Ozark Mountain Inn Branson

This hotel was easy to get to without fighting all of the traffic on the main strip using the back entrance. Rooms were clean and cozy but the breakfast was a big disappointment. Anyone having trouble walking may want to avoid as the parking lot is very steep.

We arrived for our late check in to a note on the office door "be back shortly" Evidently there was only the night manager & no one else to assist with any problems. The indoor pool was in the lobby & our room was inside overlooking the pool. When we walked in the room was hot & humid. At first I thought oh they must have waited to turn the air on but […] in never got colder & there wasnt much air blowing out. I finally called and the manager came up & the unit was frozen, it must be pointed out that this was the SMALLEST air cond unit I have ever seen in a hotel. The room appeared clean & I could wait for a little bit for it to unfreeze & cool off. Then I picked up my 11 month old that had been running around the room...her knees, hands & feet were BLACK from the floor that had been vaccuumed but obviously NEVER shampooed. The bed was hard as a rock, the pillows & sheets had to have been the original ones from when this hotel opened. You could not pay me to ever stay there again! Continua a leggere

It is a very good hotel for the reasonable price. The location is very convenience, very close to all the theaters and restaurants.

We had a horrible experience at the Ozark Mountain Inn. We were in Branson Missouri for our wedding and honeymoon and booked the hotel for 4 nights. When we arrived at the hotel the parking lot was on the side of a huge hill, It was very difficult to park and carry in luggage. When we first arrived at the hotel, I needed to use the restroom. We asked […] if there was a public bathroom. The attendant at the front desk very rudely told us that there was no bathroom for us to use and we would have to just wait until we got to our room. The layout of the hotel was very awkward and the pool was in the middle of the main lobby with open balconies to the outside all around. Our room was on the 5th floor and when you walked on the upper balconies the traffic from outside the hotels made the floors shake. When we arrived in our room it was extremely outdated and smelled like a nursing home and also smelled smoky. The room looked unclean and nothing like the pictures we had seen online and especially not somewhere where we would want to spend our honeymoon. In the pictures on hotel.com, the room we booked had a large hot-tub in the room. Our room had no hot tub and the bathroom was very small with a tiny tub/shower. We were very disappointed and went to the front desk to talk to the management. All the hotel staff we dealt with that day were very unhelpful and in fact rude on several occasions. They had no customer service skills. We ended up having to pay for 2 nights and we went and stayed at another hotel down the road. Our minister stayed in the room for 1 night because we weren't using it. When we went back to check out for him the manager we talked to that day was much nicer and apologized for all we had to deal with. She was very friendly and sympathetic. The room was very clean, an the A.C. was amazing. The inside pool was awesome, But the outside pool not so much. The bed was very uncomfortable but a place to stay. The shower head neck kept coming out of the wall causeing a horrible noise while using it. But great location, and very friendly workers.

The rooms were clean, but the front desk staff were rude...Everytime we requested towels or washcloths we had to turn in what we had to get clean cloths. They were rude and not firendly at all!! Won't go back!!!!

This is a nice hotel for the price. Had a few dirty spots here and there but nothing too bad. Very Nice location but parking can be hard sometimes. I would have liked to have had a better breakfast selection; cereal, donuts, or instant oatmeal. I plan on staying here again on our next visit!

The parking lot entrance off of 76 is very steep incline, but it has a back exit off of Fall Creek Road which we found very convenient for avoiding all that traffic on 76. Clean room, nice staff- loved it!

the only thing I really thought was a knock against the stay was trying to get extra towels. you can use a deposit fom more, but what happened to the days of just getting a couple more if you need them. overall everything was great. would stay again. will just bring more towels from home lol

Upon pulling into the parking lot, we were greeted by a monster of a hill. It's a good thing our brakes were good while driving down to the office. Overall, the stay was good. No problems. The ice maker could have been a bit more efficient. And the office could have been better marked.

The hotel was a little older but was very comfortable. It was also very reasonably priced. The Dixie Stampede was just down the street a little ways. Other attractions were close by too.

Not happy with the pool hours. In a tourist town like Branson the pool should be open later. By the time we got back from shows it was later and pool was closed.

This hotel is the worst I've ever stayed in. The people are rude and very hateful. The employees look like they just got out of prison. In my room the air conditioner was broke and didn't cool the room. I woke up on my second night there and the bed was soaking wet from my sweat. We liked the location of the hotel and we weren't expecting a 4 star so it was worth what we paid for. I can say that the indoor pool can get loud but that really didn't bother us. The only complaint we had were the beds and pillows. OMG they were so hard and flat. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a cheaper rate.

it is centrally located to everything in Branson. Walking distance to a few places. Our room was 3rd floor poolside so there was a lot of noise (mostly kids) untill 11pm every night. The room was clean but it cost us and extra $10 per night for a refrig and microwave. No iron or hairdryer. There is cable but no hbo or anything like that. If you want […] to use their towels for the pool it is a $2.50 cash deposit per person for each towel. The towels in the room are thin and resemble sand paper. The Good: The indoor and outdoor pool. Also the fact they they stay open until like 10:45p!!! The room was pretty clean. The staff are very friendly. The Bad: The wireless internet....it was horrible.....I was really relying on that internet to get around Branson. Staff told me that they had just got a new system?? Stay if you got a good price. The beds are too firm for my taste & continental breakfast is basic. Staff are friendly helpful & pools are nice enough. Location helps you access side roads easily & is close enough to downtown to get there easily. TV's are little out of date but internet access works well.

Window A/C leaked condenser water I'm sick 2 days later. It may be mold humidity in room HIGH even with A/C on all day.

This hotel is in a very convenient location to everything you will want to do in Branson. The pool is nice. The beds were not very comfortable but most importantly, we took showers at night and wanted to take one in the morning and had no towels. When we asked for more towels they were out and implied that we must have used ours for the pool (which […] we did not). I would say you can find a better hotel for the same price. We wasn't in the hotel room very often but we did have clean linens, housekeeper came in every day to give us new towels and the most convienent thing was we had no steps to go up or down and the breakfast room was right around the corner. We thought the breakfast was going to be better, but we got by. Parking is hard because it is on a hill and if […] you park down below, you will have to walk the steep hill up to your room. The shows we went to see we had to drive to. We usually try to get in the middle of the shows so we could walk. With the traffic it is easier to walk. For those looking to stay in a luxurious hotel, look elsewhere. The room was clean, the staff were courteous, and the location was close enough to other attractions that we were able to walk some of the time. However, the decor seemed a bit dated, only one of our two keys/cards worked, and the breakfast options were limited (i.e., two cereal choices, […] instant oatmeal, english muffins, small bagels, cheap donuts, milk/O.J./coffee). The breakfast area is also very small, so if you go at the same time as other customers, you'll probably bump into each other and spill your food/drinks. If we go to Branson again, we will probably look for other good deals before choosing this hotel again. But for the price, it was about what we expected. Room had roaches and was not clean.

Overall we were very pleased with the room. However, the air conditioning seemed to have a glitch and did not work properly. Other than that we were extremely happy!

The Ozark Mountain Inn in Branson, Missouri was an excellent value. The hotel, room, swimming area, and parking area were extremely clean. All of the emplyees were helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Branson.

We enjoyed our trip to Branson, and the location of the Hotel was good, although the steepness of the parking lot was an inconvenience. The Hotel service was okay, but even trivial things like only having one iron for the entire Hotel to share can make your stay not as good as a person would hope. I also would like to say that the indoor pool is very […] noisy especially when the Hotel service would not make "certain" people follow the rules, and allowed young children to run "wild" with very little parental supervision. I also think the Hotel should post signs at the outdoor pool if you do not want anyone jumping into that pool as you have posted at the indoor pool. I probably would not recommend the Hotel to anyone unless you request a room facing the outdoor pool and not the indoor pool. The room was clean, and the cleaning service was there daily. On the plus side, the location was excellant. Perfect spot to bypass 76 and take the side routes. On the down side, seemed like everyone from the trailer parks showed up for the indoor pool, power went out for most of one night which made for a hot evening, killed "spiderzilla" in the bathroom and whoever cleaned the room while we were there left the […] full trash bag in the sink. We found that this motel was close to everything we wanted to do in Branson. It is not hard to find -- right on the highway that goes through town. We were almost next door to the Dixie Stampede. the motel is probably a bit older than others, but we found it to be clean and the service was good. The parking lot was ample but we found it easiest to drop […] off passengers at the front door and let one person park as the lot is very steep. It was also easier to come and go out of the back of the lot which allowed us to take advantage of a stop light to gain access to the highway in front of the motel. Nice pools... A little pricey... Not super clean room and the air conditioning barely worked... Decent breakfast... It was alright...

This is an older hotel. Our blanket was covered with lint and the carpet beside the bed had sunflower seeds on it. There was a slight musty oder in the room.

the location was great bc it was right off the strip. the people were nice and helpful anytime we needed something. the driveway was at a very steep angle. the rooms didnt come with a microwave or fridge but u could rent one for $5 each per day. the beds are very firm and uncomfertable. the pools werent maintained as well as they couldve been but the […] maids came everyday and we allways had clean towels. its a good hotel for the price and at a great location if you wanna have fun all day and just need a place to crash. After reading other reviews I was a little worried, and decided to give it a try anyways. The main entrance although quite steep did not cause any problems. There is an alternate entrance/exit if one is not comfortable with the entrance off 76. The room was clean, the air conditioning was adequate, the room has been maintained. The continental breakfast […] was nothing to write home about and could use some improvement. i.e more juice options, children-type cereal , liquid creamer for coffee. Donuts were nothing fancy and fresh. One morning they even had bacon. The indoor pool was gorgeous with a water fall and the hot tub was hot and did not have strong jets, it was relaxing still. We brought along our own beach towels since there is a deposit for them. The room towels were quite small and thin, and only supplied once a day, it did not create a problem for us, guess it could if you shower more than once a day. Over all, it is priced right for what it offers and I would say it is a medium no frill budget motel. You can walk to Dixie Stampede, and Legends, less than a block. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed only 4 days as had an emergency at home but they refunded our last days very promptly. Staff was fantastic. Located where all the action was going. Would they again as enjoyed quiet rooms & convenience.
