Molto buono. Unica lamentela, il comportamento dell'autista della "navetta" per l'aeroporto (fornita dall'albergo), che si è arbitrariamente trattenuto quattro euro di resto (dati 50, resi 30) come mancia.

Bellissimo hotel in stile classico con personale cortese, internet veloce, camere grandi dotate di ogni confort e posizione che più centrale non si può con metropolitane, ristorante e locali da ogni lato. Tuttavia la nostra camera, pur essendo molto ampia e confortevole, dava sul cortile interno e questo è risultato un pò claustrofobico e con scarsa ventilazione.

in posizione molto centrale, posizionato a pochi passi dalla metro e nella zona centrale del cuore di madrid, stanza piccola invece della matrimoniale ho avuto una stanza con due letti separati, per il resto tutto ok

ottima posizione,cordialità del personale in reception,ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo,peccato per la mancanza di una vera colazione,visto anche il bell'ambiente dove è solo possibile bere un caffè(€1)

Ad est, dominato dalla torre di trasmissione color argento di aspetto retrò, il tranquillo Parque del Oeste, pieno di abeti, accoglie gli studenti delle vicine università che si rilassano distesi sull'erba. Da qui si può prendere la funivia sul fiume Manzanares che conduce a Casa de Campo oppure ammirare il tramonto da una terrazza sul vivace Paseo del Pintor Rosales o dal Tempio del Debod. La stazione degli autobus costituisce uno snodo principale per chi si dirige verso nord-ovest.

Great location, clean. A bit old fashioned for that price though. Very loud as it was thin walls. Felt like the neighbour was in my room.
"excellent"
The hotel was in an excellent location, close enough to the action, yet tucked away in a quieter street. It was also close to the metro station so it was easy to get to and from the airport. The hotel staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. The room was spacious with really comfortable beds and a nice bathroom.

The hotel staff, both Angel and Louis are outstanding. They helped us in all that we asked. Eventhough it is not the best hotel we had stayed in, we would choose Mercure Madrid because of them.

"A Stay in December"
I stayed there as part of a party of 11 in early December. The hotel is convenient to the Metro station and easy to find. The foyer area is well decorated and the rooms were comfortable and had everything you need. The immediate area is not particularly attractive, but feels quite safe. The Mercure Madrid Plaza de Espana in Madrid was a perfect place to stay - clean, quiet and comfortable on the inside. Outside, it was walking distance to two major subway lines, walking distance to most major attractions and plenty of places to eat.

While the hotel doesn't seem like it is THAT close to everything, it is actually a lot closer to the main areas of Madrid and it is possible to walk everywhere quite easily. There is the underground option which we did opt for most of the time as we did not know precisely where everything was but turns out, closer than we predicted. Lots of restaurants […] and bars nearby so never short of something to grab to eat if that is what you need. Hotel room was excellent - bed was so comfy you did not want to leave it! Bathroom spotless and room had a safe which was a bonus. There was no iron in the room however but not sure if this is something that can be requested. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the hotel and would gladly return to this hotel should we return to Madrid. Definitely recommend. Continua a leggere

Very central, really friendly staff, perfect for a city break. Right beside Plaza de Espana and within walking distance of all sights. Ideal for city break, staff very helpful too.

The hotel is well located with easy access to local sites. The staff is very helpful and the accomodations are nice. On the down side, the rooms are a bit noisy and the restuarant limited at best. Overall, I would stay here again.

"Very good quality hotel"
We stayed here for a long weekend and the room was really nice. The hotel has more of a business vibe but as a couple we found the facilities very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Our stay went very well and we came back engaged!
"Fine but nothing special"
Stayed for two nights in May. The hotel is not in the greatest location for anything really although it's not too far a walk to get into the center of Madrid. In terms of comfort it's OK, more like what you would expect from a three star hotel than the Sofitel brand. Nothing particularly wrong with it but probably wouldn't stay again.

Hotel muito bem localizado, serviço gentil e eficiente. O buffet de cafe da manhã é muito bom. O unico porem é que o hotel merece uma reforma - me incomodou o carpete antigo do quarto.

Jeg har været meget tilfreds med vores hotel, det ligger perfekt til gå afstand til det hyggelige centrum uden at der samtidig er et overrend af turister og larm. Servicen har været i top og værelserne er nydelige, hyggelige og rene. Hotellet er ikke i "bo bedre" stil men mere hyggeligt uden at være slidt. Assez proche du centre ville et Palais Royal. Déco assez vieillote mais service Ok et chambre spacieuse. Quartier calme mais sans intérêts. Bon rapport qualité/prix

Very nice, quiet and clean hotel in central Madrid. Did not try the restaurant/breakfast, but the rooms - even though small - were excellent. The bed is incredible. Nice and helpfull english-speaking staff, and always a couple of taxis waiting outside on the street if you need them. Beware of the small restaurant across the street though, the food […] is decent enough but they have over-priced everything terribly. Very close to Calle Princesa, the street that later turn in to Calle Gran Via wich is the main passage way for all of central Madrid. I can really recommend this hotel. Continua a leggere

O hotel era muito bom, no entanto o acesso a Internet foi bastante complicado. Colocaram apenas um micro - muito lento - disponível e é cobrado uma taxa que varia de 2 euros para 15 minutos a até 6 euros para 1 hora de uso. O problema principal é o tempo de demora na conexão e lentidão do micro que tornam o uso da Internet muito caro e irritante. Não […] faz sentido um hotel desta classe não facilitar o acesso a Internet. Os atendentes são muito amáveis e o quarto é amplo e confortável. Continua a leggere

Hotel bien situado, falta renovación, falta servicio de habitaciones, y no existe restaurante ni cafeteria después de las 22 h., extras carísimos en funcion del servicio y llamar por tfno.

Centralt beliggenhed, tæt på Metro og gåafstand til seværdigheder. God komfort, venlig betjening i receptionen og ved morgenmads buffet.

Virkelig lækkert hotel... Meget centralt beliggende i forhold til både Kongeslottet og det centrale Madrid - et meget hyggeligt område... Værelset var rigtig fint og hele hotellet var rigtig flot.
