Per una cinquantenne come me certo ogni tanto le molte giovani sono un po' rumorose ma per il costo si può davvero sopportare...

L'hotel (forse meglio chiamarlo Motel) ha una posizione ideale, è a 10 min a piedi dal centro, a 2 passi da 2 linee di Metrò e facilmente raggiungibile in auto. Camera parecchio fredda per via del riscaldamento renitente (soggiorno in novembre). Ci tornerei! Di fronte alla reception baretto "caratteristico"con colazioni su misura

"Tremont Hotel Chicago,all'inizio nord del "corso" di Chicago"
Negli anni siamo stati molte volte a Chicago (per esposizioni varie e anche per turismo) scegliendo sempre alberghi lontani dal centro e muovendoci in macchina. Questa volta abbiamo deciso di scegliere un albergo Downtown e di muoverci con i trasporti pubblici.Esperienza da ripetere. Naturalmente se e quando si possono trovare, per un albergo così posizionato, […] dei prezzi accettabili come in questa occasione.Tanto di cappello al centro città, alle attrazioni, ai trasporti pubblici.Preparatevi a pasti un pò più cari della media nazionale se volete evitare le infinite proposte di fast food. La steak house in albergo è di alto livello (per gli standard americani della provincia) e i prezzi sono circa 1,5 volte la media...1 Ribeye da 14oz con contorno 45-50$+tax+mancia!! contro i 22-28 della periferia ma questa è Chicago la terza città degli USA e la città del Presidente. The hotel service and cleanliness were fine, but the building itself needs refurbishing. "Not bad - neighbor rooms were loud"

"Great location, quiet and clean."
The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the elevated train and wonderful shopping and resaurants. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. "My favorite place to stay in Chicago"
My ONLY complaint about the Tremont Hotel is that there is NO vending machines or snack foods or drinks available. When I got back to the hotel at 11 pm after a long day, I just wanted to lay down & relax. I thought it would be nice to have a Coke or cup of coffee & maybe a snack before bed so I called down and asked where the vending machines were. […] (No coffee maker in the room either) I was informed that there were none on the property. The closest place to go get something was a 10 minute walk to Walgreens. Since it was raining, I settled for the warm bottle of complimentary water sitting on the desk.... It's not THAT big of a deal. But how difficult is it to have ONE soda machine? the hotel was in an excellent location and the bed was very comfy but overall the room did not appear well maintained. Excellent location for a Chicago visit, just off the Magnificent Mile. Old building but well maintained and very clean. The king bed in my room was awesome - no lumpy mattress here! I thought it was going to be a good stay but once I was settled in my room I realized I could hear the neighbors talking loudly and was immediately concerned. The hotel was no doubt a very nice hotel at one time and the location is wonderful, but if you want to sleep between the hours of 11 and 3 am, you may not. Other than location, this hotel is mediocre at best. Halls are dingy, elevator excruciatingly slow, chipped paint, etc. It is, however a place to stay (bed was comfortable) ver close to the Mag Mile as long as all you want to do is sleep. It appeared the bathroom had been renovated more recently than anything else but not completely, i.e., new tile […] floor but the basin faucet would not turn off without hitting it with an object (in lieu of a wrench, which I didn't happen to bring with me.) "Not what I expected .."
Called front desk, no answer..no hot water (felt more luke warm), not really good on space either. I reserved a standard QUEEN and it felt as if I was staying in a standard small sized room. The closet was in the bathroom behind the door (this was really annoying)..the ceiling fan turned on by itself and the alarm clock made static noises that I ended […] up unplugging it and using my cell phone as an alarm clock. "Cozy and convenient"
This hotel is charming, small, and cozy. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was very comfortable there and loved the neighborhood feel of the location..yet it was convenient to restaurants, theatres and shops. I would love to stay there again.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Nice and close to Water Tower Place"
Nice hotel for the price. It was small and older. Had very nice staff, very willing to answer any and all questions. Could use some renovations, I think they were starting on the lobby when we left. Windows were single pane and let in cold air. Excellent location, but the parking was a little confusing and expensive.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

Great location Very old facility need renovation The room was very small. No fridge Bathroom door does not lock Someone tried to get in my room at night, looks like a drunk guest! "OK for the price"

We.moved to this hotel from another one and it was great! The service was great, the room was great, the bed was awesome, it looked very nice and clean. "Not the 4 Seasons !"
Good central location. Not many amenities - no coffee in room. You can walk a few blocks to a local grocery store that has an excellent selection of fruits, a deli, salad bar and extensive wine and beer selection.
