the refrigerator could not keep things cold, and the shower drain was clogged. Just not really what you would expect for Aspen, co. Also, you had to go to the silvertree to check in and out. Other than that, not too bad.

Given a room over the noisy laundry room. This didn't seem necessary since the hotel was very empty. Also, asked for a room with a view, but was denied. This seemed unfair when the hotel was practically empty.

Ótimo Custo/Benefício ! Os preços em Aspen são muito altos e o Wildwood pode ser uma boa opção de custo, apesar de estar em Snowmass que fica a uns 15km de Aspen. Atende bem e tem café da manhã free ! Piscina térmica de bom tamanho. Estacionamento pago, como tudo na região.

Hotel bom pelo preço pago, mas um pouco envelhecido. Café da manhã bem completo. O ponto forte é a localização, com toda a estrutura para ski (lifts, aluguel de equipamentos, etc.) muito próxima, além de ser ski-in ski-out.
