The room was ample, and the location was very good for University access. The beds were a bit too soft for our taste, but EACH bed had THREE DIFFERENT types of pillows, so we could each have our pick! Breakfasts were basic and filling if a bit commercial. University Inn is very conveniently located just five blocks west from University of Washington campus. Lots of fun places to shop and eat in between the hotel and campus. We loved being able to bring our two Westies with us! They had very comfy beds to sleep on provided by the Inn. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed coming down to the sunny breakfast […] room every morning to enjoy hot coffee and continental breakfast. Our only complaint was the size of the room. It was very cramped for a Queen sized room. It would have been fine for one person, but two persons and two dogs (and even without the dogs), it was too small. Stayed 1 night while visiting U of W. Interacted with hotel staff several times and each time was pleasant and helpful. Rented a room with 2 queen beds and it was large and comfortable. We arrived on short notice and were welcomed by a very friendly staff that upgraded our room. We enjoyed the contemporary design and the thoughtfulness that went into the layout. The second sink was a welcome addition off of the bathroom, and the triangular window offered a very good view of the street activity. The king size bed was very comfortable, […] and it was very handy to have a mini fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast was perfect for us as we were always on the go. The hotel offered complementary transit to downtown from the university district so we could leave our car in the on site parking lot.
