Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 27 feb 2013Consiglio questo hotel per vari motivi , il primo è di certo il luogo dove sorge , la fermata della S Bahn permette di arrivare dall aeroporto in 30 minuti senza cambiare linea della metro , dista dal hotel 5 minuti a piedi, sempre nelle vicinanze dell albergo la metro (U bahn ) a 3 minuti a piedi . Ottime le camere , io avevo una doppia con salottino , ottima la pulizia ., personale attento e gentile . Colazione davvero ricca . Direi un posto perfetto , se dovessi tornare non esiterei a prenotare nuovamente qui .

"Buon hotel nel complesso ma con alcune pecche"
Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 27 feb 2013Hotel buono complessivamente sito a dfue passi dalla fermata della linea u2 e in posizione ottima peraltro a due passi dallo zoo e quartiere circostante. La camera tripla era ampia con un corridoio interno e bagno abbastanza confortevole ( questa la vera nota positiva) tuttavia sia i due letti predisposti sia il divano letto per la terza persona erano scomodissimi al punto da aver impedito il riposo la prima notte. detto questo devo segnalare che contrariamente al personale della reseption il personale interno è molto distratto al nostro arrivo la camera non era pronta pronta e il terzo letto non c'era. informata la reception hanno subito provveduto ad informare il personale interno di sistemare la camera cosa che hanno fatto ma molto male il letto si apriva nel centro e abbiamo scoperto l'amara sorpresa solo al nostro ritorno in tarda notte rendendo impossibile il riposo. il giorno dopo non ci hanno cambiato letto o camera ma lo hanno aggiustato alla menopeggio. In sostanza si va in albrgo principalmente per riposare il resto del giorno si è in giro e li non è stato possibile ecco perchè il soggiorno non è stato positivo.Un vero peccato perchè la colazione è stata ottima davvero e le camere nel complesso buone così come la struttura che è in un palazzo d'epoca ma cmq ristrutturato a dovere.

"Hecker's hotel - Un bel quartiere tutto da vivere"
L'hotel è molto comodo e vicino a diverse attrazioni. La zona è ricca di ristoranti carini e con buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Muoversi verso il centro e verso le altre zone di Berlino è molto semplice grazie ai mezzi pubblici e volendo i taxi sono praticamente di fronte all'hotel, ma non ve n'è bisogno. L'Hecker's Hotel di Berlino è veramente un piacevole luogo per passare dei momenti di relax a Berlino. Per raggiungerlo si può scendere alla vicina stazione della u-bahn Uhlandstr. (capolinea della U1) oppure alla stazione della s-bahn Savignyplatz. La camera che mi è stata assegnata era molto spaziosa e incorporava anche una cabina armadio. Il personale […] si è sempre rivelato molto gentile. L'hotel non ha un proprio ristorante ma ce n'è uno proprio di fianco (che penso sia convenzionato con l'hotel). "Lost opportunity"
This hotel has the potential to be excellent. However a few of the staff on the desk are not that helpful and would benefit from improveing thier interpersonal skills (i.e. when tourist arrive and are not familar with the area it would only take 10 minutes to give an overview of the area, the rail network etc...) As it was we were told that our room […] would not be ready until 1500 and left to our own devices. In addition to this we were given a room with a joining door (designed for families I guess) however we hada very loud person on the other side who insisited on having heated telephone calls well into mid night...In the end the night porter got him to stop for a while...but as you know it startee again). Why not put single guest in single rooms??? (there were plenty available). As I say in the title I was not that impressed...If the owners read this I suggest they take a trip to the Scandic hotels in Helsinki where they will see what I mean by professional, friendly service. I stayed 3 nights in Hecker's Hotel Kurfürstendamm with my mum and we had a very pleasant stay. The room was very spacious and the location of the hotel was great with some lovely restaurants close by. Did also take advanges of the free internet which worked well. Great hotel, great rooms. The staff mislead us on a few things about the city of Berlin - so don't trust them to know all the details. Nonetheless they were very helpful and accommodating. The staff is great. The rooms are spacious for Europe and very clean. 16 Euros per person for breakfast is way to much considering you can go around the corner and have a very nice breakfast for 8 or 9 Euros. The Latin bar across the street has to be the worst place in Berlin. At 9:45 we were told they were closing at 10 so we went somewhere else and […] at Midnight we noticed they were packed. I guess they don't like Westerners. In my opinion this has to be the best Hotel for the price in all of Berlin. Very close to all public transportation and shopping. A must stay Hotel!!! "Very good, economical hotel near Kurfurstendamm"
Stayed here for 5 days on a break in Berlin. Location is very good - about 100m from Uhlandstrasse U-bahn station and therefore 100m from the Ku-damm. Rooms are a bit of a mix of traditional and modern accents but everything is clean, and nothing seemed old or worn. I chose this hotel because I didn't want to spend so much at the moment, and was pleasantly […] surprised with what I got for the money. For less than the average for the area, you get a nice clean double room with comfortable bed, plasma TV, in-room WLAN and a safe that will take a (small) laptop. Note on the WLAN: it's a slightly strange system in that you have to ask Reception for the WEP key, and also a separate username and password. Remember to ask at check-in to save time. Access is good, fast, and included at least for some room types (Maybe business rooms only - I recommend checking if that's important to you) Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Staying at Hecker's added to the pleasure of our trip to Berlin. Just steps from the Kudam, it is conveniently located to numerous fun restaurants and the street scene around Savignyplatz. The hotel was in a brilliant location in the Ku'damm right near to the centre and to accessible public transport Ubahn etc. The hotel lobby was very dark and uninviting, with concrete grey walls and dimmed lighting. The breakfast area was dull. However, the room was a huge size, with a small walk in wardrobe and a nice bathroom. The carpet could have […] been replaced by a newer version, given it is supposed to be a 4* hotel, and there were no tea/coffee making facilities which would've been nice. The beds were comfortable, but we found remants of previous guests' under our bed; a tissue and a deodorant, so wondered about the cleaning ethic. Also, our toilet leaked but was promptly fixed when we reported it. Next door was a brilliant restaurant, which is a must-eat location, everything exquisite! Really nice hotel. Smart, clean and a spacious room. Great location too. Two problems though; the first, the old 'double bed actually two single beds pushed together' problem that, frankly, I'm fed up of. Secondly, and this would onlt be an issue if, as during our stay, the weather is hot, is that there was no air-conditioning in the room. "A good hotel but not 4 star"
The hotel staff are very helpful and the hotel is very conveniently located. However, the actual hotel room contains very basic furnishings and yet the bathroom is of a better standard. I would rate the hotel as 3 stars at most as compared with others I have stayed in Euorpe. "Location excellent, but not 4 star quality"
I stayed there with my daughter and while the location is excellent, I woke up each morning with a dead arm as the bed is very hard and the pillows very uncomfortable. The hotel needs refurbishment and is quite basic.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Heckers hotel - Kurfuerstendamm Berlin"
The hotel is in a great location - a few hundred meters from the U-Bahn line and on the main shopping street. The neighbourhood did not have many bars / pubs for an evening drink but it did have a variety of restaurants in the area. You could easily walk to the shops and the Berlin Zoo - and the busses from here will take you all over the city. The […] hotel had 2 double beds pushed together - rather than one large bed. Not ideal if you wish to sleep in the middle of the bed. Housekeeping arrived at 8am - while we were still sleeping - not appropriate. (and returned at 9am) keen to maintain cleanliness - but not that early when you are on holiday. "Very good"
The hotel location is perfect if you want to be on Berlin's main shopping street. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The only problem I had was the large pillows, which you have to experience to understand. I would definitely stay here again.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"A hotel full of surprises."
A convienent location just off Kurfuerstendamm. Decor a bit dated as it is very much 1990's business hotel come apartment. However, rooms are large. Some surprises include the kitchen in a cupboard in the walk in wardrobe area. Another surprise, not so pleasant, is the charge for the continental breakfast. It came as a surprise as it was not explained […] that the room did not include breakfast. We were happily greeted at reception on checking in with information when breakfast was but not what the charge for the breakfast was. "Good Location, Great Service, Rooms need updated"
We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel. The location was close to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping. Our room was very clean, and had a great updated bathroom. It was huge, as well. However, the furnishings looked like they were about 10 years old. So if you care about appearances, it may bother you, but we thought it was just […] fine. The best part of the hotel was the service, and the hotel employees went above and beyond when we were having trouble connecting to their free wireless. Overall, a great value. "If you advertise WiFi it must be working WiFi"
This hotel is clean and has good service. Next to the Kurfüstendamm is an excellent situation. BUT the sink in the bathroom did not work (for 3 days) and the WiFi is either extremely slow or often nonexistent. The WiFi connection is very low, even in the lobby. Bei unseren Aufenthalten in Berlin wohnen wir immer in Kudamm-Nähe. Wir gehen gern in die Theater am Kudamm und in Restaurants in der Umgebung. Dafür ist auch wieder das Hecker's Hotel sehr geeignet. Leider ist die Hotelbar sehr steril und schließt zu früh, um dort den Abend gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com
