Il bus navetta non si e' fermato al primo giro e abbiamo dovuto aspettare 20 minuti, ma tutto sommato le cose sono andate bene. Le stanze sono confortevoli anche se curiosamente il termostato era dietro all'armadio (nella stanza c'era l'aria condizionata al massimo, come tipico negli USA).

Centrale, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia di Wahikiki e dal lungomare ! noleggio auto bici moto sotto hotel. alcune camere un po datate ma cmq perfetto compromesso qualità prezzo. piscina la 31 piano e idromassaggio in acqua caldissima fino alle 23.00. panorama bellissimo. ci torno. ciao

"Close to everything . Good bus service ."
It was nice. Got bad sunburn so couldn't do a lot. Hotel provided what we needed including a free use of beach chairs, towels and a wheelchair for me when my feet were so badly burned that I couldn't walk much. The hotel is older and not right on the beach as stated. It is the farthest away from Wakkii and the Stip. And the Beach is not right in front. Loved the location ! Out of the hustle and bustle of the major part of Waikiki, but yet close enough to get to all the action. There is a beautiful walkway along the beach to get amongst the other hotels. Ilikai has a lovely deck area that overlooks the marina adding to the restful feeling of the area. View is lovely, staff are professional but friendly. Enjoy the easy walk to Ala Moana park & shopping center. Also enjoy the beach walk to Waikiki. "Not the Best experience when you arrive"
Since we arrived the problem was finding a valet, we had to carry our bags upstairs because there was a Big Sign in the Electric Stairs No bags allowed, we tried to check in, but they gave us our room until 3pm (It was 8am) It was 30 minutes until we found the Valet to keep our bags until 3pm, and he was not friendly, looked like he was doing us a favor. the chair and bedding smelled like sweaty people had been lying on it. my airconditioning unit dripped on the ground constantly. the room just had a foul odor to it. "golden girls dusty room"
We didn't expect much but we didn't expect a very dusty room and bathroom with moldy tile and shower. We had to perform our own plumbing to turn off the bathtub faucet and the service from personnel was the worst we had in Hawaii. We were talked into "upgrading" to an ocean front room that was really a city front room with only a view of the ocean from […] one end of the lanai. When I opened the shower door I got some silver goo all over my hand that wouldn't come off till the third good scrubbing. The concierge almost always had the "be back in 5 minutes" sign up and when they came back we waited for 40 minutes before giving up. The lobby decor was nice but the rooms were a flash back to the golden girls era with dust all over the floor boards and all over the bathroom doors. "Nice older hotel"
The hotel is located near Waikiki Beach and many shops. The reason I didn't rate the hotel higher is because the shower is a little run down and has a shower curtain, no tub and the water pressure was weak. The sink back-uped and there is NO dresser space which was inconvenient because we had to live out of our suit cases. We had a kitchen which was […] nice and they provided plates, cups and a few cooking essentials. Unfortunately our room faced East and you couldn't open the curtains or sit on the balcony during the day because it was just too bright and hot. It was very nice in the evening though and you could see the HIlton's firework show next door. Ate at the bar and grill one night and had the worst hamburger and onion rings ever, frozen and re-heated food. Nice bar atmosphere though and staff was nice. "Great location, but the hotel is showing it's age."
This hotel has a great location, but is showing it's age. The pool is very small and the amenities are sparse compared to other hotels in Waikiki. The positives are it's location to the beach, lagoon, and Ala Moana. "Enjoyable!"
We had a beautiful room with a fantastic view. The room was spacious and comfortable with a full kitchen and wall to ceiling window for the entire wall facing the ocean -- lovely balcony. The only minor issue was waiting for the bellman with our luggage when we left -- but that was a minor issue. Over all we loved our stay at the Ilikai.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Hawaii Thanksgiving 2012"
We've stayed here before - very enjoyable. Great Views. The pillows could use some work, and the rooms could use some updating...but nothing major. Dinner at Sorrento's was great - but remember to tell them up front that you are a hotel guest if you want the 15% discount...they gave ma a hard time and only gave me 10% back.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Good enough"
Ilikai is semi-convenient even though it's at the end of the strip. It's right next to the Modern Hotel which is nice if you would like to go to a nice bar. There are some restaurants close to the area and walking distance to the ala moana mall which makes it an ideal hotel that's not too busy, yet close enough for shoppingRecensioni obiettive degli ospiti Expedia

Enjoyed our stay and would definitely return - enjoyed the extras like microwave & refrigerator. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We were there during Tsunami alert and was impressed with the hotel preparedness in keeping us updated and implementing precautionary measures. Great location!Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com
