Not at all pleased with the room rate provided by Hotels.com of $125 + tax, which supposedly included our AARP discount for a room which otherwise would not have been rented. Had to wake the desk attendant upon our arrival. The following evening we stayed at a Hampton Inn in Asheboro, NC, about 1 1/2 hours away for $79 + tax, but with AARP discount, […] paid a total of $79.64, a $60+ difference. "Friendliness is their byword"
The friendliness of the staff is amazing. For example, my GPS took me to a location well removed from the motel. When I called, I got Candis on the phone. With a few simple questions she was able to determine where I was, and gave me clear directions to the motel. Once there, one of the rooms was not ready. "H I - Laurinburg - nice but smelled of cigarettes"

"Southern hospitality at its best"
The staff is the greatest. Although the hotel is physically placed in an odd location, it is close to a variety of things. Side note- if you are using your GPS you have to put in Hampton Drive not Circle. Otherwise you will end up in Laurel Hill! About 15 mins away!!!Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com
