Lots of highlights within easy walking distance. Close to U-bahn. Great breakfast on second floor overlooking Stephanplatz.

A wonderful hotel with a view of Stephansdome and nice quiet windows that block out any noise from the square below. Right in the center of things and easy access to Ubahn. Very helpful and professional hotel staff. Well priced for the location and type of property.

The hotel faces the Cathedral of St Stephan. The square around the Cathedral is very busy most of the time so there is some noise. The hotel sound proofing is good though and we were not disturbed. Our room was a superior double. We had a king size bed, two chairs, a table and two windows looking out onto St.Stephans Plaza. I stayed in this hotel when I was in Vienna for a conference recently. The hotel was centrally located on Stephansplatz, just opposite of the cathedral. My room was a superior room with a view of the cathedral. The room was clean, with a very nice bathroom (both a bathtub and a separate shower). The windows were new and thick, so when I closed them […] I was not bothered by any outside noise. Just around the corner from the hotel there are restaurants, shops, and also the U-bahn which will switly bring you to other parts of Vienna (direct connection to Kaisermühlen where the conference was held). The Hotel Stephansplatz was in a perfect location for sight seeing in Vienna. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to make our stay so enjoyable. We had electric shutters on our bedroom windows which shut out all of the light and any sounds and we had the best nights sleep in a long time.The room was spotless as was the huge bathroom.One of the […] best features of the hotel was that it was lovely and warm compared to the minus 9 temperature outside( - not allowing for the wind chill!) right on the beautiful stephenplatz, facing the cathedral of vienna, walking street to the right. a wonderful experince. the weather was very frigid, but the most beauiful part of vienna was right outside our window (be sure you get a room with cathedral view, that is important, otherwise you might be facing an airshaft). staff was wonderful. sad to […] say, the breakfast menu could use an overhaul. however, staff would make you up something, like fresh fried or scrambled eggs. the cafe/bar/breakfast room was great for afternoon tea or an ecening snack. We stayed in this hotel in December 2011. It is very central to shops, cafes, restaurants and especially the Christmas Markets. Full marks to the hotel on their staff and the hotel itself. The room was very comfortable and very warm. Even if I wanted, we could not find a fault with the hotel. The hotel bar charged hotel prices coffee etc.

I would return to this hotel and recommend it to others. Extremely clean, terrific location, and has an excellent breakfast buffet in the morning (with a stunning view from the breakfast room). The only negative is its modern furnishings and design style which seemed out of place with my vision of Vienna.

Great hotel. If a cleaning lady is more trained how to behave with guests, it will be nice.

We arrived late afternoon after flying all day from Toronto. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist. Our room was spacious by European standards and the furnishings were nice. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the service was good. The location can't be beat for shopping, sightseing and the subway stop was right by us. All in all, a great  […] stay. The hotel was in the center of the old city in walking distance of all the major sights. The metro station was around the corner. We were able to get the hotel from the train station withing 15 minutes. We were also able to use the metro to get the airport in 30 minurtes. We had a great corner room with Stephensdome at our feet. Great room, breakfast,and good service once we got an internet connection as the wireless didn't work in the room. Hotel did supply connection cord for the room. Location also was excellent.

From the moment we booked into the Stephansplatz Hotel, to the day we left we could not have been happier with the position, view, standard of the room and the helpful hotel staff. Our room looked out onto the Cathedral - what a view! The breakfast was excellent. The position of the hotel in proximity to the majority of cultural and tourist sights is […] excellent. This hotel is SUPER CONVENIENT. Right off the metro, right on the main shopping strip, and right next to the church. Our friend that lives in Vienna was impressed that we were staying at this hotel!

We were very impressed with our recent stay at Hotel Stephanplatz - the staff are very friendly and courteous, and the location is incredible ( right in the middle of everything!). The breakfast was typical European fare, and they have a juice press for delicious fresh orange juice. The room was wonderful with very soft beds and shower with separate […] bath. Am Stephansplatz was the best 'value for money' hotel we have ever stayed at. Although we only booked a standard room, without requesting it, we were given a free upgrade to a room immediately facing the Stephansdom and the large central platz of Vienna! Location cannot be better. Room and all the facilities were practically brand new. Well decorated and maintained. I cannot complain about the quality and variety of food served for breakfast. I would recommend to anybody unless you demand for 5 start service.

If you like to do a lot but like a home base that's comforting, relaxing, and convenient, this place is for you. No complaints whatsoever. Central location yet quiet. Clean. Roomy by European standards. Friendly staff (who will let you in no problem at 4 am). Loved my stay there, and I would definitely go back.

I'm a picky customer and could not find one thing to complain about this hotel. The location cannot be beat for tourists, the place is immaculate and well-kept, the rooms big by Euro standards, and an amazing breakfast included. The hotel arranged for a cab to pick us up at the airport and put the charge on our bill so we didn't even have to worry about […] changing money at the airport. I don't recommend this hotel. of course it has an awesome location , across from the famous St Stephens cathedral. However, the management has become mean and cheap. For example, when you visit their coffree shop you must first pay your check or the snottty waiters won't let you sit down. The hotel wants to draw business from the street and suspects […] that their own hotel guests will run without paying. This happened to me and I was humiliated and angry that this waiter had the power to insuit guests. I will never return to this hotel again. Continua a leggere

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in December 2010. We thought the location, very central, was perfect and the hotel was everything we expected after reading other reviews. The room although not large was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was continental but lots of choices. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in the very center of the city in front of the cathedral. All the major streets with attractions start from there. It is a lovely boutique hotel with great buffet breakfast with views of the cathedral square. You can eat, read your paper and people watch from the breakfast room. The beds are comfortable, however be aware that the beds are […] double beds, which means that a queen bed is actually two beds side by side and you will feel the "gap" while sleeping. I am not sure whether they actually have rooms with queen or king size beds, but this is common in Germany and Austria. Beautiful large rooms with parquet floors, bathrooms with heater and large bathtubs, great staff. Cannot be beat for the price. I would go there again in a heartbeat despite the minor inconvenience with the bed configuration. Continua a leggere

シュテファンに面しているため、窓を開けなくてもやかましかった。でも、中庭側の部屋はおもしろくない？朝食は美味しかったです。

Mitten in der Stadt, sehr schöne große Zimmer mit Blick auf den Stephansdom. Frühstücksbüfett reichhaltig, Eierspeisen konnten frisch bestellt werden. Wir haben uns diesem Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt.

Perfekt beliggenhed. Havde værelse med udsigt til Stephansdom ;-) Vinduerne var lydtætte = ingen støj om natten selvom vi boede mit i byen - og lige ved U-bahn. Kan klart anbefales!!!
