Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 23 feb 2013Hotel perfetto per soggiorni lunghi in quanto ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La mia camera aveva un letto matrimoniale ed un letto supplementare per mia figlia uno schermo lcd ed un bagno con vasca e bidet. Se si vuole modificare la temperatura interna della camera bisogna lasciare un deposito di 10 sterline per avere un telecomando. La colazione per noi italiani è perfetta in quanto ci sono cornetti, pan raisin (cornetti all'uvetta grandi e piccoli) saccottini al cioccolato, panini,nutella (proprio nutella) marmellate,yougurt e pane da tostare. Se cercate la colazione inglese dovete pagare un supplemento perchè di salato è presente solo il prosciutto cotto. L'hotel si trova in zona 3 ed è a 15 minuti a piedi dalla metro (ma c'è il bus 48 che passa ogni 10 minuti e vi lascia sotto l'hotel). In 30 minuti si è in pieno centro. Se dovete passare pochi giorni a Londra forse non è l'ideale ma per chi deve passare una settimana come abbiamo fatto noi è consigliabile

Per quanto riguarda la stanza c'erano armadi piccolissimi ci si deve adattare.Buona colazione e molti giovani, dunque alla sera c'era parecchio movimento.

"Lovely country-style hotel - in Hendon"
Well appointed hotel with small, extremely comfortable rooms, on the Copthall side of Hendon. Interesting history, too - it was where the victorious English World Cup team stayed on the eve of the final in 1966. Poor service at the bar for food & drinks on arrival, even though the hotel was extremely quiet. We waited at least 10 mins to get served & then about another 20 mins to receive our food, then another 10 mins for condiments to arrive to accompany our lunch. Some areas of the hotel were not very clean. We arrived back in our hotel room at approximately […] 11:30 pm & the room was very cold, I had to wrap myself in a towel off the heated towel rail in order to get warm. "Great choice for the northern suburbs"
My wife and I stayed at the Hendon Hall for 7 nights in August 2012. Let me preface this review by pointing out that the hotel is located in suburban Hendon and there is VERY little around here to see and do. The only reason we chose this hotel is that my wife's grandmother lives right next door it. The hotel was charming and despite our room being […] on the small side, it was very tastefully appointed and in top condition (which is all the more impressive considering how long the hotel has been around). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food in the hotel's restaurant is wonderful and I definitely recommend having a meal there. This is a very nice hotel in an area of London that is not close to where the action is in London. However, it is within walking distance of a Northern Line tube station (the hotel will drive you there and pick you up) and it is about a 30 minute tube ride to the center of London. "Very quiet location, friendly and helpful staff"
The hotel appears to be undergoing renovation externally as the front of the building is wrapped in a facsimile of the hotel as it normally is. It's very cleverly done and I wasn't aware of any construction work (or noise) during my work week stay. My bedroom was excellent and the location itself very quiet indeed. On a couple of nights I had some […] noisy neighbours who had their TV so loud that the speaker was vibrating. The noise permeated but was easily cancelled out by me switching on the room ac. The breakfast offered is worth a rating all on its own. It was excellent. I never avail myself of the full English breakfast, preferring healthy fruit and muesli instead. Hendon Hall has all the bases covered though and the coffee is excellent too. The evening meals I had were served in the bar area (I didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment on their meals). The meals weren't all that great really. I found them oily in the main. Palatable but not exciting. It is quite a walk from the nearest tube station (Hendon Central on the Northern Line) but the hotel operates a complimentary shuttle service in the morning (it doesn't run in the evening though so you may have a 20 minute walk - take a small map and walk through the residential area - it's really rather nice). Expedia said we would have rooms with garden views, but both rooms had a view of the fence. One real problem, there were 3 of us at breakfast 2 of us were served our cooked breakfast ok but the other person for some unknow reason had to wait 20-30 mins even after informing staff several times, also the table had not been reset from the previous guest. "Lovely break"
Very pleasant staff. On arrival we were moved to a double room as we had been booked to a twin room. The move was perfect for us. The first room smelt of cigarette smoke so we were pleased. The food was lovely. As it was Easter break my son went on an egg hunt which was his 'high light' for the visit to London. I can't compliment the staff of the hotel enough for making us feel welcome and answering the questions that we had. This hotel has free parking which is a bonus. Have stayed here many times over the last 10 years, the decor hasn't changed in that time and is looking shabby in places. The hotel is just off the M1 if you are coming from the north. Easy to find, free car parking. The tube is a good 20 minute walk, we took a taxi back,it cost 6 pounds. "A beautiful hotel at a very reasonable price"
We stayed at the Hendon Hall Hotel in Ashley Lane, North London for 5 days this November. The hotel is beautiful, clean and very well kept; in serene surroundings and only a short drive away from Central London. The hotel provides free parking as well as free wifi everywhere in the hotel, including in the room. The complimentary breakfast is hot and […] the spread makes it possible for you to choose anything you can think of in an English Breakfast. Best of all you can have it in your room! Laura at the reception (and everyone else too) was very helpful and friendly. Our flight landed very early and they managed to give us one of our rooms on arrival, well before the 3 pm check-in. When you consider this hotel is 10 miles out of London it is still charging Cebtral London Prices. A large glass of wine and a coke cost £10. "An experience"
Easy to find,Very quiet and welcoming,staff were very polite and helpful,rooms comfortable,bed was very comfortable.Food could have been hotter and quicker but I believe the chef never turned up!! to be fair.Its 20mins to the nearest underground walking or £5 by taxi .A very comfortable and friendly 2 days had.Not forgetting the Fantastic history and […] paintings around the place.Used to be a girls school centurys ago.worth a visit. "Good quality hotel and service"
Good location - buses to Golders Green Tube go about every 12 mins Easy access from M1/A1. Quiet location. Good car park; Rooms spacious; very good restaurant; excellent cooked breakfast. "Hendon Hall Hotel"
Really nice hotel, nicely furnished quiet rooms. Interesting furniture around the building. Great free parking. Good service at reception. The only area to let the stay down was breakfast service. I was seated by the greeter, but there was no explanation of how breakfast works at Hendon Hall. Cold food is on the buffet, but hot food is cooked to order. […] Other guests who arrived after me were served before me. I asked for coffee as soon as I sat down, but it never arrived. As I stood up to leave, I was asked if I had ordered coffee, I said that they had taken too long and that I had to leave, the response was Oh. The staff at Hendon Hall were very gracious to us! Would definitely go back! Great grounds and room. Our room even had a US outlet which was handy as we had forgotten the adapter. Free car park which is a plus. Well worth the money!Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

We booked this hotel because it is in walking distance of our family that we wanted to visit a few times during our stay. And didn't expect it to be a great hotel. But we where positively surprised! The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a decent breakfast every morning in the hotel at no extra charge. The Hotel is a lovely old house with spacious rooms that have been recently refurbished. Everything about it was excellent. The garden is small but nice and the breakfast was superb! The only real issue with the hotel is it is not close to an underground station - so really its a hotel for if you have a car or are not shy of taxi fares. Well, the title says it all. This could be a beautiful hotel, but it's in need of an update. The hotel should also be proactive in supplying directions, as its location does not quite coordinate with the map displayed - my cab driver had an awful time finding it, the result being a 80 pound taxi from Heathrow (which should have cost half that).
