Days Inn Temple Temple

It was a very nice stay

This must be an older hotel. The overall appearance was shabby. There was visible damage to exterior sheetrock. There were makeshift repairs in the room. There were numerous small stains on the sheets as if someone had dotted them with red and black sharpee pens.

Old hotel, but our room seemed to have been recently painted. Room was very clean and functional, not fancy. Very good value and I would stay there again.

Hotel was great for a quick last minute trip and overnight stay. Would stay again!

Room was ok, clean and all but they lied when we inquired about a main level room and said they were all filled and sold out--there were less than 15 cars and trucks there for the eve, 5 on the top level next to our room were used, I could see maybe 6 on the main level used--not good for someone needing main level due to bad knees and a tough fight […] to go up an down stairs with luggage. Also the b-fast was a joke, how cheap can you get to quarter danish and serve them this way--very little else offered for a continental b-fast also, old over-ripe banana and a couple of apples--I guess one can expect this when you consider the owners---- Continua a leggere

Had a very pleasant stay, really loved the location's centralized location. Easy to get in and out of. The only down side if you could call it that was I wish they had an extra blanket available for our room.

The hotel was right on the interstate in a very convenient location. It was very small and located next to two low-budget chain hotels, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable and very clean. The pool was extremely small and there was no room for us because two other families were there. The breakfast consisted of […] only toast, coffee, bagels, and two choices of cereal but the dining area was clean. For our purposes -- a clean, safe place to cool off and sleep at night during a baseball tournament -- it was sufficient but not fancy AT ALL. The room was really nice and had a comfortable bed. The bathtub was old, but okay. Room was clean and there was not a lot of noise, even though it was close to the interstate. Had restaurants close by and that was convenient. Very nice people in the office.

Both my wife and I were very pleased with the Days Inn. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the necessaties needed for our comfort. We make several trips to Temple to see family and stayed at other hotels in area and we will continue to use Days Inn for their convience and comfort.

I have stayed in five hotels since the middle of February so I can spend time with my grandfather at the VA hospital. This has been the best hotel thus far fthat was still affordable and I felt safe. First time I was not disturbed by other guests, loud noise from the street or sounds in general. Definently felt safer than some. Bed was comfortable, but desk was missing from the room. We had to work on small round table with limited work space and sitting chairs. Bathtub & commode were not clean. We asked for them to clean the bathroom before the 2nd party person arrived, but this did not happen. We asked for supplies to clean it ourself, as there was some kind of convention […] meeting in Temple the 2 nights we were there and we discovered all other area hotels were full. Linens were clean. Receptionist was friendly, but not especially helpful. Continental breakfast had mostly carbs (muffins, rolls and oatmeal). Both mornings orange juice was available, but ran out of milk before breakfast serving hours were over. No eggs or meats available on the breakfast days we were there, so if you want a solid breakfast, plan for additional cost to eat elsewhere. Very surprised that Internet was on a non-secure wireless server and lobby internet (computer) limited 15 minutes use. When we asked receptionist about the non-secure network, she said they'd never had any problems. Needless to say, we did not access any sites (our bank, email, etc.) that required password information during our stay. Will look for alternative hotel during our next visit to Temple. The outside makes you wonder a little at first when you first drive up. When you open your door you see that it is a very nice room. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We would stay there again.
