This hotel was very nice. Close to the train station and plenty of shopping and restaurants. I travelled with my family of 3 but the room was for 2 persons. The hotel insisted to charge for an extra bed, extra person, and ultimately an upgrade to a larger room. Recommend that you call ahead to confirm the number in your party. Hotel very convienient to Central Station and central Amsterdam. Staff at Reception very friendly and helpful, Hotel rooms are very clean with good facilities but very small, too small infact to want to stay again. Overall ok to stay one or two nights

Great location and very clean hotel. Really nice bar/lounge area and staff very helpful. Rooms not huge but very clean and modern. One thing to note, ask for a room in the main part of the hotel as otherwise it's two lift rides and rooms can be slightly smaller in older area. Would definitely recommend and we will visit again.

We were very comfortable in this hotel with plenty of room and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. It was very conveniently located. The staff was very helpful in giving us recommendations for dinner and even made the reservations for us. The lounge was nice with complimentary Internet service which was very helpful. The location of the hotel is great as it is only less than 10 mins walk to the central station and there are tram 2,5 passing by the hotel (a stop right beside it). Room size is decent as well, the only thing is that we had two single bed rather than a double so annoying as it keep slip away durin the night. Sound prove to the street noise to a bearable […] level though not completely sound prove. The other thing is that with the high price of the room no breakfast was included. Good rate, great location, comfortable rooms. Three things to gripe about (1) during our stay someone vomited on the walkway between the two buildings and for a 3 night stay it smelled horrible, I'm not sure the hotel did much to fix this problem; (2) there is a surreptitious 1 euro "war child" donation on your bill, if you don't opt out of this donation […] at the beginning of your stay you can't get out of it when you check out; however, the hotel never told us about it when we checked in. When we checked out they just said that we had to pay our "taxes," and then levied this "war child" thing on us. It's a dishonest business practice. This brings me to (3) hotels.com charges you a tax, but the hotel also charges you for a tax for your stay, resulting in a double taxation which you have to pay additionally out of pocket when you check out. My boyfriend and i stayed for 4 nights 11/12/2011-15/12/2011 at this hotel. It is in a fantastic location less than a 5 mins walk from the train station and ideally located and within walking distance of all the major attractions. The hotel is absoloutely beautiful we stayed in a delux twin room it was spotless and for the short time we were their it […] was cleaned 3 out of the 4 days we were their. Great location, staff are very pleasnt and helpful, I could find no reason to fault this hotel. I will definitely return again.

We booked a room at his hotel based on other travellers' positive reviews that we read on-line, and we weren't disappointed! The hotel is a five-minute walk from the central station and it's located near everything you could possibly want to see in Amsterdam. The hotel staff was very pleasant when we checked in. The room and bathroom were bigger than […] most European hotels. My boyfriend and I were able to move comfortably around the room without feeling like we were stepping on each other's toes! The bed felt like we were sleeping on a cloud, and the room was very quiet during the day and night. I also love how the bathtub was deep - and the hotel provided complimentary bath crystals, which I used three of the four nights we were at the hotel! My only complaint would be the housekeeper who cleaned our room. On one of the days when we returned to our room, we saw the bathroom had been cleaned and restocked, but the comforter and pillows had been messily thrown over the bed. When I pulled back the comforter, I found the sheets hadn't been changed and my damp towel, which I'd accidentally left on the bed in the morning, was still there. Aside from that, the four nights we spent at the Inntel Hotel were great, and I would recommend anyone traveling to Amsterdam to stay there! Continua a leggere

Great hotel in the center of Amsterdam, nice rooms, very friendly staff, my full recommendations

Hotel was only a few blocks walk from the train station and in a nice location - in a pedestrian area with a few restaurants and bars just off a major street. Easy walking distance to dam square, Anne Frank house, red light district, etc. Hotel itself had good appearance, seemed safe, was very quiet, and was in good shape. I didn't try the bar or breakfast […] area. Room was pretty small, but as expected, and better than comparably-priced hotels I stayed in in Rome and Paris. Excellent location, 10 mins walk from Central Station, though not easy to find so take a map! Good quality 4 star, nice room, good bathroom.

We very much enjoyed our stay--our room was lovely (when we arrived, we were told we were given an upgrade, so I'm not sure how big a "standard" room is), clean, and very comfortable. The location couldn't have been better--a 10 minute walk from the train station, and right in the middle of the main historical & shopping areas. The hotel was very convenient to Centraal Station, so it was easy to walk with the suitcase to and from. It was close to everything I was interested in and was in a nice area. Only two negatives ... First, the front desk was crowded when I checked-in. But, they added staff to the counter pretty quickly, and it didn't really take that long. Second, this hotel also owns the building across the alley, and it is part of the hotel. To get there from the lobby, you go up to the second floor, and then go down the hall through over […] a pedestrian overpass that crosses the alley, and then to another elevator. Stayed 2 nights and was pretty happy with the place. Very much a business-man's hotel. Breakfast was 15Euro extra, but there's a few local cafés that'll only charge you 5.

the staff at the reception was arrogant and ignorant.when we arrived,they were displeased that the room was booked in my name but payed with my sisters creditcard.everytime we passed the reception after that,we felt uncomfartable.tried to get some information,they were arrogant,after a few times,we just stopped talking to them.i spilled coffee in my […] bed,no new sheets for 2 days....the morning we were leaving,my sister got migraine with additional womitting.i asked politely if they had routins for that,if we could pay and stay a few hours,our flight was not before evening.that would cost us 150 euro.....i told them my sister was relly sick,they told me it was not there problem...i was just shocked!!the room was ok,but the hallway at 4th floor,stank.the carpets looked nothing like a 4 star hotell.40 year old experienced traveller from norway Continua a leggere

Great hotel .very clean and safe. friendly staff and very helpfull .best thing was the location ten mins from the train station and every thing that we wanted to see was close by .we did not use any public transport there was no need.but it is on the door step if you want it.when i go to amsterdam again i will be useing this hotel.

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance from everything and a wonderful, helpful staff. The doorman was the best, always attentive and smiling. This is the place to stay if you are going to Amsterdam.

went with a few guys for long weekend. Last three times we stayed at Renaissaince, but they were booked. Loved this place! Nicer than we expected, better location than we expected. Bathrooms were small, but not too bad. Bed insanely comfortable. Hotel bar small. People were very nice, but that's typical in that town.

The hotel was very nice and right near all the major attractions in down town Amsterdam. The rooms were clean and service excellent. The staff can also be quite helpful when you have too much fun in Amsterdam.

This hotel's location was terrific for me because of its proximity to the Central Station. I used the train to get from the airport to Amsterdam and vice versa. It's about a 7minute walk between the hotel and the train station. There are frequent trains and the trip doesn't take more than 20-25 minutes. This was a big deal for me because I left the […] hotel at 5:45am for the airport and there wasn't a whole lot going on in the way of public transportation that early in the morning. As far as proximity to main attractions, there's a tram (not train) station right by the hotel and attractions such as the Dam and the Museum District are only a short tram ride from the hotel. Also, I'd like to mention that there are canal tours leaving from the docks located right in front of the Central Station. Again, a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel will take you there. Last but not least, both my room and the rest of the hotel was clean and in good shape. I didn't get to try the breakfast so, I can't comment on it. I hope this helps! Continua a leggere

Just an alley way walk away from all of the downtown Amsterdam action. Surprisingly, it was not too loud in the room. Clean hotel with FREE INTERNET that worked very well.

Great hotel. Small rooms but defintiely adequate, modern and nicely decorated. Extra marks for a super comfy bed and nice bedding. We had a wonderful time and found the Staff very helpful. Loved the fireplace in the bar area, the availability of umbrellas to keep out of the rain and the restaurant recommendations (go to Humfreys next door). Great location, […] super hotel. Thank you! Great hotel, very close to sights and within easy walking distance of train station as well. Hotel very clean, daily service great. We were in a deluxe room, which was very large and had a great view. This was my second stay in Amsterdam (I was previously there for several weeks so have a good feel for the city). The location of the hotel is great - a short walk from the main station and the Dam. The tram also stops right in front of the hotel. The front of the hotel, lobby and bar are modern and nice, but the rooms are average. Having just come […] from Paris I was hoping for a little more character. The hotel has an international human theme, so big life size photos of all walks of life are everywhere. I found it somewhat distracting to have to life size kids looking at me from above the bed. We thought the breakfast was included but ended up with a 70 Euro bill after 3 days. Great location, very short walk to central station, a very busy area and quite touristy. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Would recommend.

Excellent hotel. Staff very friendly and very helpfull. Location is within 5/ 10 minutes walking distance from any of the main sights, restaurants, shops and bars. Also from the railway station which made it easy to get from and to the airport, €4 No need for taxi at €20. Would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We were two woman on our own and this hotel was perfect. The breakfast is outstanding. Location perfect. Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. Would certainly stay there again and would recommend it.
