"Down town hotel, not so much around"

It is a very old one with some parts renovated (but renovated in a way that you feel to be in 1920s). I got a very nice suite, with A/C and also there the feeling was like to be in a new room of 1920 (the wal paper, the furniture and everytjhing seems to be coming straight from the past. Some other parts are still to renovate and this gives the hotel a magic atmosphere, quite misterious. Last but not least, everybody is very nice and helpful in the hotel and the breakfast can be a real "Gala Dinner" with any kind of food. If you take all of this it in the right way, it is a unique experience, otheriwse it can be just disappointing.

Il locale per la colazione e' piccolo nei pressi della struttura ci sono un discount (7 eleven) e un distributore di carburante. E' necessario comunque avere un'auto per muoversi perche' non mi pare di aver notato fermate di trasporto pubblico nei dintorni ma mi sono fermato solo una notte e quindi non ho avuto tempo di rendermene conto anche perche' ero automunito

Great Westport location. Don't be fooled, this hotel is priced right. Don't expect a 4 start stay at a 3 star price. Everything is a step below 4 star. Breakfast Ok and it is a stretch to call this a Spa hotel. Nice 2 for one drink special at happy hour and they provide local discounts to restaurants. "Will stay here for now on"
The Q was amazing! Everyone at the hotel was nice the shuttle service they offer is just a bonus to the amazing stay. The country club is within a nice walk and the westport bars and restaurant all within a minute. We stayed 6 nights at this hotel and loved every bit. Outstanding Service. We attended a conference held at the Sheraton Crown Center. We stayed at the Q Hotel rather than the Sheraton or Westin because of price, free parking, and location. Our room at the Q Hotel that we booked on Hotels.com included 2 free drinks at happy hour, and not just a can […] of beer, but real draft beer from Boulevard brewing. We could also choose wine or well drinks. Outstanding breakfast included with room. Breakfast buffet well stocked, dining area very clean. Could order omelets, waffles, eggs, bacon, etc, from the chef. Fresh fruit and yogurt, scrambled eggs, toast, bagels, cereal, instant oatmeal, etc, at the buffet. Location a big plus because you are within walking distance to multiple restaurants and bars. From our observations, nightlife is alive and well on Westport road--Not so at Crown Center. The hotel offers shuttle service within 3 miles of the hotel, bicycles for guest use. Walking distance to Main street MAX bus. Ample free parking in the hotel parking lot if you bring your own car, which is what we did. But we also used the hotel shuttle and the Main Street MAX bus. The room and bathroom a little on the small side, compared to Fairfield/Hampton/Comfort Inn rooms. But, the Q Hotel and Spa room was clean, air conditioning worked, and no issues with furnishings in the rooms. Only major complaint is that the WiFi was slow. But I would definitely stay here again. "The lumppy beds are just the tip of the iceberg"
Going for this hotel was a big mistake. There were a lot of things wrong with it that I did not expect: 1) Cleanliness - There was a ball of hair on the shower mat which says they didnt take care of the room after it was used. The fan of the bathroom made noise and was hooked to the lights so you couldnt have one over the other. There were old stains […] on the one chair that was there which made it very questionable. 2) Free Internet - The internet may have been free but I didnt get anything. I called them up and asked them about it and they said that they will reboot the router ... I didn't get anything in the end. 3) Food Access - If you are traveling for business and don't really care about the city remember that this hotel does not have a restaurant. There is an extremely expensive store nearby and a sushi place but that's it. The personnel were not helpful in guiding my in finding food which made the whole process just torture. 4) The room - The room itself was nice looking but you could hear everything that was happening outside and around you. It was a great place to stay overall. Comfortable (except the room was too hot --on a 61 degree day, we could not access cool air and the room was really warm), good breakfast, prompt and courteous shuttle driver, and an enjoyable "happy hour" with free drinks. "unique and super accomodating"

"Walking distance from many Attractions"
Good location. Loved the golds gym membership pass. The only complaint is the breakfast service. They weren't very polite. The set up down in the basement wasn't very organized. It wasn't very inviting. The food wasn't bad through.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Great hotel amenities even greater staff"
Not only was our stay very affordable it was probably one of the best hotel experiences in a while. From the welcoming staff to the free drinks at happy hour, free on demand shuttle service and made to order omlets in the morning, I couldn't ask for anything more. "Good location, great amenities, fair room"
All in, not bad...2 free drinks (local draft beer & wine), nice breakfast, but room was nothing special. Bed was ok, shower ok, etc...they made up for this with the drinks & breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff ready to serve. Only complaint is room quality.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"The Hotel Q Rocks!!"
I recently changed jobs and travel to the Kansas City area is at least a once a month occurance. I discovered The Q when I was fed up with the high prices in the Plaza. The Plaza is within walking distance and The Q has a courtesy car to take you within a 3 mile a radius. The service at The Q is the best I have ever encounter. "Lots of amenities"
Employees were wonderful and very helpful. The cocktails in the lounge during the early evening hours were great and the bartender very nice. Shuttle service was very efficient, and breakfast was nice. The hotel room was warm and I think the thermostat was malfunctioning.
