Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better in the financial district. The beds were excellent, as well as the pillows ( Important!). We had a room with a view of the Freedom Tower, and future memorial which we appreciated, and found the construction site interesting. We did not use the lobby bar or restaurant, so no input there. I did find the lobby […] to be rather constricting, especially waiting in line to check in. When there is a line, you would think they would send more employees out. Also the two bathrooms in the lobby (when waiting for the car) were not well kept. Too small, and not clean. Valet parking, especially for a truck were outrageous. "Close to major landmarks"
I stayed at the Millenium Hilton in April 2013 and had a very wonderful time there. I requested for a room facing away from the WTC site to avoid construction noise. The reception staff told me that since the property developers are now building on the site, the noise that many of the hotel's guests had encountered back in 2011 no longer exists. However, […] he was very accommodating and gave me a room which faced away from the construction site and had a beautiful view of the Hudson River and bridges connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn. Other hotel staff were also friendly and helpful, and attended to my requests in a timely manner. I was able to walk to a number of attractions that were within a close vicinity to the hotel and restaurants serving various types of cuisines. Also, the fact that the hotel was right next door to a department store didn't hurt either...! I will definitely stay at the Millenium Hilton again when I go back to Manhattan. "Excellent! Will return!"
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel in general and the rooms were cleaned regularly and were well maintained. The hotel's restaurant is a bit expensive, but there are numerous resonably priced restaurants nearby. There are two subway stations in front of the hotel and several other's close by. Millenium is a crisply run top quality big city hotel. No problems with staff, service, room, etc. Problem is with Hilton as a corporation. They refused to give me points because I did not book through them directly. I tried, but their web site was down, so I booked with you. "everything was perfect until................"

Hotel was very nice, rooms a little small but comfortable. When we first got into our room, our daughter found a half eaten tuna sandwich in the mini fridge, kind of gross. Over all, a nice stay.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Convenient for WTC"
Our room looked over the construction site of the World Trade Center Memorial. The walk to the site is very short. If the site is not one's destination, the subway is across the street and it is only one train to Time Square or Lincoln Center. "Great hotel"
This is a well-appointed, extremely comfortable hotel. Would stay again. Only drawback is the location - far from uptown. But...it did force us to learn how to use the subway.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Try something different"
The hotel was great. My wife and I spent the night there to get away. Room was clean, service was great. The location is only 7-10 blocks from Chinatown/Little Italy. The room view was the 9/11 site. Great view of the Freedom Tower. The negative is that there is no street parking and the hotel charges $55/night parking.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

A nice hotel, especially for the rate we got it at (less than $200/night including tax). The hotel is right across from the WTC memorial and all the new construction... that could be a plus or minus I suppose. Incredibly easy access to the subway that's right out front. We requested a corner room on a high floor and the views were stunning. The room […] itself was nice. The only problem with the room was the lack of A/C. Our room faced southeast, and during a mild spring day (about 55 degrees out) the room started to bake in the sun. The A/C couldn't keep up with the heat, even with the windows closed. The fix-it guy the hotel sent up basically said "yeah, it's a huge problem with this hotel... during the winter the pipes only supply heat or ambient air, nothing cool. So if you're on a south side during the winter and it's not a cold day out, the rooms get too warm". I got the impression that the building is one of those older designs that switches over from hot to cold at a certain point of the year... who knows. Something has to happen because the room would be unlivable during the summer months without A/C. All in all, would definitely stay here again, especially for the rate we got... provided the A/C worked! Continua a leggereRecensioni obiettive Hotels.com
