Buona posizione centrale, ottima e abbondante colazione, staff molto gentile, pulizia camera e bagno buona. Unica pecca la dimensione della camera soprattutto avendo specificato di essere in 3 (2 adulti e 1 bambino) hanno aggiunto un letto volante x altro veramente scomodo ma non hanno tolto le poltrone mastodontiche presenti. Soddisfatto, un buon Hotel, il personale molto cordiale, la mia camera era molto pulita, la colazione era molto abbondante e buona ma purtroppo per me c'era poco in quanto essendo italiano sono abituato con il dolce e non salato ma va bene lo stesso.

Si tratta di un buon hotel, posizionato molto bene, la camera era un pò piccola ma su standard svedese. molto buona la prima colazione a buffet e gli altri servizi.

Le camere sono davvero troppo piccole, non c'è spazio per appoggiare i bagagli.. La pulizia della camera lascia a desiderare, idem per il bagno. Buona la posizione, a piedi si arriva comodamente ovunque (al centro di Stoccolma...)

We have stayed here on two different visits. It is centrally located- easy to walk to the Old Town and other sights, but also close to the train station. The staff is wonderful. The breakfast is abundant.

This is the perfect hotel for visiting Stockholm both for business and pleasure. We were three couples who stayed the weekend, and everything we took part in was within walking distance. We'll be back!

A central location within close range to most imprtant locations and central station. Room small with uncomfortable sinlge bed. Have to remove chair to view TV when lying down on bed. Bathroom nice.

We really enjoyed our stay here, because the hotel was so well located for seeing the city. It is not far from the central train station and surrounded by several subway and street car lines. We chose this hotel for its central location. It's just a few blocks to the central bus and train stations - hence it was handy for getting the train to the airport. The rooms are very small, such that one side of the double bed is against a wall, but otherwise this hotel was a pleasant place to stay. Arrived at hotel and were thrilled when we were told we could check in early in the morning. Got to room that was below grade level and although the size was ok did not feel any airconditioning. Asked the desk and they said they would fix it. Went out, came back in the early evening and room was still hot. First told the airconditioning was off in the […] hotel. Could feel the air conditioning working in the halls. Insisted on a change of room. Were moved above grade to a very small room with ok airconditioing. Really questioned if this was a room for 2. Other rooms looked larger. Location was great. Also, staff at desk very nice but only 2 people to handle check in and answer questions. They were overwhelmed much of the time. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only things we would criticise was the poor clothes storage facilities in the bedroom-,just clothes hangers on hooks on the wall that were so tiny that the hangers, kept falling off.Also we had to keep our toilet bags on the floor in the shower room as there was no other surface to place them on.

This hotel is in a very central Stockholm location. There is a food market steps from the hotel, and Gamla Stan is about five blocks south of this location on a street filled with department stores and eventually a few cafes and bars. Restaurants seem to close fairly early compared with many other European capitals. No fault of the hotel. Was most impressed […] by the helpfulness of the pleasant hotel staff. Bathroom was surprisingly large for a European hotel. As many other reviewers have said, it would be difficult to top their breakfast buffet which comes with the price of the room. There is a cool and reasonable Indian-themed restaurant called Hurry Curry a few doors north of the hotel entrance that I would also recommend for lunch. Since we got this hotel for a great discount on this website, it was affordable for us and provided everything we could have dreamed of- the perfect location close to train and bus stops, old town, train station, great food and all the major sights in Stockholm. This should be a top choice for anyone visiting the city.

Problems with the housekeeper, they did not clean our room two nights.

Recently spent three days at the Hotel Rica with my 20 year old daughter. Location was great.. within walking distance from the train station with express service to the airport, could easily walk to Gamla Stan, museums, shopping, waterfront. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Room was very nice and quiet. I found the duvet on the bed too hot for me […] and the staff kindly brought up a lighter duvet for me to try which worked well. A cosy place. Convenient and great for business as well as leisure. Service are friendly & professional. Room size can be kind of small though.

Situation good for city centre and especially for Arlanda Express train to airport - 10 min walk. Staff very pleasant and helpful, breakfast excellent. Could not recommend this hotel to friends on one ground only - the bedrooms. Request for quiet room was provided but it (Room 115) looked into breakfast atrium where people were sitting directly outside […] one's window; the window barely opened and even if it did it would have been stale air from the atrium; the airconditioning didn't work efficiently so very hot and stuffy at night; and the room was very small with extremely cramped facilities for clothes and only one small shelf, so hard to access that we needed to use a torch to see it and the safe above it! Our friends in Room 149 were even worse off for space. These were Standard Rooms but the Superior Room we viewed wasn't much bigger as the extra space was taken up by a second chair but it did have tea/coffee-making facilities. Our room was a reasonable size and very clean. The breakfast is served in the inner courtyard which has been made into a glass roofed atrium and was very pleasant. The hotel is located amongst the shops just to the north of the old town and is only 5 to 10 minutes walk from almost all the main attractions. Perfect location. You are right in the heart of everything, and walking distance of several trains, including Arlanda Express to airport. The breakfast at the hotel is a must if you want to be treated like a king (fantastic food and beautiful scenery). The hotel gave us the best treatment, even with problems that were caused with a wrong booking (handicap […] need to get a special handicap room for the needed wheel chair space). There are two Ricas, don't confuse the two. However, at the Rica Stockholm, the people at the front desk seemed to be a bit rude and snobby. Also, there was never enough room to eat at breakfast for everyone at the hotel. It was a nice place, but a small room. The lady that cleaned the rooms was EXTREMELY nice, they should have had her at the front […] instead. Location was good, easy to walk down Drottningatan to Gamla Stan, or to take the Metro anywhere. I have stayed in a few hotels in central Stockholm and the Rica Hotel is one of the best in terms of value and location. The rooms are small enough but this is typical of Stockholm. Everything is quite compact and a double room is fine for one person, but two people may find it a bit of a squeeze. The breakfast room was very untidy when I arrived and […] there were no tables ready. Food on offer is quite good though. There is no bar in the hotel (or any alcohol sold on premises), so this is a point to note. But as the hotel is centrally located there are plenty of restaurants and bars around. for a city hotel this one was right up with the best very central for shops and eateries and you could walk to a lot of attractions very good indeed.

The hotel is located in the centre of Stockholm close to the central train station and the old town and inside the main shopping area. The location is ideal for anybody who wants to be in the centre of Stockholm. The hotel is quiet. When you want nightlife and noise they are a short walk away. The Rica chain has excellent breakfasts and this was good but not as good as other hotels I have stayed in. The breakfast room is realtively small and windowless. The hotel is not new. The decor, fittings and plumbing are not the best. Everything works okay but again, some other hotels are better. For the central location, quietness and access to everything in Stockholm - this is the best hotel I have stayed in so far. If you do not mind a short journey out of town there are better hotels. Although the rooms are small and a bit stuffy, the location just can't be beat. The breakfast was a smorgasborg and everything was fantastic. We would recommend rooms on the higher floors and maybe on the outside of the building. Ours was on the first floor and our windows faced directly into the indoor breakfast courtyard ... not overly private and […] not great for getting some fresh air in the room. Although I understand that you dont get the same rooms in Europe that you do in the US, this was really too far (and we stayed in 4 other cities in Scandanvia on this trip, and this hotel had the smallest by far). You could barely get past the beds it was so tight, and there was really no place for a second suitcase to be opened. That said, the room […] was clean, staff nice and helpful, and breakfast was very good (probably the best of our trip). The location is fine, near shopping and easy walk to historic district. Very central location, great breakfast and they will pack you a lunch if you ask them to. My room on the top floor had one sloping wall but when I have stayed there before on lower floors and everything was fine.

This hotel was very conveniently located - close to Central Station and close to lots of shopping. However, because the hotel room never got very cool, we needed to sleep with our outside door open. Unfortunately, we faced a very noisy and bright street, which never really got quiet until 4 or 5 in the morning. The breakfast at the hotel was superb […] and the staff were great. Rooms are small as expected in Stockholm. Great breakfast buffet. Love free wifi in the rooms. Close to everything for the tourist or business person.

I've stayed twice at the Rica Stockholm. The location is perfect - right on the main walking/shopping street so there are lots of restaurants within just a few blocks. It's also very convenient to the T-bana (subway). Breakfasts are very large, tasty and well stocked with variety enough to please most travellers. The rooms are small - really very small […] by American standards - but the beds are comfy. I booked in advance and found the rate to be well below surrounding properties. Extremely good value for a hotel room with excellent location.

Most everything about this hotel was great: nice room, superior breakfast, central location, great price. There were only three problems: street noise most of the night, including jackhammers associated with street work at 4:30 am (not the hotel's fault)a phone that was glitchy and a lamp that didn't work (took several days to get the bulbs changed […] ).
