Tutto ok. Ero sulla camera singola, forse un po' piccola la doccia, ma tutto ok. Simpatica l'acqua gratuita in frigo bar, un piccolo gesto ma apprezzato con la calura romana.

ho soggiornato, con un amico, il we del 18-03-2012 in occasione della maratona di roma. L'accoglienza e il servizio sono stati buoni, la colazione a buffet ricca, le camere, avevamo 2 singole, un pò piccole ma confortevoli. Un appunto si può fare sui bagni, sono veramente piccolissimi, e dopo la corsa la doccia con il capo chinato non è stata proprio […] il massimo del relax... Un pò cara l'estensione della camera dalle 12,00 alle 16,00 tenendo conto che al mattino non è stata rifatta. ed infine una nota di colore: bellissimi gli occhi di Roberta alla reception ! Da fuori è accattivante,all'interno è carino ed accogliente anche se non sembrerebbe un 4 stelle. I receptionist sono gentilissimi; peccato per i rumori che si sentono, causa non insonorazione, tra una stanza e l'altra. A pochi passi dal Colosseo, consiglio!

e' posizionato a 200 metri dal colosseo e davanti all'hotel passano molti mezzi il personale e' molto cordiale e ha suggerito ottimi ristoranti unica nota negativa la mancanza di una postazione internet gratuita

Non posso credere che quest'albergo abbia ottenuto 4 stelle !!! La nostra camera aveva macchie su tutto il tappeto e sui muri, un arredamento vecchio e malandato. La porta del bagno si chiudeva o si apriva solo dandole una spinta forte !! In camera non avevamo la macchina del tè o del caffè, che di solito sono disponibili negli alberghi di questo livello. […] Se avevamo bisogno di una tazza di tè o di caffè, potevamo solo richiedere il servizio in camera pagando 2,5 euro e per una tazza veramente piccola. Ho chiesto un ferro da stiro da usare in camera, ma mi è stato detto che l’unico che potevo utilizzare era quello disponibile alla reception ! Ridicolo ! Ho dovuto stirare i miei vestiti in piedi, nello stretto corridoio della reception, mentre il personale andava e veniva passando di fianco a me. Sulla terrazza c’era un bar, ma era chiuso e rimarrà chiuso fino alla prossima estate. Se poi si voleva vedere la televisione o ascoltare la radio non in lingua Italiana, c’era da pagare un servizio extra di 20 euro !!!!! Il servizio in camera termina alle ore 11 di sera. In passato sono stato in alberghi anche più economici di questo e non sono una persona che di solito si lamenta, ma ho pagato parecchio per soggiornare in quest'albergo e devo dire che in assoluto è il peggiore che io abbia mai visto. La posizione era fantastica, a circa 5 minuti da Colosseo e dal Foro, da non perdere assolutamente! La reception e l'area per fare la colazione erano moderne e il personale era molto cordiale. Le stanze erano piccole (abbiamo prenotato una stanza singola per persona), ma credo che tali dimensioni siano uno standard in Roma. Mia moglie ed io prenotammo questo albergo per quattro notti per celebrare il nostro 25 anniversario di nozze. Lo scegliemmo perché era un po’ fuori dal centro della città, sebbene era vicino alle stazioni della metropolitana delle linee A e B (una breve passeggiata a piedi), e fu molto facile raggiungere le maggiori attrazioni. Raggiungemmo a piedi […] il Pantheon,impiegando circa 30 minuti ma lungo la strada potemmo ammirare tanto. Prenotammo una camera superior e eravamo entusiasti della vista sul Colosseo. Non tutte le camere hanno questa vista, sebbene vi è una piscina in terrazza, (profonda solo 1 metro), terrazzo e bar con favolosi panorami della città. Come hanno segnalato altre persone, le camere non sono grandi. Il nostro punto di vista è che il posto è più importante e la camera serve solo per dormire a fine giornata! Comunque, il bagno in camera era piccolissimo, in uno spazio 2 m. per 2, hanno incastrato una doccia, (impossibile calarsi se casca qualcosa a terra!), il WC, lavabo e bidet. L'unico modo per asciugarsi dopo la doccia era di farlo nella camera. Personalmente, credo che si poteva togliere il bidet per fare più spazio. Detto questo, abbiamo avuto un soggiorno molto piacevole e ci torneremo. Credo però che se avessi avuto una camera senza la vista che abbiamo avuto noi, la propria opinione su questo albergo sarebbe stata diversa. Continua a leggere

Now I know that this hotel is being updated at the moment so when those renovations are complete the hotel really could be superb! There is so much to see and do in Rome, you don't spend much time in your hotel room. This hotel offered basic ammenities for a traveling tourist. The front desk service was great, the location is a 2-3 minute walk to the Colosseum, and a 10 minute walk to the Red line Metro (subway). However, the rooms did not offer a dead-bolt on the door, the ventilation/AC […] did not work, the internet WiFI was spotty, and the shower was very cramped for a 6' male. I didn't travel to Rome for the hotels--I went for the sights. The rate at this hotel worked with my budget, but I may look at other options next time I am fortunate enough to visit this city. The staff was great, location was perfect! The room is not the most clean. The bedding was good but the floor was a bit nasty and the bathroom tub did not looked too clean. The towels had stains. But overall for the value and location, well worth it!

This is a really nice hotel very near most of the historical sites. The staff were absolutely superb and sorted a number of problems for us. The taxis they booked were the cheapest around, for example. Oh and it has a really nice bar/restaurant.

Great location in the city. Very nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms on the small side but has all the comforts required. Make sure breakfast is included in your package as it's not worth 15Euro per person.Highly Recommended hotel. Note that this hotel falls outside the 40Euro flat rate for taxi's from the airport.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. The Colosseum is at your door as is the Roman Forum and easy access to downtown. Good metro and bus transport is also handy. Check-in was a little complicated as the hotel did not have my Expedia record, but that was sorted after about 20 minutes. The hotel is probably built in the 1980s and is in need of some […] renovation. My room was "double superior" only because it had a view of the Colosseum. There was an unfortunate concrete pillar at the end of the bed (holding the roof up no doubt) and a rather small bathroom compared to other hotels in Rome. The carpet and other fittings were in need of replacement. I was there in November and the much talked about roof terrace (with view) was closed - so I never saw it. On balance, this hotel is OK primarily because of its location. If this is not so important then other hotels probably have better and newer amenities. Continua a leggere

Our room had a great veiw of the coloseum. The red or blue line metro was about a 10 min walk. Right next door to the hotel was a great place for coffee, pastrys or gelato. The Mercure Delta Colosseo. It was a really nice hotel, however it just didnt have anything to make me say wow. When we first got there, we had the tiniest room. I was there for my girlfriends birthday and when I told the staff this and asked for an upgrade, they did do that for us, however there was a slight grumble. We were there for 6 days. If you are looking for breakfast I wouldn't recommend the extortion from the hotel. there is a nice place just next to the hotel up the Labicana away from the colosseum that sells amazing fresh croissants at a euro each. Also, make sure you don't leave your towels in the bath expecting fresh ones, if you are there for more than a night, you will get the same towels and bedding for the duration of your stay. This hotel is only in a good position, as for the hotel is dirty, the carpet going to the first floor so dirty and the corridor small so bad, however in side de room, the room was ok but the hotel require some maintenance as I cannot say is dirt for one day. Having read reviews from others who had stayed at this hotel i was slightly dissapointed in that our group of 12 had all upgraded to superior rooms and found a mismatch of different rooms, all had a view of colosseum but most were very small. The staff at the hotel were OK, a bit snappy at times if you couldn't understand what they where saying. I had to iron my tops and pants in the reception area as this is the only was you can iron clothes. Number one it's humiliating and number two the ironing board and iron were like something out of the Flintstones. I'd highly recommend booking your hotel there than in the Ancient Coty were this one is. Ok the coliseum is just a 2 minute walk and the Roman forum is behind that, if this is all you’re in Rome to see and do and are not after anything special then this is your hotel. If you're going to propose to your girlfriend and have a great time like I did, then do not book this hotel. Modern, Efficient, Less than 200m from the Coilsium if your in Rome to walk the ideal base, no resturant but theres more places to eat in the area than you could try in a month and the Pool and roof bar add the right touch with great views

Hotel location was perfect, however that was all that was impressive about it. As soon as I and my partner arrived we were sneered at and were asked if we were sure we were in the correct hotel (I am 18, my partner is 21) The staff were unhelpful and rude, after we checked in I went down to ask a question and I was shooed away by the staff who said […] they were busy, despite the fact there was no one else being checked in or seen to at the time. The pool isn't really a pool, more a large bath about 3mx6m and the sun loungers are few and far between, when I walked past the reception later I saw a family with young kids asking if they had any more sun loungers and they too were sneered away. I know this hotel claims it has business facilities but it's hardly fun to be ignored on your holiday because you aren't business class and you aren't paying 24euors (yes 24 euros) for a full breakfast every morning. I think if you don't need a pool for your holiday, book somewhere else, there are other hotels just as central as this one and with far nicer staff (we had lunch in one of the other hotels where the staff weren't put off by our age as they understood we were in Rome to buy what we required for the holiday) Continua a leggere

We have just returned from honeymoon at the Mercure Delta Colosseo hotel in Rome. Whilst the room we were allocated was smaller than the rooms shown on the website, the service received, the location, the rooftop pool and terrace bar more than made up for it. The hotel is less than 200 metres away from the Colloseum, about 20-30 minutes walk from the […] Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish steps so the location couldn't be better. The pool was a godsend after spending the morning/early afternoon exploring, we spent a couple of hours each day recharging our batteries by the pool and cooling down in the refreshing water A fantastic hotel and I would definitely return. Dont know how this hotel has a 2 review score. It is much better then that, the rooms were stock standard, nothing special, but did the job considering you are not even there half the time. Free internet cards, staff spoke english, right outside the Colosseum, great place!

This hotel has a great location just minutes from the Colosseum. Staff were very polite and helpful. The pool on the roof was excellent and great for cooling down in the afternoon. My room was clean and had everything I needed for my visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Mercure. The location was perfect for accessing ancient Rome and we got to walk by the Coloseum every day. The neighborhood bars and restaurants were much friendlier and more reasonably priced than on the other side of the city. The rooftop pool was heaven at the end of a hot day and the bar peaceful and quiet.
