Great hotel for this area and near to Philadelphia

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We arrived late (midnight) on a Friday night, planning to stay through Monday morning. The lobby was busy with what looked like a wedding party. They had only two rooms left, one on the first floor, another on the fourth. The pleasant woman at the check-in desk suggested that the first floor would "be away […] from the kids", which, since my husband and I wanted a weekend together, was perfect, although I worried about the noise. As it turned out, we had a room that opened out on the pool area, and it could not have been quieter, despite the noise in the lobby. Once you closed the door, the lobby could have been on another planet. A refreshing change from rooms in which you can hear everything. The bed was fantastic, the sheets and pillows clean and soft. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries and abundant soft towels. My only quibble is that the room's organization is fit only for being in bed, which, over a several-day stay, wasn't quite enough. We ate one dinner in the hotel restaurant, located in the lobby, which, while the food was good and the staff professional, left a lot to be desired with the noisy lobby ambiance. I would not recommend it on a weekend for that reason, unless you're entertained by the shouting of teenagers. I am so glad we stayed here. We have tried some of the other cheaper nearby hotels, and I have to say, this exceeded my expectations despite the significant difference in price. If you can afford it, this is one of the better hotels in this area. It is convenient to a number of places to eat, and the staff were able to handle Russian-speaking guests with confidence and grace. Continua a leggere

The hotel is conveniently located off a major thourofare, within 1 mile of a Nice casino and a Mall. Also less than 10 miles from Philadelphia Center City. Hotel landscape and decore were immaculate. The room had modern fixtures, a flat screen tv and was decorated nicely. (very nice beds) The hotel has a nice Bar (food not exceptional) and friendly […] service. There is also an indoor/outdoor pool (great for kids not so much for adults), They had an area set up in the lobby space for internet usage (if you dont have a laptop or in foom wi-fi if you do). There is a Resturant located in hotel and they offer room service. (I judged the resturant on the quality of the room service. The food was eddible (thats it). I ordered breakfast twice,one full (cold and greasy) and continental (nice service). We decided to stay 2 extra days (best hotel in the area) one day was offered same rate as hotel.com less 10% for AAA and one at an exceptional rate the last day, nearly half off. Front desk was efficient and personable, friendly and helpful. I would have given 5 stars had I been offered the second day rate for both days.( if you can offer me 1 day you can offer 2) I would recommend this hotel it is a must stay in the Trevose Area. It was a great place, the morning coffee with access to lemonade or ice tea throughout the day was very much appreciated. The evening 5-7 greeting to guests with champagne, juices, and small edibles was a pleasure. Thank you for adding this service since our last stay. I want to request room 338 for our next trip up to Philadelphia

For my purposes hotel is a convenient location but is becoming run down and hard to believe it meets Radisson standards. Room had peeling paint, run down bathroom and overall had a poor appearance.

Breakfast buffet was very good and servers were very friendly and helpful! Hotel had the smell of smoke like it once allowed smoking. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Out of date TV, but it worked. Wanted to stay in Philly, but this was the closest I could get for a decent price in a quality hotel.

Our bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was a sleep number bed, but neither one of us could get the setting right, and we spent an uncomfortable night together. Not my favorite. Would probably not stay there again.

The hotel was ok. However, my room was located next to a huge outside fan....noise thru out the nite...paid for a restless nite.

The room was very clean, the linens were soft, and room service let me have some complimentary milk for my coffee instead of that powdery creamer they leave in the rooms. Actually, I was a little surprised that the complimentary coffee in the lobby was put away before 10am. The wireless internet connection in the room was fast and free. I didn't get […] to use the pool or gym, but they looked nice. I noticed that the walls were a bit thin-- there was a family above me and we could hear the parents scolding their kids. Though I requested a king bed in my reservation, we got two full sized beds. I didn't bother getting it changed, but I wish I had-- they were a bit squeaky. All in all, I'd stay there again. First room I was given (on third floor) had the air conditioning units for a portion of the hotel outside my window. As soon as I walked into the room, I could hear the units running and knew that I wouldn't be able to sleep. I immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a room change. I was then given a special needs room. Since I was only […] staying four nights, I did not ask for another room change. Staff at front desk could put a little more effort into looking like they care. The hotel staff was cooperative and accommodating. We were attending a 50 year class reunion nearby and my son was coming later to do the videography. He asked if he could use our room to change his clothing. The hotel staff assured us they would give my son the key to our room eliminating the need for my husband and I to wait in the hotel to let him […] in. Continua a leggere

Excellent value - Would stay again

I travel to an event every year and stay at this hotel, it still has that new look and feel--service has always been great. This time I used hotels.com to book -- that made it even faster and easier to check in. LOVE this place.

We enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Hotel. The hotel staff was very welcoming, our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel overall was very presentable and inviting. I would recommend the Radisson to anyone who is coming to Pennsylvania.

The hotel appearance was nice as well as the lobby, restaurant, lounge, waiting areas, etc. The room furniture and bathroom areas were a little outdated. The indoor pool area was very nice, clean and convenient. The restaurant staff were very attentive, pleasant and adorable. Breakfast was excellent everyday. Lunch and dinner was okay but the food could […] be better. The room quilt/covers had tiny black hairs on it. I had read about it in another review but didn't believe it until I saw it. The hotel was very old and the staff was not very pleasant. I was disappointed with the room. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept on. The hotel was also very noisy and housekeeping kept knocking on my door starting at 730am!! I went to get some ice & soda and both had run out so i was told to walk to the third floor and get some!!!!!!!!! […] Do not recommend this hotel. Continua a leggere

I truly didn't like this hotel. The beds had black hairs and other little pieces of whatever on it. The sleep-number thing they advertise strongly didn't work, the TV had all colors imaginable and then some, the toilet flooded the bathroom, etc.pp

Staff was friendly and hotel lobby/ bar nice. Complained about noise from a party and nothing was done about it until 3am. There aren't any restaurants close by so we had to drive a couple miles. The rooms were a little dirty and could use a deep cleaning.

The hotel is well maintained. It has a nice lounge and convenient restaurant in the lobby. It is in a safe area of town and close to a mall and several good restaurants.

Nice hotel. Staff friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean and comfortable. Food good (not great but good enough for the location and price). I We experienced no problems. Ample hot water and comfortable beds. In short, a recommended venue.

the heated pool area was quite chilly. sleep number bed left us more sore than when we fell asleep. i guess we didn't get our number right

The hotel and room was great!

The hot water was seldom available. The shower curtain rod was not secured properly and the bathroom faucet was not secure in the vanity. This was not a pleasant experience.

For those who are looking to go to Philly for sightseeing in Center City, this hotel isn't the most convenient. However, for those who just need a place to stay in the area or are doing things in NE Philly, this hotel is perfect. The pool was clean and the pool room was amazing. Our hotel room was very clean and comfortable, and our friends had a full […] suite that was quite large and comfortable as well. Check in was as expected. The Library Bar in the hotel had reasonably priced drinks and food. Morning room service breakfast was reasonably priced (for a hotel, anyway) and tasted fine. Continua a leggere

This hotel is in convenient location. Rooms are acceptable. Exercise room is very small. Indoor pool is OK. Plenty of parking. Staff very helpful. Priced right for the city. I would go back.

This is a wonderful property. The staff is very attentive and responds quickly to your needs. Everything is comfortable and clean--no bedbugs! Philadelphia's historic district is a short drive from this location.

In general I was happy with the hotel. There is a decent breakfast buffet for 11 dollars int he morning, but it closes at 10. There is a pool that never gets used and looks like a scene out of COD4, but it was clean so that's fine. Shower never ran out of hot water (of course i wasn't there during the season). My only beefs are the following: 1.) The […] pool area has no shower or bathroom. 2.) No restaurants in walking distance from the hotel, besides the one in the hotel, but it closes at 10. 3.) The smoking area is outside, facing the entrance to the lobby. So as you walk out of the hotel to your car, the first thing you always see is a bunch a people smoking. Kinda trashy. 4.) Service at the atrium bistro is hit or miss - One night they gave me my french onion soup in a real bowl, the next night (a different person was up front) they gave it to me in a miniature Styrofoam crappy bowl. Guess which one i tipped more. 5.) Not enough wheeled luggage racks. I had to steal one from outside someone else's room to leave the next morning. Continua a leggere

hotel was nice and service ok - AC in room was a little to noisy for me and the sleep number bed was uncomfortable. couldn't find the right setting for me! Location was good and near Parx casino, where I was working for the week.

Second time at this hotel and like the 1st stay everything was great. Great value for such a nice hotel. Indoor/outdoor pool clean & not too crowded. Clean rooms, nice staff for a quick stay. Only 12 minutes away from Sesame Place, close to Walmart, Target & 711.Check out Fat Jack's BBQ while ur there for the best BBQ...

Hotel & room was very clean and very quiet. Even with all of those parents & kids around we did not hear any noise and slept well at night. Pool was nice. Short 10 minute drive to Sesame Place and plenty of restaurants in between for any dining taste. The mini refrigerators are on "request-only", and we were able to get one, but we had to ask for it […] when we arrived, even after having called them and making the request before hand. It would've been nice to have it in the room when we checked in (like we were told it would be done if one was available), since clearly one was available, but only after we asked for it during check-in. Check-in was fast and easy. Hotel staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean although it had a slight smell to it that's noticable as you walk in. The bed had sleep number which didn't work. Therefore the bed was kind of firm. Overall the hotel is good for the price.

We chose this hotel because of the convenience btw Sesame place and Philly. Beautiful lobby and friendly service. nice rooms. Could have been a bit cleaner, noticed they dripped dirty mop water all over the bathroom floor and reused dusty cup covers.
