"Right in the middle of it all."
The Tropicana is about location. Casino, stores, and restaurants are in the building. We were there during a storm and didn't leave for the whole day. "Very disappointed"
My husband and I were expecting amazing service and fantastic dinning from this hotel because of all the great reviews. What we got was over priced food, people asking us to keep our change after paying for our meal, movie ect, which was more than 10 dollars. A bell hop actually stop speaking to me after he saw I gave him a 3 dollar tip and no one we […] asked knew where the pool was. We finally found it. It was 5 feet deep extremely small and not clean. The only reason why we didnt leave the hotel early was because we wanted to see the ripley's believe it or not museum, which was one of BEST things on our trip. The other thing was a nice gentleman who brought us our car when leaving the hotel was extremely nice. He saw I was pregnant and helped me with my luggage, held open the door for me and talked to my husband and I like we knew him for years. Overall your trip was horrible will never go here again. "dissapointed - room nothing like picuture"
the hotel room was very disappointing, tar on carpet not sure if if this was to hide worn spot or if someone for some reason had tar in hotel room??old tv that blurred images i am sure will not be acceptable to most. Thought i chose a little more expensive hotel for better room, but if updated room was available they sure didn't offer for mid-week visit […] when hotel was half full. "Great time; freezing pool with no lounge chairs"
We had a really nice, relaxing time, but the hotel needs to make sure that there are enough lounge chairs by the outdoor pool when it is over 90 degrees! The pool also needs to be heated. The room was overpriced. Had to stay there for a bachelor party. Been to many other casino hotels in AC and all of them were nicer. "Plan ahead and be prepared!!!"
Per my Husband's request, we booked the Tropicana to celebrate his 40th Birthday. Due to schedules the best date to book was a Saturday night and depart Sunday. I booked two rooms and requested special needs due to fear of heights and to NOT be on a high floor and was placed on the 41st floor in a handicap room !?! And, my reservation specified two […] rooms with double beds and was given 1 King and 1 with double beds which was an inconvenience to my guests. The casino and quarters was swarming with people. It was overwhelming and very crowded. I would NOT recommend valet parking...you will wait forever to get your car between the cashier line and garage waiting line it took 1 hour. Also, since we were booked on the 41st floor it took over 30min to FIT in an elevator with my family and our bags because everyone was checking out. My biggest advice, stay local unless you are willing and able to deal with a big headache. Clubs were great but overpriced and 2 drinks and 2 shots cost $50 - seriously!? I was here for business. I had stayed here previously in the South Tower and had a much better room. My room for this trip was in the Havana Tower and looked like it hadn't been updated since 1965. It was a spontaneous last minute getaway but I managed to find a great deal on the way to AC. I never stayed at Tropicana before, I mostly stayed at Ceasar and Bogata but this place didn't disappoint me a bit. I will definitely come back to this casino soon.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com
