Centralissimo,con il tram n°9 vai ovunque ,a piedi con un po di pazienza puoi girare tranquillamente tutta la citta dall' hotel.Verra applicata la tassa comunale a sorpresa ma e' di poco contoLo consiglio davvero.Nota negativa camere un po strette(in doppia)

In posizione strategica per raggiungere sia a piedi che con i tram le attrazioni maggiori della città. Ottimo hotel moderno e buon servizio. Non conveniente la colazione, me ci sono tantissimi caffè nelle immediate vicinanze. Lo consiglio vivamente.

In a wonderful position, really close to every attraction, the hotel had an outstanding quality/price rate. It's only a bit obsolete but anyway really nice.

Hotel confortevole e soprattutto situato in una zona comodissima dove poter raggiungere tutti i principali centri della città.

The hotel was clean, nice, the staff friendly and helpful, especially the Concierge. The location was great, within walking distance of many restaurants, and things to see in Amsterdam.

I will stay with the Eden at future visits. Clean, personnel that went out-of-their-way to get answers and accomadations for sights and events.

Close to places of interest.

Hotel was nice and clean. Location was excelent. Short walk to every where. There is also canalbus platform near the hotel. Beds were comfortable. Only problem was that we asked and odered room with two beds and we got "one" bed room. room was cheap and I only wanted a 1 night quick stop over however I could not set my bag anywhere but the bed and then had to move it to go to bed very small room, had to squeeze past the toilet to get to the showever, that said it was clean. This property has two hotels back to back. The Eden and the Hampshire. I was given a room for one on the top floor of the Hampshire, from which I could see Rembrandt square. The Eden side of the hotel is on the banks of the Amstel across from the Opera. Room, modern European with standard amenities (safe, minibar, flatscreen TV, toiletries) and very […] comfortable bed (again just big enough for one person). It took me about fifteen minutes to walk from the central train station and took five minutes to get back there on the tram. The hotel staff was friendly and very professional. Free wifi and a computer station with printer is located in the lobby. An excellent breakfast buffet can be prepaid for at check in at a discounted rate. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel, but there are plenty of great places and prices to choose from right outside. Would recommend this place to anyone for any reason. Continua a leggere

The only plus was that there was a room available during Easter weekend. I am not one who expects a lot of amenities, but I would consider cups for drinking, rinsing after brushing, etc, as standard. Overall, Amsterdam is expensive, rude and hard to navigate, and this hotel provided a prime example.

The room was very small, but had a rather comfortable bed and enough space for all our clothes. A bit too small bathroom though, and the door to the shower did not quite close. Why was there a glass door to the bathroom, that let all sounds out? Great breakfast buffet, great location. I'd recomend a stay!

We have two baggages but cannot find suitable space to place it. I need to jump over it...... For toilet, one word "small". It is an expensive hotel, with small toilet, small room, no breakfast......

suprice when we hade to pay extra for city tax. Otherwise ok even if the elevator engine was summring during day time. They close the elevator for the night (or the engine) because we didnt hear the sound att night. Siunds traveld easy in this hotell så you could hear everything and everybody in the hallway. 15e per breakfest/day was a litle bit high […] but the food was ok. I felt welcome and relaxed in the hotel. In the reception area I had WiFi and TV while the drinks were reasonably priced. All the staff I met were helpful and polite. There were plenty places to eat in the area of the nearby Rembrandt Square and a tram stop was close. I would return to this hotel without hesitation. Good location adjacent to Rembrandt Square (beautiful Starbucks on the square); easy to get anywhere in the City. The bathroom was nice, newly renovated. Like a lot of European hotels; they need to catch up to their American counterparts and fully implement wifi that works in all the rooms effectively. Had to lug the laptop to the lobby for service... Watch […] out for the stated shuttle fare to the airport. The hotel tells you it is a flat rate but the driver charges you for any traffic delays on top of the stated fare. Shady deal there... The two best aspects of the hotel are the location which is 10 mins walk to Niuewmarkt and is actually pretty quiet. Also the reception and bar are very modern and clean. The rooms are below average - small, in need of redecoration and the carpets are very hard and worn. You do get a safe FOC which is nice but the bathroom is not designed for anyone […] over 6ft. Admittedly space is at a premium in Amsterdam but some decent sound proofing would help. Sat night we were kept awake by a club about 3 doors away which clearly woke all the local mice as well considering the scurrying around that took place between floors. Sun night was much quieter. I really liked the vibe of this hotel. Yes, the rooms are small (some larger than others - I recommend you ask). There's only wireless in the main lobby / lounge, but it's a really nice place to chill so I wasn't too bothered by this. the Eden is in the old town section overlooking the Amstel River and five minutes from Rembrandt Square. The location couldn't be better. Breakfast is a bit pricey (Euro 17/although they had a special at 15) but was very substantial. Concierge was very helpful. Would certainly stay there again.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel itself is nicely presented with a good bar and friendly staff and it is located in a great location only a short walk from Damplat (sic). There are plenty of good places to eat and drink nearby although a lot of them are English/Irish themed bars. Enjoyed four nights here. Staff friendly, room clean and comfortable and great location

Thel location of the hotel made it easy to find the reception is 24 hrs which was great as we arrived at 11.45 pm . The staff were very helpfull and polite and thier english was excellent . The room was clean and facilites modern the bed large and comftable the only negitive NO KETTLE .

When my partner and I arrived at this hotel we were greeted at the desk with an upgrade to an apartment in the building adjacent to the hotel free of charge, a huge surprise neither of us were expecting! So we spent out weekend in a gorgeous, open plan living space with kitchen, lounge, diner, and of course bedroom and bathroom. Our room also had a […] separate entrance to the hotel so we needn't pass through every time we returned in the evening. Evidently I cannot review a room within the hotel but the lobby was very impressive looking and I guess the rooms inside will live up to the same standard, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone, purely for the chance of a free, unexpected move to a beautiful apartment overlooking the river! The Eden Hotel Amsterdam - Hampshire Eden is in an excellent location right on the Amstel canal and 200m from the lovely Rembrandt square which is full of bars/resturants. All the main sights (Museums/Train station/Shopping) are within 20 minutes walk of the hotel and the tram can be taken from Rembrandt square if you want to go further afield. On my first trip to Amsterdam I spent 3 nights at the Eden and found it to be a very nice hotel. Location is excellent, staff are very friendly and room and communal areas were modern and clean.

Good Points: * It’s in a great location 5 stops from dam square * It’s quite a nice hotel, clean and doesn’t smell * The Arabica lounge coffee shop is round the corner (amnesia haze) * Club Escape is round the corner along with a whole host of other great bars & Clubs. * Air conditioned rooms * Clean towels daily * Some of the rooms on the 3rd floor […] get Wi-Fi which if you get it, is totally free. (great for what’s app, BBM, Facebook etc.) * You will smile when you see the building inside and walk the corridors, you will end up walking the wrong way. Bad points: * Some of the twin rooms are rather cramped * Our bathroom was the size of your average uni en-suite (cramped and small) * We had a wonderful view of the wall! Not all the rooms face the canal opposite. * Beds in the twin rooms are a pain to separate as they next to each other. Conclusion: Great hotel close to all the top attractions, one of the best clubs is round the corner from the hotel, one of our favourite coffee lounges around the other corner. I was lucky to get a free upgrade with an "executive room" with a nice view of the canal, and I believe this side of the hotel is also more quiet, as it doesn't have all the bars as the opposite side of the hotel. The room itself was shaped pretty odd, and the bathroom is the smallest I ever experienced, it was extremely narrow and barely any space […] to move there. From the airport you can buy a ConneXion bus ticket straight to the hotel, but actually taking the normal train to "Centraal Station" and then grabbing line 9 of the tramps is almost as convenient (and faster!) and there is a tramp stop less than 2 minutes walk from the hotel. I wouldn't mind going to Eden again, as the location is really convenient and close to many attractions of Amsterdam. Continua a leggere

Relatively low price, good quality

We arrived late evening and had asked for a quiet room. Our room was on the ground floor with a great view (overlooking the canal) but was close to the road and was very noisy when cars went by. In the morning we asked to move rooms and the reception staff were very helpful and moved us to a much better room on the 5th floor. This is a good hotel, in […] an excellent location. The only negative comment would be that we had to pay for a kettle for our room so we could have tea etc in the morning as breakfast wasn't included. This hotel is located right at the Rembrandtsplein tram stop, central to most city attractions. The staff were extremely helpful, with good restaurant recommendations and even tickets to some events. Bike taxi from Leidseplein where many music clubs are was 10 euros. The housekeeping service was very good and they even brought me a toothbrush and paste, […] which I had forgotten.
