Posizionato ottimamente su temple bar quartiere pieno di pub e molto giovanile. Piccolo neo e' il nightclub dell'albergo che fa musica fino alle 2.30 ma, vi assicuro che difficilmente tornerete prima. Posizionato e collegato benissimo e simpatico il cocktel di benvenuto da prendere nel pub dell'albergo! Hotel conosciuto on zona. Veramente ottimo

Hotel in posizione eccellente, in pieno centro storico di Dublino. Si trova sopra ad un night club e ad un pub, quidni può essere un po' rumoroso il venerdì e sabato notte. Noi eravamo al quarto piano su 5 e non ci ha dato fastidio. Colazione irlandese abbondante. Semplice ma pulito con camera e bagno grandi.

l'hotel si trova nel pieno centro di Dublino il quartiere in cui è situato e sede delle maggiori attrazioni della città. I pub della zona sono i migliori con grandi possibilità di scelta. Per i giovani in vacanza è senz'altro un'ottima scelta, l'hotel inoltre ha al suo interno un bellissimo pub caratteristico, con musica dal vivo tutte le sere. The rooms are minimal (tile floor, no pictures, "ok" beds, small bathroom)... but honestly, this was perfect for us, as we were really only looking for a nice place to sleep. We were out on the town and in the surrounding pubs, and the location is incredible. So, overall we were very satisfied with it. Free internet was nice touch, too! Sound (from […] street and hallways) was a little bit of an issue... but even-still, I would recommend it with the caveat that it is "no frills". (With the number of "party goers" they must host, the non-carpeted, low maintenance rooms are probably a must for them.) Continua a leggere

This hotel is perfect for those desiring nights out in Temple Bar, wanting to walk through Dublin City Centre by foot or getting to places that enable you to travel further by train, bus or travel groups. Staff was delightful and the one woman I met who tended to my room was very thorough and ensured my room was well taken care of.

We had a very enjoyable stay. A great location in the centre of Temple Bar, loads of good restaurants nearby. Clean, pleasant staff. Great value for money. We'd stay there again.

Great location near the Temple Bar area. Clean hotel with nice rooms. The room did have a "cold" feeling to it due to a lack of carpeting and rom decor but overall it was fine.

Hotel was perfect for our short stay in Temple Bar. The hotel is right in the middle of it all and close to all that Temple Bar has to offer. The room was good with fairly comfy beds and the bathroom was clean and tidy, What you'd expect for the price and location. The VAT bar attached to Blooms is also a very nice pub. Probably one of the nicest pints […] of Guiness in the surrounding pubs. We have stayed in Temple bar area 6 times previously and would definitely go back to Blooms. Didn't have much to do with hotel staff as we were in and out a lot but the lady on reception at check in was very nice. We arrived about 1pm and were allowed to check in immediately even though booking said after 3pm. Continua a leggere

Excellent location and good value. No drink making facilities in room and can be noisy as popular bar below. However, everyone friendly and room clean and adequate for short stay needs.

An excellent location with an excellent bar serving bar meals..... A very helpful and pleasant waitress (Ann Marie)... She should get a pay rise!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, however the overall standard of the rooms was unacceptable compared to other comparable hotels that I have stayed it. The very dated fittings & decor let Blooms Hotel down. My review is based on the following experiences; 1) The first room that I was given was small & dated with no carpet on the floor which […] is not ideal in a very cold January day. 2) I was promptly given a family room as I had requested to be given another room, again with no carpet!. Within 1 hour I had to ring reception as there was no hot water. 3) The room was very noisy, although there was no night club on that night, just a live band. 4) The next evening the radiator in the room stopped working and I was promptly moved to a room on the 4th floor as the maintenance engineers had left for the evening. 5) The room that I was moved to did have a carpet but it was very, very ,dirty stained and unhygienic. The enamel was peeling off the very dated bath and was cracked. I refused to bath in it & opted for the shower instead. When I turned the radiator on it was caked with dust at the top & just behind and obviously not been dusted for some time. I am well traveled and I have stayed in many hotels around the word and I have never thought to write a review before. I feel a bit cheated by this one. I did not even bother speaking with the duty manager as the only think that would have satisfied me would have been a full refund or move accomodation and I did not want to send my time in Dublin discussing which of the 100 rooms have been 'refit' as there was no evidence of this in the three that I went into. Blooms hotel is accessible to everything you need.. Shopping, nightlife, food, adventure and interesting spots. It's a value for money plus there's a complimentary drink upon arrival in the bar. A warm, and cosy hotel. Highly recommended!

not too many hotels offer you a free round of drinks on arrival but thats what we got . lovely touch to start an evening . very friendly and efficient staff , the hotel was beautifully decorated for christmas which added to the great atmosphere in the whole temple bar area . even when things are quieter this hotel is highly recommended for a long or […] short stay . I had stayed in Blooms quite a number of years ago but it has changed a lot. While the location is excel- lent for my needs, I was very disappointed at the poor quality and choice of the (one) bar food; at the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom (my elderly friend was very annoyed because this facility is available in the remotest B&Bs […] in Ireland and all hotels we usually stay in); there was NO place to put wash bags and belongings in the bathroom; the shower was trickling water. As we needed a hot drink we contacted the reception who put us through to the bar. After we placed our order, a call came through to say that 1) hot chocolate was not available in the bar; 2) the barman was on his own and so was the receptionist, so they could not bring us up the order (with a 5euro charge!). It was late and changed into easy clothes, so not prepared to get dressed again to go downstairs. With some persuasion, one person delivered tea and coffee AND DID NOT CHARGE US THE 5euro. The room was stark and the bath had cracks. There was no restaurant and we, my friend and I, thought that the Oliver StJohn Gogarty was the name of the Blooms Hotel bar and restaurant!! The only restaurant there was for breakfast.... The staff was very kind and pleasant. We never saw any one in the restaurant or the bar; it was like a ghost place.My friend has dif- ficulty walking because of a knee problem and we chose Blooms for its location and the good memory we had of it. The charge for 2 days was good but did not include breakfast!! Very little needs to be done in order to make a stay in this hotel much more pleasant. I regularly stay in hotels and the level of accommodation facilities is higher than in Blooms. I would go back though. Thank you for the opportunity you give to comment on your hotel. Placed in the middle of Temple Bar district and walking distance to alle the shopping streets. Friendly staff, good and clean room. Be aware of noise from the Temple Bar district duringthe night. Breakfast at the hotel is average but 3-4 euro more expensive compared to local cafees. The hotel is definitely worth a stay for a weekend in Dublin.

Fint och trivsamt med stor bar längst alldeles nedanför. Trots det centrala läget så är det välisolerat och ganska varmt i vintertid. Tyvärr var det dålig fart på duschen. Tog en timme att fylla ett badkar ungefär. Annars trevlig personal och rent på rummet.

I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. What I didn't realize before booking Blooms Hotel was that there is a quite nice pub on the first floor where you can get a complimentary pint. Enjoyed our stay, actually stayed there twice during our trip to Ireland. First stay, carpet was really dirty. and the windows didn't open. Second stay room was renovated and immaculate. One practise that surprised me was we returned to the Hotel after an evening with friends and after 12:00 a.m. they were not permitted into our Hotel Room for a nightcap […] ??? Guess I'm used to bigger Hotels without these restrictions. LOVED the Vat House and the Staff there, great food ! Front desk staff were good to us as well. Would return and recommend to others. really awesome hotel...affordable in a great location, the rooms were extremely clean and the staff was super nice.....the VAT restaurant/bar that is in the hotel was also great - awesome food! highly recommend this place and would totally go back again.

This hotel was rightnext to Temple bar it had a wide choice of restaurants and tourist spots close by. It was clos to transport links and the staff were helpful. Some were not so helpful , for example thinking there personal phone calls were more important than helping me with queries. the best part about this hotel is the decent sized rooms and bathroom. […] My shower did nto close up completely though. The breakfast is very expensive and if you leave the hotel and turn right and right again behind the bank of Ireland there is a similar breakfast for half the price outside urban outfitters. Dublin is expensive so this is a real find. The city has a lot of culture and history, it is fun and people are friendly and Blooms hotel with its own pub next door is a great place to start discovering it from. Continua a leggere

I stayed here on a work night, and it was not a good idea. The room had a balcony overlooking the entrance to the hotel, and the music from the bar was quite loud, and could be heard clearly.

Very friendly staff, we asked for a late check-out time and it was no problem. Food in restaurant was lovely. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Location was excellent and great value for money.

This hotel is in a GREAT location. Walking distance to almost all sites in Dublin. They were very strict about only letting in hotel guests after a certain time, they lock the doors ect. so I had a good sense of safety. My only complaints were the room was not as clean as I would have liked for it to be. There were used (empty) shampoo bottles in the […] shower from the previous guest. Also, if you like a quiet area you may want to choose something outside of temple bar area. There are many bars and this is more of the party spot. I could hear people outside at all hrs of the night. and the walls are quiet thin, I could hear the people in the halls and rooms next to us talking, baby crying ect. one of the best hotels in dublin for walking distance to temple bar, trinity college and all the amenities. not in centre of temple bar so you can get a good nights sleep. has its own bar and nightclub also. i would recommend this to anyone. and i am a native of Dublin, i will stay here again when i go home again.

The hotel is a budget hotel without question, and I was prepared for that. But what bothered me was it simply was not clear. Huge dark stains all over the carpet, dirty looking furniture and a bed that looked 50 years old and was incredibly slumpy and lumpy. This hotel is ok, the rooms are quite nice, but the hallways etc are very dated. No wireless internet in the room but there is in reception. very loud at the weekend, and was woken up by loud guest as you can hear everything happening in the hall. The room was way too warm and had no a/c, and it was too loud to leave the window open. I had to pay a […] 50 euro security deposit on check in, which I wasn't too pleased about. This hotel is in a great location in temple bar. Easy to get to by bus from the airpoet. Staff were very helpful I would stay there again

This hotel is situated in Temple Bar, in the middle of where the action is. The bar in the hotel was a must see with great entertainment. The room was big and comfortable. The carpets needed cleaning though.

overall happy with the hotel staff and location. only negative for us was our room was situated at the back of the hotel which was close to extraction fans and beer garden/smoking area which caused alot of noise.

I have rated the hotel on the amount that we paid for it. My rating doesn't reflect on a Ritz hotel but we certainly got good value and it provided what it says on the tin. If you don't want to be in the hub of Dublin then book the country side. Perfect location for the crack, happy friendly staff, clean rooms would certainly stay here again. Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, room was nice and very clean. Excellent location, right in the heart of temple bar. Very noisy til early hours as there is a disco located under the hotel. Staff very helpful. Would stay here again as it was value for money.

This was a very good deal for me. The cost wasn't too bad and the location was convenient to restaurants, pubs and tourist sites. The only caution is that the Temple Bar area is "where the night life action is"! So, if you stay at this hotel, try to get onto one of the top floors, but it will still be noisy even on the 4th or 5th floor. The staff is […] very helpful and things in the room all worked well.
