Buon hotel, peccato lo scarso comfort dato dal letto con cuscini mollissimi e caldo eccessivo della stanza in cui alloggiavamo (numero 100) vicino l'acsensore. Colazione ottima, personale gentile e struttura ubicata in antico palazzo d'epoca. Posizione ottima.

hotel situato in posizione ideale, nel centro storico, in prossimità dei monumenti più importanti, che possono essere raggiunti a piedi. I luoghi comuni (hall, sala colazioni, pranzo, ricevimento, bar) sono ben manutenuti, mentre i corridoi e le camere cominciano a mostrare qualche segno del tempo. Ho già scritto i miei commenti al vostro servizio clienti : albergo non 4 stelle e non all'altezza dei Boscolo Hotels. Stanza vecchia e puzzolente , bisognosa come il bagno di essere rifatta ( era la 104) forse come ho già scritto ci hanno dato quella perchè prenotata e pagata con Expedia ?

soggiorno in palazzo rinascimentale con scaloni per raggiungere le camere, sembra di entrare in un'altra epoca. Camere confortevoli, mobili stile antico bagni in marmo. Ottimo kit cortesia. Staff cordiale. Buona la colazione ancora in ambiente unico (sala affrescata) avrei inserito nel menu lo yogurt greco e non i vasetti di yogurt singoli. Posizione […] eccellente, silenzioso a due passi dal Duomo, Piazza della Signoria e Santa Croce. Praticamente a un tiro dalla stazione. Ottimo Hotel. Intermedio tra la stazione ferroviaria ed il centro. Attorniato da ristoranti e trattorie eppure non infastidito dal traffico circostante. Vicinissimo alla chiesa ed al mercato di S.Lorenzo. Ottimo il servizio e gli spazi comuni. Accurata la pulizia delle camere. Gentilissimo lo staff di reception e servizio. We didn't like the area. It's a total tourist trap of a location with so much (including this hotel) catering to the tour bus crowd. The hotel was outdated but nice enough with a classic feel. We were so unimpressed with the location that we actually cut out trip short and they gave us a refund for the unused nights which was great. No internet in the […] rooms yet and the internet in the lobby is flaky. NOTE: The breakfast is atrocious, watery eggs and supermarket pre-packaged pastries, cold-cuts, and yogurts. Arrived at the hotel in the evening and it has a great location. Only a short walk from the station. First impressions of the hotel were that the public spaces, the reception area was massive with lovely architecture, furniture and murals. Only bad point was there was a horrible smell. This persisted for or whole stay but luckily there was no smell […] in our room. Check in was quick, the staff were polite, and we were shown to our room. The room itself was large, clean and generally well presented. There was a massive comfy bed. The room did look a little tatty though, like it could do with being refurbished. The wardrobe door didnt shut and we had problems getting the bathroom light to turn off. There was a really powerful shower and the bathroom was clean. I was worried that I would be cold in January but the room was really warm. Actually too hot and the dials on the wall didnt seem to do anything. We had to open the window at night but then I couldn't sleep as it was really noisy outside throughout the whole night. This was to be expected though when you're right in the centre of the city. The hotel isn't perfect but was fantastic for the price as it was walking distance to all the locations and there were a few great restaurants right in the same street. The central market and the duomo are each only about 5 minute walk away. Best for location but not luxurious! Recommend the Italian cookery course that is in the leaflet given to you by reception! Stayed here on honeymoon and it was amazing! Beautiful hotel! Awesome view from our room. We had a huge room, king bed, and nice bath salts/products! The staff was so nice and very helpful. We loved it!

The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes walk from main sights in Florence including Piazza del Duomo; it's also near Santa Maria Novella Station, and shops which is very convenient. Close to train station and everything in central Florence. Easy walk to all the sites. The hotel is clean and pleasant in the lobby, but tired everywhere else. The breakfast was pretty good, but for 12.50 euro per person you could do better outside at a local cafe. We didn't have hot water, the maid never showed up, but the room was clean. Not the best hotel in Florence but absolutely great for the price and a good central location, our room was very comfortable, with a large bed in a large room, also lovely and quiet. The only issue was a shower that leaked onto the floor, but not a deal breaker! We have stayed at two of the Boscolo 'luxury' 5 star hotels before in other cities and have […] always found them to be impressive, this is one of their 4 star hotels and the difference is noticable however it was exactly what we needed for our short city break. The location is perfect for train travelers. The room was very small with little to no air conditioning in August. Staff speaks good English and are helpful but misinformed us of the free breakfast. Not free. Fine hotel for the price.

Good location, fantastic roof top but hotel management apparently doesn't understand its value, no restaurant service at the roof top, and roof top bar only opened at 7.30pm and closed at 11pm. Normally we were at dinner that time... one day we took a short dinner and planned to spend the evening at the roof top bar, but then it was closed for a private […] party without any notice apart from when you enter the bar, there should at least have been a pre-notice. Hotel corridors smell, they are in desperate need of renovation. Room was ok, but also with old smelly carpet. I can't recommend this hotel until they renovate it, seems they need new management. Could not beat the location - staff were excellent; nice bathroom and quaint courtyard. I was literally a stone's throw from just about everything. We took a bus from the airport to the station and it was a quick walk from there toward the Duomo; great restaurants around. WE enjoyed it very much and, again, the staff was very good.

We had three rooms on a very hot night. Two of the three rooms had no air conditioning and our friends were very uncomfortable. They said they were 100 percent booked and only provided a fan with less power than a blow dryer. The hotel looked "tired" and needed a facelift

Nice room, convenient location for sightseeing, restaurants, shopping etc. This was the only hotel we stayed at that did not include breakfast with our stay. Our room faced the street which was incredibly noisy all night long so we could not sleep with the window open. There are 2 terraces which offer lovely views of Florence. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Florence (just walking distance) The building itself has seen better days. It must've been a very elegant hotel in it's days but currently it is outdated. No working hair dryer in my room, the drains clog easily, the beds are firm a little uncomfortable. They only offer wi-fi in the common area (lobby […] or bar) and it is located within the ZTL (zona traffico limitado) which only affects those who are driving themselves. I liked the area very much. Like everyone else, this hotel does have a great location. It's centered in between the Duomo and the train station. BUT like everyone else...the hotel definitely had old furniture, etc but it was nice in general. We felt it was also slightly haunted for some reason. It definitely gave off some creepy vibes while we stayed there. The shower door (like […] the rest of the European showers) only covers half the bath tub which caused a lot of water to be all over our bathroom floor...we also noticed there was a leak under a certain area too. We told management about the leak. They said the maintenance guy fixed it but we noticed the water puddles the next 2 mornings (which is dangerous if you ask me). The bed was decent unlike all the other beds we slept on while in Italy. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the free wi-fi (although it's only available in the hotel lobby). We had a great stay at this hotel. It was all around the best place (and we stayed in 4 hotels on our trip). Rooms have lots of room. Our opened to a little mid-roof patio. Upper bar is lovely. Breakfast was the best on our trip - great spread of delicious food. It is only a couple blocks from the Duomo and other great sights. You can tell this used to be a beautiful hotel. The fixtures and furniture are very old but the hotel room itself is very clean. The hallways smell musty but the location of the hotel makes up for it. It was very close to everything. We thought it was charming and a great price and would stay there again.

The hotel is perfectly situated in Florence. 5 minute walk from the train station, 5 minute walk to the Duomo. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Lots of great restaurants in the area and everything was in walking distance. My only negative comment would be about the typical European shower. (Don't know why they can't figure them out over […] there) Regardless, I would definitely stay there again. The service was excellent. The view on the 6th floor of the hotel overlooks the Duomo and is priceless. The breakfast is awesome and includes many things....The location is very convenient, walking distance to the train station and just down the street from all the major attractions. I would stay there again for sure!

This hotel stunk of mold from the moment of entry. The room was tiny not the superior room we had booked. The management also stated that they did not provide king size beds and I showed him a copy of the downloaded confirmation which stated that we arranged for a superior room with a king sized bed that they offered. He then gave us a key to another […] room which was a superior size with a king bed. However, they were both on the fifth floor under the leaky roof which no doubt caused the overpowering mold smell. This hotel looked fantastic when you walked into the lobby. When we got to our room the overall impression was that it was very nice, on closer inspection you start to see that the finish is not to a very high standard. The room was air conditioned which was a massive plus in the 33 degree heat. The roof terrace was the most impressive part of the hotel […] and we enjoyed drinks overlooking the beautiful view on a few occasions. We just stayed one night in a discounted rate room. It was small consequently, and the wooden furniture was warn, and old carpeting, but the things that "count" were great: a wonderful, clean bathroom, and a comfortable bed with fine sheets, also good lighting. Lovely view from the rooftop patio and bar. We thought it a good value hotel.
