la pulizia e la cortesia è stata molto apprezzata...la camera piccola ma essenziale per chi ci deve solo dormire...usciti dall'hotel si ha disposizione un supermarket,tabacchino,bar,panificio,mc donals e la fermata della metrò a 10 metri con molteplici collegamenti...il cambio di lenzuola e asciugamani venivano effettuati ogni giorno...il quartiere […] di notte è abbastanza tranquillo...lo consiglio a tutti coloro che voglio visitare Parigi...prezzi abbordabili Continua a leggere

L'hotel si trova a 30m dalla metro e circondato da locali e di fronte si trova anche un mc donald's. Le camere sono veramente piccole ma per un soggiorno di 2\3 notti vanno benissimo. Andateci con delle persone con la quale avete molta confidenza,perchè in caso di rumori strani dalla stanza wc,si sentirebbe veramente tutto.Per il resto il rapporto qualità […] prezzo è molto buono. Good little hotel, great quaint courtyard between buildings 2 & 3 makes for quiet nights sleep. Only thing is they don't pay attention to the do not disturb signs.

Libertel Canal Saint Martin is close to both train stations Gare du Nord and Gare de L'Est. The metro Juares is very close. The location is good in 19e next to the canal and the La Rotonde at Place Stalingrad and a Monoprix supermarket and store a few doors up. Also the big but hilly park - Parc Buttes-Chaumont is close by at the eastern end of Av Secretan. The […] room we got was not big, but there are smaller hotel rooms for the price in Paris. The hotel is older but relatively clean, except in the bathroom there was mould and black stains in the ceiling and walls and some stains in the carpet visible. The room was also next to the courtyard, and even with the door and windows closed, the noise from other rooms were quite loud, and on Friday night music and loud talking did not stop until about 7-8 am. The service was very poor. The man at the check-in desk was rude - ignoring us for 10 minutes while he finished a phone call, and while we did not expect to check-in in the morning (our flight was early - and we were expecting to leave our bags until we could get a room), he was quite rude about the expected time we could check in. AFTER 2:30pm he barked. We got in at 10am, so happily took our bags to the basement level corridor to the dining room (there is no secure room to store bags) and left them there. After lunch we came back to the hotel at 1:45pm, and proceeded to sit on the couch in the foyer he looked up barked again "I told you AFTER 2:30!" as if we didn't understand him the first time. We hadn't even asked him whether a room was ready yet... The man at the desk the next morning was friendlier, but we had prepaid, so had little transaction with him the next day. Continua a leggere

Place is very modern, clean, new (feels new) and close to juarez train station where train 2 passes. I can't recommend more. Truly lots of the 2-3 star hotels in paris are old and looks like it's designed from horror movies but this is the one pleasant exception i have seen. Thumbs up

The location of this hotel is commensurate with its cost. There are hotels with better location but cost will increase. Reception is helpful and polite, speaks English. The room is small and cozy. The room we received had a window facing the courtyard. This is convenient during winter time as this becomes an MacGyver-ed refrigerator. On the same block […] is the Metro station (Jaures) and two supermarkets (Ed & Monoprix). Walk further down, there are more cafes, brasseries, and stores. Gare du Nord is 15 minute walk away. There were several gripes I had with the hotel. The room had no safe and there was a notice on the desk saying that if you leave any belongings in your room, the hotel is not responsible if they get stolen. (Who else would have access to the room?) The walls are very thin. You can hear clearly what people are saying in the room across from yours. Also you can hear everything that goes on in the courtyard. We found a dirty earplug in our room. The bathroom shower leaks onto the floor due to poor design. On our second night, as we came back to the hotel, we saw three people exiting our room, chatting, and having a laugh. One was a housekeeper, the other two were well dressed French gentlemen. They said they are inspectors from corporate, inspecting our room out of all the rooms that are empty. Highly suspicious. Nothing was stolen. Hotel elevator is old but functioning, mind the closing doors. If the doors close on you, it doesn't hurt, but its annoying since it closes so fast. If anything I described above did not disturb you, I recommend this hotel to you. Continua a leggere

We booked the hotel as a lastminute and it was okay. The staff was friendly. The room and the bed were small (140x200). The shower was very small, but really clean and with enough hot water. According to French standards, the breakfast is very good. You pay 8 or 9 euro's pp, but then you have a breakfast buffet, so you can eat as much as you want. If […] you make reservations, ask for a room at the backside of the hotel. No view, but less noice from the cars driving by. The neighboarhood doesn't bring you anything, so take the metro to the better areas. We didn't feel uncomfortable though. We reserved a parkingplace in "Stalingrad" for 30 euro's for 3 days. Very good price-quality ratio. Would need very slight reparations (shower) but overall a very nice and tidy hotel in a rather good part of the 19th arrondissement, with a reasonable pricing policy.

great hotel, very very very clean!!!! nice rooms, we had no complains at all!! i will definetly return to that hotel.

Room equipped with coffeemaker but tiny (<100 sq ft, low ceiling 7 feet or so), no cupboards or drawers, loo in closet, vent fans which may have worked but not visibly so. Good location 1 minute walk from Jaures metro on No. 5 line from Gard du Nord. Plenty of restaurants around, French and ethnic. Felt safe. Was convenient located for my late evening […] event. Very nice hotel. We had already booked another location for the week, and booked this last minute for our first night in Paris, but wish we had stayed the whole week. Great location, right accross the road from the canal and the metro. Cafes, bakeries, shops and a market all right outside. The hotel was spotless, very modern, and very comfortable. Well maintained (I think recently revamped?), very practical hotel providing easy access (via Metro) to all areas of the city (although make sure you have already purchased a travel pass as the nearest station, a 20 second walk away, did not provide a service to purchase one!). Short taxi ride from Le Gare do Nord. Plenty of nearby shops for day-to-day […] necessities. Hotel room we stayed in was small but well put together with a nice en suite with good shower. Very nice hotel - the staff were very helpful and courteous. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Paris.

For 2 stars this is a very good hotel: close to the subway and supermarkets, clean, friendly staff, parking available in a close distance (ask the hotel staff). The hotel rooms are a bit too small but we did not spend too much time there.

I didn't have high expectations because I got it very cheaply compared to others in the neighborhood. It did the basics well. It was clean, it had a working shower, toilet and air conditioning. I have just returned from Paris and whilst there I stayed at the Libertel Canal Saint Martin Hotel. The main driver in picking this hotel was that we wanted a cheap room somewhere close to the Metro. The room was ok, a little dated but clean with a good shower and a comfy bed. Two minutes down the road was the metro station Jaures. The metro was efficient […] and even though we were a little out of the city centre, after a short journey we could get to anywhere we needed to be. We did walk back one night after going clubbing; it was probably a 45 minute stumble back. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you too want somewhere cheap and in an ok location. This hotel was great for the price! The location puts you right next to the metro, which takes you anywhere throughout Paris. Also, you are just far enough away from the touristy areas to witness the true Parisian culture and to get some great French cuisine. After some disastrous experiences staying in other '2 star' hotels years ago I swore never to do so again. But then this trip we were only staying one night, and Paris was so expensive, I decided to risk it and am glad I did. The hotel has a 24 hour reception and is only about 15 minutes walk from Gare du Nord along busy streets - so it's fine if you're […] arriving on Eurostar late at night. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful in recommending where to eat. It was right near a metro station that was only 3 stops from Sacre Couer/Montmartre area so very convenient for that part of town. The rooms were small, yes, but not unbearably so. They were cleverly arranged - TV hanging on wall, shelves rather than nightstands, so there was still plenty of floorspace for our bags. The bed was comfortable and even though we had a room on 1st floor facing the street, the traffic noise did not bother me at all - I think the windows must have sealed it out. We had a lovely windowbox of geraniums too outside the window. The bathroom was spotlessy clean and modern, brightly tiled - far nicer than some 4 star places I've stayed even though it was small. The nicest touch was the kettle and sachets for coffee/tea in the morning which I hadn't expected, but were most appreciated! The hotel does offer breakfast which we didn't try as were meeting friends - but there is a boulangerie just a few doors away so you could always just grab a pastry on the go yourself - although if we'd had time we would have eaten at the hotel as it didn't cost much extra. The Libertel Canal Saint Martin is a decent place to stay but do not expect anything more than a basic accommodation experience. Rooms are small and walls are thin. Depending on where your room is, expect to hear a steady stream of other guests coming and going through the night. If you are a light sleeper keep this in mind. The rooms are NOT air […] conditioned. Heating is electric and seems to work well. Beds and rooms are generally comfortable and do the job. Our bathroom was almost as large as our room, but the shower leaked every morning and we found ourselves forming towel barriers on the floor to prevent flooding the room during showers. Our telephone didn't work, but WiFi internet service was available (1 hour for each night at the hotel we had booked and paid for). The neighborhood is not the nicest in Paris, with many beggars and homeless people around, but we never felt unsafe - just annoyed by the harassment at times. There are a few nice restaurants in the area - try Chez Papa on Rue LaFayette nearby. The hotel is around 30-40 minutes from the Louvre and other downtown sights on the Metro. Continua a leggere

Not a very nice hotel. Badly situated, noisy, unclean. No air conditioning and being on the groundfloor it was not in an area i would consider falling asleep with the windows open. I have never felt so stuck. Not wanting to go out after dark as i felt like i was going to be mugged everytime i left the hotel by the beggers that surround it. No nearby […] shops that are open to get snacks. I couln't even get a cup of tea before bed, only coffee. No facilities in the hotel and unelpful staff. This was one of the cheapest central hotels in Paris that I could find, so I was a little concerned as to whether its location would be ok etc. It was great, we were really pleased with it. The room was beyond tiny, and had only one electrical outlet, behind the desk (none in the bathroom). WiFi didn't work most of the time. The neighborhood was totally without charm (or good places to eat) and further than I expected from the things you go to Paris for. On the plus side it was very clean and staff were pleasant.

A good value 2 star hotel. Room was very small but clean. We were on the ground floor and were disturbed by laundry trolley noise in the early morning. We had breakfast in McDonalds opposite for less than the cost of one breakfast in the hotel. Metro is very close and all attractions can be reached easily. There are friendly bars and restaurants nearby and a supermarket a few shops along on the same side of the road as the hotel. A good place to stay for a few nights. Pros: Fun location, near the canals Hotel is nice enough, generally. Staff were quite nice. Cons: Wifi = constantly cut out to have to log back in. VERY annoying. Room was tiny. Bed was extremely worn on the "sit" side next to night stand, as in completely concave. Could hear EVERY door slam shut, all night. Like prison doors, awful.

Hotel est très bien placé, métro à 2 min. Chambre sans vraiment de charme, mais très confortables, propres et calmes. Personel très agréable. J'y reviens volontier lors d'un nouveau séjour à Paris

O hotel fica localizado em frente a estação Jaures, o que facilita muito a locomoção em Paris. Está servido de várias conveniências em seus arredores, mercado, restaurantes, padarias, lojas de câmbio, Mc Donalds, etc... Fui bem tratado, não tive nenhum problema com os serviços do hotel (limpeza, segurança, conforto) e indico para quem quer visitar Paris […] e ter um local de fácil acesso e bem confortável para descansar. Única dificuldade que encontrei foi com relação a estocagem das bagagens após o check-out pois eles não possuem um local fechado e disponibilizam um local aberto com câmera de vigilância, isto é, todo mundo deixa a bagagem lá mesmo e eu também deixei (não tive nenhum problema!). Não experimentei o café da manhã pois há várias opções nos arredores do hotel por preços bem mais interessantes. Vá também no restaurante ao lado do hotel na esquina (não me lembro o nome) que tem um Metri careca, muito simpático e gente boa, com preços bem acessíveis. Não tenha medo, arrisque no Libertel Canal Saint Martin que sua estadia será bem agradável e tranquila. OBS: eu me hospedei no Vila Cosy que fica no fundo do hotel e é muito tranquilo. Testé 2 chambres : très bon état. Hôtel calme, proche métro petit déjeuner copieux et bon (mais pas de charcuterie et oeufs)

O hotel possui um quarto bem pequeno, mas funcional com móveis novos, uma cama confortável e um banheiro espaçoso. A Internet é grátis e funciona muito bem nos quartos. Possui um supermercado vizinho que ajuda bastante nas compras diárias e um McDonalds em frente que é sempre uma alternativa nos dias de maior cansaço. Há muitos restaurantes e lanchonetes […] ao redor do hotel o que também ajuda bastante. E por fim, há uma estação do metrô a menos de 100 metros. Em resumo, indico o hotel para viajantes que queiram gastar pouco e não precisem de tanto espaço no quarto. Continua a leggere

Cercano al la estacion de metro Jaures, enfrente un Mcdonald, al lado panaderia, dia, monoprix, farmacia, y demas servicios. En cuanto a servicios cercanos muy bien. Al final de la calle muy cercano el parque Butte de Chaumont, agradable para paseos, a Montmartre. Pigalle andando se llega facilmente, eso si en horario diurno, porque por la noche, no […] muy aconsejable...Para mas andarines, se puede llegar andando a la ciudad de las ciencias donde se comtemplara la famosa Geoda de la Villete. leider waren die duschen sehr klein und in vergrautem zustand. es hat nach schimmel geschmeckt. gut war, dass es absolut ruhig war und die anbindung an den öv praktisch.

Dommage que le monsieur de l'accueil était glacial. Sinon, les chambres de la villa Cosy sont agréables et calmes.
