The room was outdated and in need of a lot of repair - the ceiling was damaged and there was a crack in the door that we could see right outside. The bathroom is tiny with hardly room to shut the door unless you step in the shower first. The free breakfast offered was lacking in variety and appeal. This is the second time we have stayed at this establishment and we were prepared with our own towels- the ones in the room are thin but the bed is comfy and our king room included a sitting area. The staff were friendly- it seems to be family run because there were small children in the office. The room was not completely clean- we found a bottle cap […] and a cig. butt but the bathroom area was spotless. The motel was in a prime area- close to all the attractions we wanted to visit in Hendersonville NC. I loved the price of the room but was very upset with the free breakfast. There were only doughnuts and cereal there. No danish. No bagels. We had to go to breakfast at a local resturant. Overall- I would recommend this estabishment to anyone that needs inexpensive accomidations and is not looking for alot of extras. I will go back there again. Continua a leggere

You get what you pay for. If you just need a place to drop your things and sleep this will work. The rates are unbeatable. Their service was really not so great. When we arrived they would not give us a non smoking room even tho the non smoking room next to us was vacant our entire stay. On thanksgiving day we were locked out of our room due to a problem […] with the locks for a few hours. The front desk staff was unfriendly, we had problems with the locks again on Friday and the girl was quite rude. Two mornings we went down to grab some coffee (that is all the free breakfast consists of) and both times the front desk person was asleep!!! We won't be returning. Continua a leggere

Breakfast items were not very well provided. No bananas. There was some difficulty at check in when part of the party of 3 arrived in advance however they had a copy of the confirmation showing three - they were my sisters, offered to provide their credit card to secure the prepaid room until I could arrive however they were denied access until I could […] be reached (I was flying in) to approve. clean.. nice staff, the continental breakfast is good coffee is pretty good too. television sets are a bit outdated but channel selection is good. is well lit and secure. tons of restaurants and fast food places.

This is an older property that likely needs to be upgraded. It appears that the owners are unwilling to spend the money necessary to upgrade it, but it is a good property with potential and a great location.

Bathroom door wont lock in a 5 person room. They couldnt accommodate us in another room and were ready to refund out money and strand us, since it was a busy weekend. We had to manage and stay, but hotels.com took care of us for the inconvenience.

We had a smoking room, which we did not want. The smell was dreadful! Who even does this? The breakfast "buffet" was extremely limited and coffee was small and dreadful

We looked at three rooms before we found one that did not smell too bad. It must be the cleaning chemicals or something. We stayed two nights and were pleased with our stay. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful.

You could tell it was an older hotel that needed some remodeling. Our room was clean enough that I was comfortable sleeping in it. We had a king bed that was just way too soft so we woke up sore both mornings. Considering the price it wasn't a bad stay, but it might be worth the money to look for a better bed. .

As a 2-star hotel, this fits the bill. Pillows are lumpy, bed is sloping. But, room was clean, and it was generally quiet. However, when people walka by at night, its like they are in the room with you - there is no sound buffering. Otherwise, it was good for the money.

when we arrived we were given a room that had a real bad smokey oder (it was suppose to be a non-smoking room) the room needed some major remodling and the tv did not work. They charge $10.00 for the microwave and fridge. Then if you say 'no thanks' it drops to $7.00 then $5.00 - so they probably have a couple of rooms without - but if those are occupied I'll bet you get a room with the micro & fridge anyway. So cheap! The manager will complain about you getting a low rate from Expedia - Maybe they should remove the hotel […] from any travel sites instead. Continua a leggere

Stay was fine. The hotel did say that Hotels.com had reserved two rooms for us instead of one. I called hotels.com and they assured me we were charged for one room. Still waiting anxiously for the credit card bill.

Room was basic needs, comfortable bed/pillows, modest/outdated decorating, clean. Everything worked, toilets flushed, water pressure good, shower great. Office staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was mostly white carbs, real juice, good coffee. (Waffle house 5 min away). For the low price an excellent choice. Conveniently close to major exit.

Only two complaints: The light bulbs were all very dim. It was very hard to get work done. This is a silly way to save money. The room smelled musty and needs to be aired. Otherwise, everything was good.

This is a good place to stay if you are on business and on a budget.Right of I-26 only 15 Miles away from downtown Ashville. Clean and comfortable stay for the price you pay.

The room itself was nice but the first night we were there we noticed a blood spot on our daughter's bed GROSS. Next night they didn't change the bedding and the other guess next door was up fighting all night. The front desk didn't do much until I called them for a second time. Over all I don't think we would stay at this hotel again.

The only negative things were, first morning the coffee was empty and we had to tell the desk. They did make more right away, but they were unaware that there was none available. There was no fruit either morning that we were there, we asked but they didn't have any.

Checking in at the desk was easy, even though I had just booked on a website just minutes earlier. Checking into the room, there was a musty smell. FYI, Room 118 at this hotel, while listed as non-smoking, is right next door to a smoking room, making it also a room that smelled like it was a smoking room. The bathroom had broken tiles and mold/dark […] spots on the wallpaper. Overnight, the A/C began dripping condensate into the room. We notified the morning clerk of this issue when we went up for the continental breakfast. This issue was not corrected prior to our return at 9:30pm that night and it seemed like the A/C wasn't even working, either. After requesting a room change, the night clerk wanted to know if we had told the morning clerk (did it matter?) then came to see if we were lying about the sopping wet floor. After seeing the water pooled near the entrance, Shushma left and quickly returned to give us keys to room 120. This second room was fine, except there were only 3 towels for the 4 of us, so we brought room 118 towels with us. Would not recommend this hotel, although this room was selected for its proximity to the highway and its inexpensiveness (1/2 the price of an Asheville hotel). Continua a leggere

We should have walked out as soon as we walked in! We were staying there with our 13 mth old son and 3 yr old son. We were there 5 min and my husband finds 3 screws o the floor. Comforters holey. Shower curtain moldy. Tv remote filthy...wouldn't touch it. Our 3 yro had a massive nose bleed (he doesn't clot normal so he keeps bleeding) so the bed was […] covered in blood. Well we remove the sheets lo and behold no waterproof cover!! So it went thru onto mattress. I was honest and told the boy at desk what happened. He called owner who right off te bat was rude saying she was charging my credit card for new mattress and sheets. In meantime said WE could try to remove it. We were able to get it out before she got there (cold water) but she didn't want to sanitize it? Jus said to spray water mark stuff. Also made us dry the mattress with a hair dryer before we could leave.she tells my husband to take the bloody sheets and pillow to laundry. He goes to take everything and she (owner) says the "clean ones" can stay!They don't wash after every guest!! Then she says we can leave and literally 5 min later calls us accussing us of stealing bloody sheets! My husband told he repeatedly where he put them and who was there and she still insisted we stole them and was charging our card. After the 3rd call he told her we were coming back and hung up on her. After that she called back saying she found them and was sorry. This place and owner was ridiculous.I'd NEVER stay there again. Compared to the photo I saw when booking the reservation, the motel in person was much nicer in its overall outward appearance (I suggested to the desk person to update the photo on Expedia). The rooms are neat & sufficient for a motel-type stay where a decent place is needed. To the person expecting a full breakfast, you will be disappointed. As is described, this motel provides a CONTINENTAL breakfast = juice, milk, coffee, hot water for tea; starchy-type foods: cereal, sticky buns, muffins, danishes, oatmeal packs, bread w/a toaster, 1 day there were waffles; a bowl of fruit (that, if empty, just ask for more). However, I discovered a coupon for a free 1-egg breakfast at a local Waffle House (which would have been nice to see earlier than my settling on the provided breakfast). The location is very convenient to many local-area destinations. It is near the interstate; less than 2 miles from downtown Hendersonville; 30 mins to Brevard; 20+ mins to Asheville. Outback Steakhouse is a 30-second drive away, convenient store is within walking distance, fast food places and a beer/wine store are right across the main street, other restaurants are nearby. Shopping is within minutes from the motel. If you need a decent place to stay and don't require a 4-star establishment, this is the place for you! Continua a leggere

we were very disapointed. The rooms were smaller than what the pictures showed. The coffee in the room was dreadful coudn't drink it. We had a do not desturb sign on the door and the cleanning lady knocked anyway. small t.v microwave was not pluged in no outlet was available near it. Holiday inn is way better

This was a good value for the price paid. However, I was disappointed with the tobacco smell coming from the window drapes. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Additionally, all corners in the bathroom were dirty. With a 5 night stay, sheets were never changed. Breakfast bar was limited.
