I would totally stay here again. The staff were amazing, very flexible and very helpful. Very friendly. Felt like I was staying at a relative's house. The hotel grounds were awesome too. Was right off a busy highway but felt like we were at a campsite. Rabbits on the patio, pine trees curtaining the yard, patio furniture open all hours of the night, […] was great. The rooms were outdated, a little dank, but for the price and location, no big deal. They were clean. WiFi is offered free but we couldn't connect. Continental brekafast was light and perfect. I thought the hotel was disgusting. After driving six hours to reach my destination,I check into my room to find that it stinks of cigarette smoke. the microwave is dirty,along with the refrigerator.There was mold growing in the freezer. Inform front desk of situation they said they would take care of it. Left room for a couple of hours. Return to room […] to find that they only cleaned microwave,refrigerator still dirty. Go to front desk ask for another room. They give us a room upstairs.Walk into room part of door frame comes off and hits me in head. This worked out very well for good & quiet night's rest during this strenuous cycling weekend in Vermont. The bed was very comfortable and the neighboring rooms were very quiet. Overall, the motel's facilities are a bit dated but the staff are great, rooms are clean & comfortable.

We only needed an overnight, this met our budget needs without sacrificing safety or comfort. While it is a little older and showing signs of wear, it was very clean. This is a decent budget motel. I've stayed here 4 or 5 times. Occasionally there is an issue (the walls seem kind of thin, the televisions aren't first rate) but it's a reasonable place to stay for a night if you get a good price.

We stayed just one night as we passed through town. Staff was friendly and accommodating. On check-in our non-smoking room smelled of smoke and we requested a change, which the staff quickly and politely obliged. This hotel may have been economical, but it was ridiculously umdermaintained and filthy. There were brown spots on the sheets, drips on the walls and mold in the bathroom. There were two couples and we had reserved two rooms. The rooms had outside entrances. The outside temperature was two below zero. Both doors were frozen shut. After an unsuccessful attempt at opening them, the manaer gave us other rooms. They were cold inside. We turned the thermostats to 75 and left for supper. When we returned, it was still cold […] inside. We turned the thermostats up to maximum (85 degrees) and went to bed to warm up. It was still cold inside the next morning. I was happy with my stay. I don't stay away from home very much at all, but I was comfortable and felt safe at this hotel. The bed was a little harder than I'm use to but it was a very nice place to stay.

The staff of the Econo Lodge were nice and helpful. The Breakfast was the same fare you get at any Choice Hotel. The room was clean enough but not spotless. The interior was tired and the room had a large moldy spot on the cieling. In the morning I found out why. The roof is failing and either has or does leak. This plan is not firm so it appears the facility is in a holding patern that mean minimum expenditures on upgrades, which explains the condition of the building. Cleanliness is most important to me, and this placed was OK, although not perfect. It was good in the places that mattered most. Very nice resort, better than expected. Great location, clean and updated. Room has everything you need including a fireplace & tub with jets. The room is a little tight but includes a desk, lovely cushy chair with ottoman. The Hotels.com website has not been updated to indicate that there is free wireless internet in the rooms.

I chose this hotel because it was the only available room in the area, at a price that I could afford, on a popular weekend. My first impression was that this hotel room had a good layout, not too small. But the mold smell was very distinct. I turned on the AC, which was old, falling apart and very NOISY, to try and dry out the room. It only helped […] a little. The blanket on my bed had strange stains on it. Why would anyone who made up this bed not notice that and think it was ok?! The free internet service that was promised did not work. Had to go back and ask for a different room right away because our non-smoking room was nearly blue with cigarette smoke. Clerk admitted that a drunken wedding party had stayed there the night before. The next room was dingy and worn but smelled like cleaning product instead of cigarette smoke. There was a half inch gap where caulk should have been […] between the top of the bath tub and the wall surround. I think water is running right down in the wall. The plastic tub floor felt spongy under my feet which I assume means a rotton floor under it. The whole room was just basically old, worn, and in need of remodeling. Was dissatisfied with cleanliness of bathroom. The floor had not been swept and wide patches of mold on floor and around tub seams. Many small repairs both inside and outside room were needed. Continental breakfast was the barest minimum. Would not stay in that Econo Lodge again

It was so old. It's smell so bad. It was not clean enough. smelled too bad. I couldn't sleep very well. I booked non smoking, but they put me in a smoking room. I arrived after mid night, they did whatever they wanted to. vever ever go back to that hotel, even it was for free.

The motel is old and barely maintained. The concrete lower walkway on my building was heaved upward (by frost), leaving the stairways at a rakish angle. On arrival, I entered the first "non-smoking" suite they sent me to, and it smelled of stale cigarette smoke. She gave me a key to another room that smelled much better. The suite was spacious, but […] the decor and furnishings were 20 years out of date. The bathroom sink was cracked, there was hair in the shower, mildew in the corners, peeling wallpaper full of holes from previously mounted shelves or towel bars - and the wastebasket hadn't been emptied. I found bits of Ramen noodles in the kitchen sink. The housekeeping staff wasn't very detail oriented to say the least. When I arrived and turned on the TV, it had been left tuned to a movie channel, which was showing a rather explicit film at the time. I was glad my granddaughter wasn't along. The crowning glory though, was the 4am surprise - they hadn't checked to see if the alarm clock was shut off. This was a first in over 40 years of travel. NEVER AGAIN! Continua a leggere
