Mi sono fidato delle recensioni prima di scegliere questo hotel e devo dire che non sono rimasto deluso. La posizione è veramente ottima, vicino ad un grande centro commerciale all'aperto con vari negozi e ristoranti. L'atmosfera non è quella tipica dei grandi alberghi, ma più vicina a quella di un residence. Elevata la pulizia. Il servizio manutenzione, che abbiamo dovuto chiamare per un piccolo problema con il condizionatore, è rapido ed efficiente. Molto gradito il parcheggio gratis. Un po' scarsi i prodotti trovati nel bagno: abbiamo dovuto far richiesta dello shampoo.

Che bello! bed e breakfast veramente accogliente. Ambiente caldo e molto rilassante. Padroni di casa molto discreti ma disponibili e gentili. Park gratuito a un minuto. Colazione abbondante, snack e frutta a disposzione durante il giorno. Ottima biancheria da letto e da bagno. La camera Laguna beach è un pò piccola con letto queen,ma noi siamo stati benissimo. E' un bel quartiere ma decentrato meglio l'auto.

Molto gentili, camere un pò spartane ma pulite e spaziose. Colazione al piano terra ma "in piedi" o ai tavoli fuori se il tempo è ok. Park gratuito a due passi. Vicinissimo al Kodak . Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Tornerei sicuramente

beakfast ESAGERATAMENTE CARO perché il costo della colazione è indipendente da cosa si mangia. Mia moglie ed io abbiamo preso: 2 espresso+1 banana+1yogurt+1 ciotola di cereali+1 bicchiere di succo di frutta = 56,92$ !!!

Memore di fasti passati, l'albergo appare oggi decadente. Pur conservando l'antico prestigio, visibile nei bellissimi saloni, nell'ampiezza e nell'arredamento delle camere, nelle decorazioni dei soffitti, l'albergo mostra carenza di manutenzione. La polvere si è accumulata su tutte le superfici più alte (lampade, armadi) e nei condotti di aerazione,la […] moquette è strappata o lisa, i vetri sono sporchissimi. Durante il nostro soggiorno la cassaforte si è bloccata e tre tecnici diversi hanno tentato di aprirla. Solo alla fine (ed era ormai mezzanotte) hanno chiesto i codici di sblocco in Svizzera. Mi hanno spiegato che la proprietà risparmia sulla manutenzione, tanto che le casseforti non vengono aggiornate dal 1975 e che capita anche ad altri di non poterle più riaprire. Un cliente è poi rimasto intrappolato in ascensore ed è stato liberato dai vigili del fuoco. La posizione è centralissima ed adatta per un viaggio di affari. Tuttavia, quando chiudono uffici e negozi la zona diventa pericolosa e alla reception ci hanno consigliato di non uscire a piedi dopo le 20:00. La fermata della metropolitana è a circa 500 metri e conduce a Hollywood e alle destinazioni più popolari in 20 minuti al prezzo di soli 1,5 dollari. Continua a leggere

L'hotel si presenta elegante e di alto livello. Le camere si lasciano desiderare, un pò datato l'arredamento e dai rubinetti esce acqua di color ruggine. La colazione molto costosa per quel che offrono. Per un hotel di tale livello, sarebbe dovuto offrire ai clienti la connessione wireless free in camera. Consiglio altri hotels. "Il MIglior albergo di LA"
Un albergo unico, pieno di storia con un servizio eccellente. Fino agli anni 50 si teneva in questo hotel la notte degli oscar!! Ci hanno girato diversi film, tra i quali Ghostbusters e Beverly Hills Cop. Ci hanno alloggiato presidenti e personalità illustri. Che dire...un sogno.
"Aspettative superate"
Hote di lusso, ineccepibile, personale diponibile. Camere con tutti i comfort, anche e un po' piccole in proporzione a hall, sale pranzo, e alla cura dei particolari. Posizione ottima; vicino alla fermata Metro e centro visitatori.
"Grandissimo"
Uno splendido e storico hotel che prende un isolato intero. Dalle foto non si riconosce la sua grandezza maestosa. I soffitti della Hall e delle sale sono ricchissimi, da lasciare a bocca aperta. Un po' disarmanti i suoi lunghissimi corridoi ai piani. "Old!"
Stayed for one night and after being there for 10 minutes I strongly considered going elsewhere. The from was very old, small, and outdated. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone under 50 years old.

As everyone else says, the public spaces are fantastic. Also as everyone else says, there's lots of street noise (we brought a noise machine which took care of that). Our room was clean and well maintained -- not the current definition of high-end, but really very nice. A handsome room. Vallet damaged my new 2012 CLS550 while parking it. I called the manager of the hotel 3 times and she still hasn't returned my calls.

We booked the club level room, and for the little extra money was very worth it. Rooms on this level get complimentary continental breakfast and evening appetizers in the Club Lounge which is on the same level so you don't have to go downstairs. Did not see any duct taped carpet anywhere like many others mentioned. Room was very clean, but mattress […] was not very comfortable. Bathroom is very small, not enough power outlets in room. Parking at the hotel is now $45! So park across the street at the Pershing Square lot for $16, very close, right across the street. Overall very beautiful well maintained hotel. "A classic-don't miss this place!"
I absolutely loved this hotel and wish I could have stayed longer; I will definitely be back! Lobby and all public areas were so gorgeous and pristine for such an old hotel. The rooms had a little more wear but hardly noticeable and very clean. Bathroom is tiny but funtional and clean and the shower had the best water pressure! We were able to get room […] service at 1am and it was excellent, as was the food in the restaurants. The staff were all very friendly. Be aware that parking is $40/night though; we parked in the underground parking structure at the square next door for $16 instead. Wonderful, beautiful, historic hotel. Can't wait to go back! "Beautiful historical hotel"
Well worth staying in the club rooms for the breakfast and afternoon appetizers. Staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is a beautiful historical treasure. We walked to many downtown sights. The carpet in rooms could be replaced, but it was inconsequential to us.
A little thrown off by the antiquity, but surprisingly comfortable.

Classy hotel with a lot of history but a few things found to be lacking. On the plus side its has some impressive public areas and is close to some great restaurants and the Metro, on the downside it charges for everyhing above basic so expect no frills. The rooms are nice with dated but clean bathrooms, but there is no fridge, apparenly you can rent […] one?! Wifi is expensive but free at lesser establishments, and valet parking was also expensive with doorman found to be pleasant on arrival but rude and surly on departure once you're all paid/tipped... We were subject to pressure to get off the forecourt when it was quite clear and reasonable that we needed a few minutes to load our four bags seeing as we arrived with clothes and all. "Great hotel"
Great hotel. No complimentary wifi was a bit annoying though. The only hotel in my entire trip with no internet.
"Beautiful Lobby."
Beautiful Lobby but the hallways need to be renovated. Outlets were very old, was nervous to plug my blow dryer. Loved the fitness room, pool, and sauna. Front desk and valet were very super nice. Overall, would stay again only if I get another great deal on Hotels.com.

"An under-rated option in LA"
The Biltmore is a great deal in LA...especially if you spend time going in different directions around the metro area. The hotel itelf has a few blemishes, but the architecture and the history make it unique. Especially quiet on the weekends.

"Millenium Biltmore in LA"
Our room was clean, comfortable and large, but sparsely furnished. The hall carpeting on our floor was well worn and in need of replacement. The lobby is spectacular. The health club and pool are very nice.

Great location, close to many downtown restaurants and bars. The lobby and health club were very nice, as well as the service. The rooms could use updating. And you can hear the neighbors and staff in the hallway from the room. But bed was good. Would def stay here again!
"Unique look - Parking is pricy"
Drive a few minutes to Little Tokyo and China Town. The neighborhood is not great. The closest McDonald does not have a washroom - that tells you some thing about the neighborhood. This hotel was build in 1923 and therefore it is quite a building at the time. The hallway carpet is old and the style is old. However, the ceiling is high and look spacious. […] The room's lighting was a bit dark. It's different from other modern hotel but I LIKE it. Parking is $40. Across the street is $12 over night parking, and $23 (underground with security camera). "NICE HOTEL"
MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD WITH EXCEPTION TO THE $40 PARKING,NO OTHER PARKING ONSITE IS AVAILABLE. THE HOTEL HAD THAT 50'S TYPE OF DECOR WHICH I FOUND TO BE QUITE NICE. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN,I ONLY WISHED FOR A MORE UP TO DATE BATHROOM AREA. I BOOKED THROUGH HOTELS.COM WHICH SAVED US 1/2 THE REGULAR PRICE IF I HAD GONE TO THEM DIRECT,BUT SOMEHOW THEY […] DIDN'T RELIZE THAT UPON MY CHECKOUT AND DOUBLE CHARGED MY STAY. The hotel staff was friendly and rooms were clean... The bathrooms were VERY outdated but clean. Location was good, about a mile from LA live/staples... There is more affordable parking in the garage across the street if u don't want to pay hotel valet Also a live band played in the bar...

When we got to our room, the bed was not made, the bathroom had towels on the floor. The room was not cleaned. We were moved to another room. Was disappointed that the room didn't have a refrigerator...paying that much for a room, we thought would have a refrigertor.
"Always Outstanding"
I stay here at least 7 nights a year, and I couldn't love it more. It's just a fantastic place that keeps me coming back time and time again.

Honestly I really liked the hotel service and staff but I was very disappointed with the bed....soooo uncomfortable!!! I was waiting for the springs to break thru the mattress. I stayed for 2 nights and my back was killing me!!! The room was spacious and nice though. So besides the uncomfortable bed my only other complaint would be the obvious fixes […] to the carpets throughout the hotel that were just fixed with tape....weird for the price you would think it would look a little better. "Great value and location"
Very nice classic European style hotel in Downtown L.A. A bit far from Staples Center for walking, but doable. The room was a very good size. The bar area was nice as well. Definitely recommend.

Top class hotel. Friendly service in every area of the hotel, bar, restuarants, and stores. Bath room was small, but clean. Parking was a little too costly.

The hotel is gorgeous. The customer service was lovely. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin and unless you are there to party, do not plan on sleeping. Also, prepare for the constant tingling feeling you get as soon as you lay in bed. Oh and one last thing! Self parking is no where near the hotel. "Good public areas--Rooms are lacking"
The lobby and public rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The hallway carpets had burgundy duct tape to cover splits--and there was a lot of duct tape on the carpet! The room was ok, but there was a large stain on the carpet. The floor was very uneven in our room, like they had just left huge holes in the pad and carpeted over it.
