Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

"Pictures don't match the room."
The main lobby is probably the nicest part. The pictures are misleading. The room was incredibly damp and sleeping was sticky and uncomfortable. Half of the lights in my room did not even work. The bathroom fan made a terribly grinding sound that never went away. A lot of the molding was falling from the baseboards. The shower leaked all over the bathroom […] floor and was soaking wet every morning. And the WiFi was TERRIBLE!! Took 8 minutes to load a single page. Ever since the Red Roof Inn chain started making this "next gen" change it's an entirely new experience. The rooms are clean and contemporary and look like a 3 or 4 start room at Red Roof rates. Everything was Ok, except the pillows.They were excessive hard. I requested a softer ones and after two days I got two about the same. Overall, the Inn is not bad. Summary:The rooms are remodeled and look good; except for the showers and the overall noise. The good: flat screen TV, comfy bed and pillows with clean sheets, new carpet and floor in the bathroom area, Dunkin Dohnuts across the street, and the price is right ($240 for 3 nights) The bad: the tub looks old and grungy, and […] the tub floor had this patch placed over most of it to make it look new, but it looks and feels terrible. The place is noisy - I could clearly hear everyone's conversation as they walked by, and sirens from the street felt like they were in my room, and there were a few sirens the first night. When we checked in the lady at the front desk was very friendly. The room we were given was on the second floor. The ceiling was leaking in the bathroom as if someone above us had taken a shower and the water had leaked through the floor and the toilet did not work at all. I went to ask for a different room preferably on the third (top) floor and she […] was very helpful did not hesitate at all. Makes me think it's happened before. You could tell in the second room that it had been renovated recently. Overall I was impressed with the service. I would stay there again for a short stay, we stayed for 3 nights. Very good all around. Very convenient to Manhattan (12 minutes to the NYC side of the Lincoln tunnel). The nicest Red Roof I have experienced. My room facing Route 3 West was noisy ("far" side of the H-shaped building). "A pleasant experience"
Stayed at the hotel while visiting family. Front desk staff was friendly and courteous, as was a maintenance man and maid I encountered. The room was nicely renovated. The rest of the hotel retains it's original look. Only issue was that the maid was not consistant in replenishing the room, sometimes we got all the towels, soap etc, sometimes only part. […] Area of the hotel has typical northern NJ industrial look. There's a small shopping center accross the street with a couple of fast food establishments. "You get what you pay for."
The room was a good place to crash at the end of the day. That's what we were looking for. If you are looking for top notch service or extensive amenities, look somewhere else. You have to go to the front desk if you need towels or anything else, but it is an easy, short walk. There is access to NJT bus lines about half a mile south, and several restaurants […] are located directly across the street. Overall, I was pleased with our stay, but I new where to set the bar.
