Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel dal 26 al 30 Novembre 2011 occupando una Colour Suite. Il Park Inn gode di una ottima posizione, in piena Alexanderlatz e dunque nel cuore del quartiere Mitte ed è molto ben collegato a U-bahn, S-bahn, tram e autobus. La struttura è ben tenuta e imponente (si tratta di un enorme grattacielo visibile in più punti del […] quartiere) la colazione è piuttosto varia, abbondante e buona, ma sinceramente l'abbiamo trovata più adatta alle esigenze degli altri ospiti stranieri (poca scelta per noi italiani abituati a latte e brioche) quindi il nostro consiglio è: se prendete un'offerta in cui la colazione è inclusa, bene, ma se pensate di pagarla a parte, non ne vale la pena per quello che costa. Alla fine con pochi euro si può fare colazione un pò ovunque a due passi dall'Hotel. La Colour Suite è bellissima, molto grande e con un design e un arredamento molto particolari!!! Bellissima la TV che ruota su se stessa tra il salottino e la zona notte!!! Il bagno è enorme e particolarissimo!!! Se avete dato un occhiata alle foto dei vari ospiti, avrete notato che tutte le stanze di questo hotel sono piene di specchi e vetri rendendole un'unico ambiente "aperto"!!! Particolare, ma proprio per questo motivo, questo hotel lo consegliamo solo a chi è gia "in confidenza", e "in intimità". L'unica pecca della colour suite è che è dotata di un particolare sistema di climatizzazione "a soffitto", posto sul letto, che durante la notte fa rumore (noi abbiamo dovuto addormentarci con i tappi alle orecchie per chiudere occhio!!!). Incluso nella colour suite c'è l'uso del minibar che però noi al nostro arrivo abbiamo dovuto far presente e controllare perchè alla reception non risultava questa cosa!!! Ma alla fine ce lo hanno riconosciuto e ogni giorno veniva rifornito di un bel pò di cose!!! Nella colour suite danno in dotazione anche due accappatoi e diversi prodotti da bagno. L'hotel ha solo una ubicazione ottima,molto ben servito dai mezzi pubblici. Il personale molto scortese, bisogna fare sempre delle code anche per una semplice informazione. Più che un hotel sembra una stazione affollata.

L'hotel è posizionato in modo strategico per la visita della città: Alexander Platz si trova, infatti, in pieno centro e molto vicino a gran parte delle principali attrazioni della città sia sotto il profilo culturale (musei), che ludico ricreativo. E' facilmente raggiungibile con un unico autobus (da capolinea a capolinea), che parte proprio dall'aeroporto […] Tegel. Inoltre la sua posizione centrale lo rende punto di passaggio per molte metropolitane, tram e sopraelevate. Alla sera non molto distante si trovano molti bei localini dove mangiare cucina tipica tedesca, avvolti da un clima caldo e accogliente e con camerieri molto più cordiali della media tedesca, riscontrata nel corso del soggiorno a Berlino. Grosso, enorme limite per un hotel di questo tipo è la totale assenza di intimità quando si va in bagno, il quale, paradossalmente, rappresenta praticamente un tutt'uno con la camera, nel senso che non esistono pareti divisorie, ma solo porte e pareti in vetro neanche troppo coprenti! Pertanto, in caso di condivisione della stanza con qualcuno con il quale non si è in grande confidenza, la permanenza nella stanza stessa può diventare veramente problematica! Grosso punto a favore dell'albergo è, viceversa, la visuale straordinaria di cui si gode dalla finestra della propria camera, specie se, come accaduto al sottoscritto, vi trovate al 32° dei 37 piani complessivi: comodamente seduti sul vostro letto potrete godere senza limiti di tempo di un panorama straordinario, senza bisogno di salire, pagando, sull'antistante torre della televisione, il punto più alto dell'intera città di Berlino. Hotel sito in posizione centrale per poter raggiungere tutte le zone della città molto velocemente, infatti a pochi metri ci sono le stazioni della U-bahn, della S-bahn e inoltre il capolinea del bus per l'aeroporto Tegel. La pulizia degli ambienti è ottima, i locali confortevoli anche se non molto spaziosi, i servizi igienici confortevoli anche se […] sono poco isolati dalla camera. Abbiamo soggiornato al Park Inn prenotando una camera doppia con colazione inclusa. All'arrivo il check in è stato rapido e non ha presentato problemi di rilievo. Il personale parla agevolmente la lingua inglese e pertanto non abbiamo avuto problemi di comunicazione. Ci è stata assegnata una camera al 32simo piano, dalla quale la vista sulla città era […] impagabile. La camera tuttavia è risultata molto piccola, il bagno era separato dal resto della stanza solamente da una vetrata, per cui addio privacy; wc e doccia condividevano la porta mentre il lavandino era esterno a questo ambiente ed adiacente al letto. La camera era abbastanza silenziosa, tuttavia le tende adibite ad oscurarla non svolgevano a dovere la loro funzione poichè di primo mattino filtrava parecchia luce. La prima colazione si è rivelata a dir poco sontuosa, praticamente c'era di tutto e la qualità del cibo era più che buona. Adiacente all'hotel c'è un parcheggio multipiano a pagamento, sorvegliato, pertanto non ci sono problemi a lasciare l'auto. L'hotel è situato ad Alexanderplatz, nel quartiere Mitte, in una posizione piuttosto centrale. La comodità maggiore è data dal fatto che esattamente sotto l'hotel, vi sono sia la stazione della metropolitana sotterranea che di superficie, sia numerose fermate di tram sia numerose di autobus, davvero comodissimo, in un attimo si è in condizione di girare tutta la città. Anche il check-out è stato rapido ed è possibile pagare il pedaggio del parcheggio adiacente direttamente alla reception, risparmiando ulteriore tempo. Solo un progettista alla spasmodica ricerca di originalità poteva pensare di collocare il lavandino e la doccia nella camera stessa, affidando la privacy ad una semplice tenda scorrevole. Fortunatamente il w.c. ha un locale prorpio e chiuso, anche se non perfettamente isolato. Più che una camera con bagno, può definirsi un bagno con camera annessa.

Posizione servita ottimamente da mezzi pubblici , nel centro assoluto di Berlino, in prossimità della zona dei musei, diretto accesso dal parcheggio, servizio buono e buona pulizia

posizione dell'hotel strategica per mezzi trasporto, vista su alexander plaz e su torre antenna tv, buon albergo, ma parcheggio auto a pagamento, pasti non compresi nel prezzo e colazione piuttosto cara (18 euro), qualsiasi altro servizio a pagamento.per il resto tutto ok. consigliato vivamente soprattutto per la posizione in pieno centro.

Good: Near train station (S-bahn+U-bahn), 15min by walk to museum isalnd. 1 min to big shopping center. Bad: Rooms are very small, no wi-fi in room, no free wifi in lobby/reception (5 eur 15 min!!! 6 eur - 1 hr !!!)

We have been in Berlin several times. The last time we lived at Park Inn at Alexanderplatz. The hotel is located in the most interesting part of Berlin, and the staff is kind and helpful. The room was not so big, but it was cleaned very well every day. The view from the room and from the roof terrasse is absolutely great!

Clean, fabulous views, reasonably large room, central location - would stay again.

PROBLEM WITH THE GLASS SHOWER IS SOLVED. THEY'VE PUT A CURTAIN AROUND IT. TXL BUS FROM TEGEL TO THE HOTEL VERY CONVENIENT, 2.30 EURO. CHECK OUT ALEXA MALL, FOOD COURT ON THE 3RD FLOOR, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SPEND BIG ON DINNERS. STAFF AT RECEPTION VERY HELPFUL, EVEN HELPED ME PRINT OUT MY BOARDING PASSES. WILL DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN.

I ENJOYED MY STAY IN A COMFORTABLE HOTEL IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION IN BERLIN - I AND MY FAMILY WILL RETURN IN THE FUTURE

Came for a 4 day visit. the hotel service was very good, the extra charge a city view room was worth every penny. the location is the best in all Berlin, right on Alexanderplatz and also right next to TV tower (gets you first in line in the morning). Only thing was the wierd shower layoud with the glass door and curtain for privacy, may not be suitable […] for everyone. ala and all, very recommended for the location and view. Continua a leggere

Brilliant location, very busy hotel. Toilet was a bit of an issue but we worked around it (glass walls). Great base for exploring Berlin, would stay again.

A comfortable room with a view, a delicious breakfast in the morning, relatively close to important sights and a U-bahn station right in front of the hotel, friendly staff. What more do you need for a pleasant stay in a great place!

Hotel was very nice, excellent location for getting about the city. U-Bahn and S-Bahn 2 minutes from front entrance.

It is an eastern german time hotel So small rooms Bathroom and bed in one room and you are like sleeping next to the bath tub

Comfortable and warm Hotel. Efficient,responsive and good humored staff. Breakfast Buffet was sumptuous and Evening Dinner Buffet excellent value. Would stay again and recommend to others without reservation.

My friend and I stayed here and it was great! Super centrally located, friendly staff, AWESOME BAR. The room was ok... had a great view. Berlin is an awesome city. When I come back, I'll be staying at the Park Inn

This was our second visit and we will certainly choose this hotel again!

Great location, right on nest to the main station in Berlin. Allows easy access to the whole city and is within walking distance of many main sites. The rooms are a good size, very clean and modern. We had a panoramic view room which was excellent, great views. The bathroom really is not a problem, even if you are with family as the curtain goes around […] the whole bathroom area. The only negatives were service in the bar was lacking and we saw quite a few people leave instead of going to the bar and getting served there. We also felt the immediate surrounding area was limited in regards to nightlife (but this is not a reflection on the hotel directly). Great location, nice restaurant and bar in the hotell, decent size but what is the deal with the layout with the bathroom and shower in the room. Only a matted glass door to separate it from the room and the sink is literally in the room . The location is excellent, however the room interior was old and outdated. But at at fair price, this might be a good compromise.

Hotel price was very attractive, location is superb, all the rails converge here, and you can walk, train, tram, or bus it anywhere in Berlin from this destination. Not much bad to write, except that you should stay away from the lower floors for two reasons: 1. The view from the upper floors is magnificent 2. We had a 5th floor room above the Burger […] King, and we had grease food smell in our room. We eventually switched to a higher floor and never looked back. Continua a leggere

A very nice hotel that we would recomend to other!!! Very clean and modern hotelroom. The breakfast was very good, had everything you could imagine!

a few metres from the train/ s/ u bahn station is superb for a short stay in this big city. The staff was friendly althought the concierge service could be better. They should focus on the clients not each other. The other staff -excellent. My room was spotless and very comfortable. I have no idea about the breakfast because the beds were too comfy... Shoppingmall […] right by, easy access to all parts of Berlin, and living in the heart of East Berlin with good restaurants, fantastic shopping and the charm of the old quarters. This hotel is very conveniently located and we got a great deal booking through Hotels.com Catch the regular airport express DB train from Schonefeld airport to the hotel doorstep (AlexanderPlatz) for just 3 Euros!! Journey time is around 30 mins. We were made very welcome by reception and we had an excellent view of the city from our room on the […] 28th floor looking west. Our only issue with the hotel was the cost of drinks in the bar (5 euros for a small beer?? 9 euros for a brandy and coke...???) and the room was on the smaller side and felt a little cramped. The TV remote didn't work either, but that's nit-picking. You don't go to Berlin to watch the TV... Note that the bathrooms only have a glass divide - so if you're sharing with friends or siblings, bear this in mind...! However, location is everything and for that, this convenient hotel scores top marks. All the main sites are easy walking distance (Brandenburg Gate is around a 30 mins walk) or you can use the underground or S-Bahn (2 mins walk from hotel) I'd happily stay there again. My Wife and I spent 3 Nights at the Park Inn - Alexanderplatz. The hotel is located just 2 minutes walk from the Alexanderplatz train station, in a pleasant city centre location. Our room on the 35th floor was comfortable and clean, with good views of the city. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the mornings, which provided a good selection of food, […] from conflakes to fresh fruit, and cooked meats etc. The city tour bus service starts at a bus stop on the opposite side of the road to the hotel. Top notch hotel. Only flaw, breakfast a bit steep. Food was tremendous though, best room I ever stayed in. Immaculate.

Good location - right be a plaza and train station. Walking distance to restaurants. Only complaint is a few nights when room was warm (albiet in Fall season), hotel maintenance wasn't able to reduce A/C any lower. We had to sleep with windows open. Also, at one point the hotel wanted to charge a early check-in fee. Hotel, however, has a great bar!

Short break at the Park Inn Alexanderplatz was perfect. The hotel was in an ideal location next to the main train station with lots of shops and restaurants close by to choose from. Also, short walking distance to the main sights. Hotel, a mixture of tourists and business people was clean and modern and staff were efficient. The location of Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz is optimal - in the very center of Berlin, close to public transport stations. Although there is lot of traffic and other activities around the hotel it is absolutely quiet. The breakfast buffet is great. The only disadvantage is the size of the standard rooms. Modern,but small room. Charged for everything. Expensive parking.

This hotel gives you easy walking access to many of the major historical sights in Berlin. It is also right on a train line making it easy to get just about anywhere. There is a market just outside the door where you can eat, drink and shop. The rooftop observation deck is magnificient.

The room was pleasant apart from the bathroom facilities. My 22 year old son and 20 year old daughter were sharing a twin room. Because the bathrooms are glass and not separate rooms, they were embarrassed. One had to come to our room when the other was showering.... A real pain in the neck. Furthermore we were unable to get rooms on the same floor […] even though I booked six months in advance because I was in a double room and they were in a twin room- result my kids were on floor 12 and we were on floor 32. We could not even use the same lift. I did not like this. The location was great for us and we love Berlin. We will return but to a hotel that is more family orientated. Continua a leggere
