L'hotel è veramente sovrastimato, per il prezzo pagato ci aspettavamo molto meglio, in realtà è un posto fatiscente. L'avevamo scelto per via della cucina, ma anche questa era pessima, una padella e due pentole, niente più. L'intera struttura andrebbe svuotata e rifatta completamente. Unico aspetto positivo per noi è stata la vicinanza con il centro […] (ad Ottawa è tutto concentrato nel centro) e il canale sulle cui rive è possibile correre, andare in bicicletta e altro. My first stay was OK accept the condition of the room they gave us was smelling cigarette smoke I could not stay in that room yet I had made a reservation asking for non smoking room. I went back to the desk asking to change the room. Another room was given but it needed a lot of repair ie change the carpet and fix the water temperature I almost burned […] my self due to High temp of water.This hotel needs to close down for a major renovation. The hotel was very clean and handy to downtown Ottawa. The room was big and very clean. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and updated but the hotel could use a little updating. There is not much parking at the back of the hotel.

fine for our purpose - saved the extra money on other things; amenities include clean gym and sauna, free wifi, full kitchen, and suite.

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com and this hotel was not my first choice. The one I wanted was actually sold out and I was convinced to book this one. I arrived late, was tired and hungary. I have been to this hotel once before and things went ok. I parked where I had before but this time while checking in was advised by the hotel attendant they […] had " assigned parking " for their guests. So before going to my room, I had to go and move my vehicle. I walked back to the hotel. Went to my room and discovered I was in a " non smoking " room. I had requested a " smoking room " Sooooo had to go back down to the recpetion and ask for another room. Back up I go, move my things, get settled, and decide to have a drink and a cigar. As I am lighting the cigar, I set off the fire alarm. No big deal - a few seconds and it stopped. The location is perfect everything you want to see is close by. The two beds and full size fridge and stove along with cooking utensils, cookware and dinerware was great. The only problem we had was we turned the thermostat off and is was still 75 degrees all night long we had to open and close the balcony door to keep the room comfortable.

This hotel is a great location, close to everything, especially the restaurants on Elgin Street. Unfortunately, it is in need of some major upgrades to it's decor and structure. The furniture is tired and uncomfortable. The balconies are in disrepair. The free WiFi and size of the one-bedroom suite helped make up for its weaknesses. We were a little surprised when we checked in and were informed that this hotel is not part of the Embassy Suites Hotel. Secondly, we were really not impressed with having to pay for parking at a hotel. Most hotels that you stay at the parking is free. The room needs a lot of updating and refurbishing. From the carpets to the bathroom. The fixtures […] were outdated, the toilet not flushing properly, the doors in the kitchenette not closing properly, it really needs some work. This hotel is very tired and needs a major renovation. The maid service did not leave us any towels one night but I got a quick response from the night desk clerk. It was Winterlude weekend in Ottawa and I expected the the coffee shop to be open all weekend but it was closed on family day which was a bit of an inconvenience as there were no signs to […] this effect in the hotel. Excellent location - centrally located. Clean accommodations and staff very friendly.

This was a great place to stay, a good price, friendly helpful staff and very close to the Bytown market, the Canal, Parliament and not far from the many museums in the area. The fridge and stove were handy, we had two beds a table with chairs and a couch. I had no complaints about this hotel with the exception of the fact that if one arrived late, there was a lack of parking on the hotel property. It was close to my meeting venue and had several eating establishments within walking distance. I would definately stay there again when I return to Ottawa. Very good for the price.

Wonderful hotel if staying with a family. Full kitchen and large living room was great for everyone to enjoy. Walking distance to all main attractions and cab fare reasonable for other areas. This hotel is your basic hotel no big thrills or swankiness but great price for what you get.

Freindly staff, nice spacious living accomodations and convenient to everything downtown.

i stayed here for a few nights with a few friends to see the area, and i was surprised when the place included a full kitchen, nice spacious bed area and a table to chat and eat! coming back here next time.

Arrived at 6.30 there was no Parking availalblae at the hotel , they suggested the street or across at the public parking lot, !, we attempted to purchase a parking ticket from the city owned parking lot the parking was only until 4.00am nothing for 24 hours, so we had to set the alarm for that time so we could purchase another ticket so our car would […] not be towed front desk was not helpful at all heard guests in other room all night, the hot water in the shower , way too hot can burn someone, and kept fluctuating while showering would not stay here again Continua a leggere

This is one hotel I would not recommend based on the following. The room smelled of smoke, beds sagged and that was even apparent even through the bed cover. The bathroom walls had pieces of hair on the wall, the bath tub was scratched so badly that it looked like it was dirty. The shower head was fixed and the spray came out with such force it kept […] blowing the shower curtain around. excellent location! also impressed with the size of the room, and kitchen.

The location is great but the lighting in the rooms is questionable and the plumbing drips constantly. For the price, your better off staying elsewhere.

Our stay at the Embassy Hotel And Suites in Ottawa was okay. The staff was very friendly, but the entire hotel is quite dated. We had a fairly large room, but the kitchen, bedding and couches were not the nicest. The carpet was stained, the walls were a mess and the washroom had no fan.The location was decent, but we were pretty disappointed by the […] amenties - no pool and the ice machine did not work (although the staff did get us ice from the kitchen). The door from the balcony didn't lock, and the gentleman at the front desk didn't seem at all understanding of my safety concerns. Great for families: big suites. Not fancy but clean.

Needs a makeover but room was clean and large. Patio and kitchentte were very convienient. Close to everything downtown. Would stay here again.

Great location to do the City tours at walking distances

Was not very impressed at all with this hotel....very 'grungy' look too it - except of course for the lobby! We stayed in the '2 room suite' which was one very large room. Kitchen was adequate, although our request for extra towels and place settings was ignored. Room was very run down in appearance - paint peeling, doors chipped, cracked tile floors. […] Not the greatest hotel for our European exchange student to experience! Continua a leggere

Hotel room was equiped with really old forniture. Relative good location.

Very nice room and Great location! I would highly recoomend this hotel.

The room was nice and large good for handicap people. Friendly people @ the desk helpful

Good location but this is a tired run down place in need of a major refit.
