We stayed at Hotel Sacher for 2 nights in a junior suite. Everyone at the hotel was wonderful .Thank you.

Thisis a superb hotel in a very convenient position. Staff were very helpful and obtained tickets for us to otherwise "Sold Out" events. The Hotel also arranged for us to attend the KaiserBall on New Year's Eve at the Hofburg Palace. This was an amazing "once in a lifetime" experience which we would not have known about except for the hotel staff advising […] us when we booked. Well... serious mixed feelings. I travel a lot, always 5star hotels. Spend the last 14 days travelling in Europe, only in 5*hotels, so easy to compare... About the room: my room was not a 5* room. Not by far. I stayed in Sacher last week (april 2011), room 208. Unfortunately, still one of the 'old' rooms. They are redecorating now, and I can only say: […] they started to late... About room 208: 1. One of the plastic-kind curtains was torn completely on the side 2. very very small tv, no entertainment system 3. very unconventient bathroom: not much space to put toothbrush, razors,... NO separate shower: tip for management: try standing in the bathtub and then unfold the horrific plastic screen in order to shower. Try it! Don't recommend that on anyone over 50... I have to say, seen pics of the new rooms, and they look fine, not to say: very, very nice! but... that is not where I stayed, so I can only comment on my room, and I'm afraid room 208 is more of a good 3* hotel, or might be a 4*, but certainly NOT 5*. Sorry! About the rest of the hotel: Well... did not see many businessmen, mostly elder couples celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime-experience. They propably give high ratings cause maybe they are easier to please or they have less other hotels to compare with. It is all very 'posh'... If you arrive on a weekend (like I did, stayed till wednesday), be sure to bring a suit or a toxedo, cause otherwise, you might feel a bit out of place... They have two restaurants, all in the very well known 'old grandeur' style. Went to the red one (at the front). At first, being alone I did not feel so comfortable going there: like I said, not much bussinesmen, but mostly couples enjoying a romantic-but-very-formal evening. But I have to say: the maitre was very friendly, so were the waiters, and the food & champagne was super!!!! Breakfast is also in one of the very formal rooms. Understated luxury of an old Grand Hotel. The feeling you would expect from an Imperial city as Vienna. Loved this hotel. Excellent experience. Location is perfect and the room was beautiful. Great service. But no late check out...I wish we could have stayed for a much longer period.

I have stayed at the Sacher before for business but never on vacation. I thought it might be too stuffy for a family trip but I was wrong. I stayed at the Sacher with my two teenage daughters. All of us had a great time. The staff was very considerate of their many questions. Great location Old world class

We spent 4 nights at the Hotel Sacher Wien and we loved !! THe location could not be better , it was exactly accross from the Opera House and walking distance from all the major attractions. The service was excellent and the room was large and confortable. The Hotel is very traditional and classic, to be honest a little rococo for my taste. Althought […] the bedroom size were large the sitting area and lobby downstairs were quite small . We had dinner one night and the food was just OK . What I like also was the fact that we had asked the concierge to buy us ballet tickets "The Swan Lake" and he told us that it was sold out but for us not to give up , to go there one hour before the performance and try to buy tickets, we did that and were fortunate to buy a set of the best tickets to see one of the most beautiful ballets ever ! Perhaps the best hotel in Vienna over time, the Sacher did not disappoint us. The staff was friendly and efficient. They got us symphony tickets and offered good advice. All-in-all, this was an enjoyable experience. Of course, with the Euro where it is, it's not a cheap hotel. wonderful service. one warning: internet is expensive!!!

Hotel Sacher was a fantastic springboard from which to explore Vienna. The location, immediately across from the Opera House, was fabulous and we had no trouble walking to or tramming to various locations around the city. Some special ideas: Dinner in the Summer Palace 'Bird' Garden a block and a half to the right of Hotel Sacher -- looks like just […] another outdoor bistro, but GREAT grilled fish and meats!; a visit to the Arsenal (Heeresmuseum) on the D-tram just a 1/2 block from the hotel; FABULOUS concert at the Musikverein (Goldener Saal) worth every penny; the Museum of Natural history (about a 5 minute walk) and the open air 'dinner stalls' at the Rathaus Platz during August (maybe also other times)-- about a 10 minute walk. Truly wonderful. Quick tip: Sometimes the first Austrian answer it geared toward tourists ... suggest to the concierge that you'd like to explore stuff off the beaten track and they will think it through for you. Upscaled hotel and service. Excelent everything, no clock in the room.

Äusserst gastfreundliche Mitarbeitende ohne Ausnahme. Sensationelles Frühstücksbuffet. Ausgezeichnete Küche im Restaurant. Rundum perfekt.

Fantastiskt!

仕事、音楽鑑賞に度々訪れていた都市ではあるが、今回初めてザッハーに滞在した。今回は記念イベントであったため、雰囲気、サービスの点で満足した。特に、国立オペラ座、買い物街はじめ隣接する地の利便性にも恵まれている。 費用対効果については、効果は高いが費用の方も嵩むので、誰でも何時でも滞在できるホテルとして適当か否かについては断定しがたいが、結婚、卒業、金婚など特別なイベントの場合には最適と思う。

Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Zimmer auf den beiden obersten Etagen. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück.

歴史のあるホテルながら設備は最新で、バスルームでもテレビ視聴が可能でした。あえて一つ言うとしたら、ネットワーク（有料）を使用する場合、１日もしくは１時間単位なのですが、都度 電話でIDとパスワードを取得しなければならないところが面倒でした。それ以外はお部屋もサービスも文句なしです！伝統のある落ち着いたホテルですので、あまりカジュアルすぎる服装でない方が良いと思いました。

Hotel Sacher ia an excellent place to stay for a visit in Wienna. It has very good service, a high standard and a sentral location for visiting the attractions in the city center. Because of it`s history it even is an attraction itself.

Hotellet håller mycket hög klass, service förstklassigt, lugnt och tyst på hotellet. Inte ett "håll igång ställe" utan om man bara vill njuta av atmosfären av ett gammalt klasshotell. Helt underbar SPA avdelning med tre olika bastun (ört, ånga och finsk), underbara behandlingar och relax. Ett toppen ställe som vi kommer återkomma till.
