Great. They were extremely nice about a late departure.

Fine property, but charged me $8 for parking. Charge not disclosed; buried on website under maps and transportation, of which I needed neither so did not look there. They reversed the charge when I complained.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and I've been nothing but completely happy with the hotel and staff. They provide shuttle service to and from the airport. I was in Tempe to help move my daughter back home from ASU. The Marriott shuttle gave us a ride from her dorm back to the hotel when I requested it. Great hotel, and even better location if you want to be near Mill Ave. Less than a 5 minute walk to the lake or Gammage Theater. The only down side was the never ending train noise and airplanes landing right over the hotel all night.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, located near shopping and restaurants. I spent several days there with my family and had two rooms. Everyone was satisfied and we would return. Aloha

Great location, staff & facility. Recently had wedding guests stay here as the host hotel & everyone loved it. It was perfect - especially the airport shuttle & being able to walk around downtown Tempe. I highly recommend staying here.

My experience with the Mariott Couryard on Ash Rd in Tempe was one of the worst in my 50 year travelling career. First, I was given the wrong key for the outside door lock and was locked out my first night. Second, the hotel was built next to a train track, not a commuter train, the big ones that sound that room shaking horn as they go by. Third, when […] I finally fell back to sleep, the hotel thought it was a good idea to have workmen drilling into the wall next to my room before 8 AM. Fourth, I purchased a bacon and egg sandwich from the lobby restaurant at a price that was outrageous even for a hotel. Sixth, there was no refrigerator in my room. Seventh, the parking spots were very small requiring multiple maneuvers to get in. Eigth, there was only one functioning PC in the lobby. I sent an email I worked on for 2 hours, but it never made it to the sender or into my sent box, it was just lost. I will NEVER stay there again. Continua a leggere

Great hotel, only thing that stopped it being a 5/5 was it's proximity to the train line, got woken at 04.30 with the loud horns of the freight train going by.

Loved the location. Very close to the stores, restaurants and stadium. But we waited 2 1/2 hours in the lobby for our room to be cleaned. Check in time was 3:00 and we couldn't go up until 5:45. We kept asking how much longer and they kept telling us "Just a few minutes." We just sat there with nothing to do, exhausted and just wanting to clean up. […] What no one told us was (until the last half hour) was that someone had smoked in the room and they were having trouble removing the smell. Why not tell us that from the beginning? We never even got an apology. In fact the manager was quite rude with us because we needed to go behind the desk to get to our bags (that we had checked at 10:00am.) Did he really expect us to not need anything with close to a 3 hour wait? The younger kids working there were very nice and very helpful (students, I'm assuming) but the older people at the desk were either dismissive or outright hostile. If you're going to the game, it's probably your best bet because of the location - but don't expect too many smiles or warm feelings. Continua a leggere

After 3 long days on the road, the Courtyard Marriott was a welcome site....Hotel was immaculate...Staff friendly and helpful....This is my go to spot when I return to Tempe....

This was a great hotel - our room faced the pool and was well layed out with a nice king size bed. Downtown Tempe is around the corner. Close to wonderful restaurants on Mill Ave. Oreganoe's is just down the street... excellent Italian restaurant

went for railroad revival concert, stayed at this hotel because it was right across the street from the venue, it was super clean, comfortable, the staff was awesome, friendly, courteous, try the breakfast in the little starbucks coffee shop downstairs, I had the scramble, bacon and country potatoes and they were the best I ever had! they had little […] booth's with private TV's. overall great. It is in walking distance of Mill street with great restaurants (try the greek restaurant- awesome food), the only downfall was there was no fridge in the room, but made it up with more than needed towels Continua a leggere

as of April 2011, looks like a newly renovated hotel. Very nice modern rooms and-lobby with a great coffee/healthy food bar. Treadmill room is great but only free weights, no machines. Best of all: its wired internet is 2.5MB down/3.5MB up! Location is perfect for Tempe close to all restaurants and i block from Starbucks.

The hotel was being refurbished; while I was there they shifted back from a makeshift office to the redone and very handsome lobby. The location is excellent (for ASI visitors), the occasional trains on the tracks across the street didn't bother me, the room was fine, but what made the stay so pleasant was the staff: friendly and helpful from start-to-finish. […] I'd definitely stay there again if I needed to be near ASU or maybe, because the light rail is not far, for any visit to Phoenix. I absolutly loved the beds...they were the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on! The location was amazing as well...we really enjoyed our stay. Such a nice hotel....right in the midst of downtown Tempe...could not get any better!

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The location is ideal to access the ASU campus. We were able to walk everywhere. The staff at this location was amazing and very accomodating. The hotel appears to be a little older but is in good shape for the most part. I would definitely stay there again.

It was a great place to stay for a evening out. Dinner on Mill Street restaurant then went to a play at Grady Gammage theater. Then back to Mill street all within a short walk. Al lot of fun and No Driving!

I asked to be put in a quiet area of the hotel so was given a corner room on the top floor away from the ice machine. Beautiful! The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The sounds of other guests were very muted and never once heard a train go by. Excellent location for proximity to ASU and many dining experiences. I attended a football game […] with my son, he was able to park in the hotel lot so we could walk and was back in my room in 20 min without car and parking hassles. The only downside is the hotel had no restaurant which meant no room service but this was a very small con as I ate out most meals. I would highly recommend this hotel expecially for those with students at ASU or for Parent's Weekend. Continua a leggere
