Albergo posizionato a ridosso della scogliera nella costa occidentale di Tenerife. La vista su Los Gigantes di cui si gode dall'hotel è molto bella e scenografica. Il paese di Puerto Santiago è molto più tranquillo e riservato rispetto a Las Americas, pur non mancando nulla, ma chi cerca negozi, centri commerciali e "lo struscio" serale conviene che vada a Las Americas. Il posizionamento è ideale per escursioni nel nord dell'isola e sul Teide. L'albergo ha un ottimo servizio alla clientela; colazione abbondante (come in tutti i 4 stelle) e cena con buona varietà di scelta. Area piscina bella e attrezzata. Le camere sono ben arredate, ben insonorizzate e con un bel balcone. Le camere più costose sono quelle con vista mare diretta; le altre hanno comunque la vista mare (su un lato, ma con bella vista comunque) ma che possono dare anche sulla strada, su cui proprio di fronte all'hotel si trovano un paio di locali che fanno musica dal vivo (il "route sixty six", molto molto carino); nella settimana dal 2 al 9 di aprile non hanno dato fastidio (a mezzanotte non si sentiva più nulla). La clientela italiana qui è rara perchè si concentra a Las Americas o Costa Adeje che sono sicuramente molto più commerciali, con tante spiagge ampie e una passeggiata molto lunga nel tratto di lungo-mare. A 5 minuti a piedi c'è una piscina naturale fra le rocce ma la graziosa Playa Arena si trova a 5 minuti di auto. In sintesi è l'ideale per chi cerca un un posticino "riparato" a Tenerife.

All'arrivo ci è stata consegnata la camera con 3 ore di ritardo...questo ci ha indisposti parecchio perchè eravamo stravolti per il viaggio. Però dopo che ci hanno consegnato le schede e abbiamo visto la camera eravamo super felici. Noi eravamo in hotel, non negli studio..ci sono due strutture differenti. Per quanto riguarda la struttura dell'hotel è funzionale, la camera è composta da un salotto con divano e tv al plasma ( la tv è a pagamento solo se prendi il telecomando, se no è gratis..puoi girare i canali a mano andando a cliccare sullo schermo), c'è la zona cucina (molto attrezzata), frigo e congelatore, tavolo con le sedie, ampio bagno con tutto, asciugamani verde tiffany..una delizia, la camera da letto matrimoniale è fatta da due materazzi singoli con lenzuola singlole..una vera benedizione per chi ha un ragazzo che di solito mentre dorme ti scopre e si tira le lenzuola verso di se, C'è anche una cassetta di sicurezza (a pagamento), il terrazziono è spaziosissimo utile per mangiare fuori. Davvero un ottima sistemazione. Noi abbiamo preso la formula mezza pensione..(CONSIGLIO A TUTTI)..l'hotel si trova nella zona dei divertimenti ed essendo nata solo per i turisti, i ristoranti sono solo INGLESI e offrono piatti a 8 euro a testa con patatine, carne e insalata e non ne vale la pena perchè in hotel c'è molta più scelta ed è molto più buono. La colazione è super...c'è bacon, uova, salsiccia, toast caldi, panini, brioches, muffin,biscotti,prosciutti( non come i nostri), formaggio, yogurt..insomma tutto. La cena ha sempre carne e pesce (li ho sempre trovatti buonissimi), le immancabili patatine fritta, verdure a volontà, pasta (quella che piace agli inglesi, non la nostra..ma a volte era anche buona..non si può pretendere di mangiare una pasta eccellente all'estero), anelli di cipolla, crocchette, insalata, pomodori, insalata di riso, zuppa di verdure( stra buona), doci a volontà, frutta, gelati, pane...insomma tutto...a parte bisogna pagare da bere!!! Nonostante il tempo incerto, questo hotel ci ha permesso di passare 6 giorni in completo relax. La villa con jacuzzi é favolosa, privacy assoluta e letto comodissimo. Il cibo é stato sempre di qualitá eccelsa sia a colazione, sia a cena (ogni giorno un buffet diverso con decine di piatti sempre ottimi). Lo staff é stato sempre gentilissimo e attento: dopo appena un giorno sanno chi sei, cosa ti piace, davvero bravi. Potrebbe sicuramente offrire un po' di piú per quanto riguarda l'intrattenimento ed altri servizi tipo sala internet. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole riposarsi e non pensare ad altro.

Sol Tenerife si trova sulla spiaggia di Arona (Playa de las Americas), nelle vicinanze dei seguenti luoghi di interesse: Playa de Troya, Playa Torviscas e Spiaggia di Los Cristianos. Ulteriori attrazioni nelle vicinanze di questo hotel: Magma Art and Congress Centre e Parco acquatico di Siam.

Mentre i più giovani amano trascorrere la giornata sulla spiaggia di sabbia nera per riprendersi dai bagordi notturni, le famiglie possono dedicarsi a svariate attività ricreative come lo spettacolo dei delfini presso l'Octopus Aquapark o la visita al Parque las Aguilas (parco delle aquile) per ammirare questi magnifici rapaci librarsi in volo. Da non perdere assolutamente la gita in battello per La Gomera, con partenza dalla vicina Los Cristianos.

"Tenerife Sol - Recommnend it!!"
Me and my best friend, both in our thirties, just arrived from a fantastic ween in Sol Tenerife. We loved it! The staff is extremely helpful ad friendly!! Especially, I have to say, a young lady called Veronica, who was simply wonderful and helpful!! Please ask a room with a pool/sea view. Otherwise you'll be just in front of the main street with the […] bars, which is really noisy. So, if you are a light sleeper maybe this is not the best as long as you have a pool view. The Hotel is 3 minutes walking from the beach and 1 minute walking from the main bars. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around which is great. The pool area is also quite nice even if we prefer the beach. The night attractions were good, some quite funny and nice for kids. Anyway, I would recommend this Hotel for younger people, who wants beach, pool and night life! Finally, wherever you stay, be careful with what you take to the beach since there are some people being stolen (beach bags). All in all, amazing time, definitely would go back!! Continua a leggere
"Sol Tenerife - one of the best on the Island"
FANTASTIC Hotel!!!! we had a 10th floor (block A) room with a brilliant sea view. The hotel has mainly Italian & Spanish guests, and we didn't see many other English guests which was a surprise as the hotel is right next door to Veronicas Strip but we didn't mind as this meant it was a lot quieter than we expected, Friendly staff, clean rooms & communal […] areas. Brilliant swimming pools & lots of sunbeds always available throughout the day, However like all hotels there are signs up everywhere telling you that you're not allowed to save sunbeds and management will remove towels left on unoccupied beds but this never happened so we got up early like everyone else and did the same otherwise you will end up without a parasol. Before we booked this hotel we were nervous after reading other reviews regarding the noise from Veronicas bars, However being a young couple we were not too concerned about this and on check-in asked for a high floor which we got, but this made no difference, it was quite loud, even with the balcony door closed but we didn't have too much trouble getting to sleep after a few bevvies ourselves, however I could imagine if you were staying for longer than 5-7 days it could get a bit irritating. We only did B&B which was fine for us, and the Breakfast was great, huge selection, almost everything you could think of to have for breakfast really. If you go AI, food & drink is available all day, every day with a dedicated AI area. Overall, GREAT hotel, really good quality, BRILLIANT location, after visiting Tenerife several times, definitely one of the best hotel on the Island. good location but very noisy neighbourhood. U CANT SLEEP AT NIGHT! Disco's are in immediate proximity and u can sleep only after 4am.
"Not a 4 star hotel"
This hotels feels like it was built in the 1970s and it is looking a bit worn out by now and could do with a refurb. Having said that it was actually pleasant enough to stay in and the staff were very helpful. The location is excellent for holiday-makers looking for a 'clubbing' or wilder experience as it is in the heart of Playa Las Americas nightlife […] called Veronica's. But if you want a quiet night in then this hotel is not for you as the noise from the local bars (not actually from the Veronica's section) was far too loud and didn't stop until 1.30am, although they do move the entertainment inside they obviously do not have sound proofing of any kind. Good, clean hotel but a little noisy at times from its close location to clubs and bars.

Overall I think this hotel was good value for money. It was clean, the food good and very central to shoppin area. The only quibble that I had was that we did not arrive until 21.00hours therefore just in time for dinner. Dette er et bra hotel rett ved strandpromenaden med et bra avgjerdet og beskyttet basengområde. Fint stand. God usikt og helt ok standard på det materille. Eneste må telle ned for var at vi hadde rom på nordsiden av tårnet og da får man veldig høyt støy/bråk fra 3-4 diskotek ca 50m unna som spilte musikk på åpneterasser til svært langt utpå natt... […] altså helt til kl 530 på morgen enkelte ganger. Måtte derfor ha balkongdøren lukke, noe som gjorde inneklima litt tett på natten. Be om et rom mot SYD! Continua a leggere

Fick ett rum med underbar utsikt!Enda nackdelen var att det kunde användas som dubbelrum så den ena väggen (som var låst och kunde öppnas upp och ledde in till grannen) var en tunnare trädörr så allt som grannarna pratade om hördes.Hög ljudvolym i frukostmatsalen. "Flott opphold i romjulen 2011"
Ankom hotellet første juledags formiddag. Fikk beskjed om dobbeltbooking og spurt om jeg var villig til å bo 2 døgn på annet hotell, noe jeg var.[…] både ved ankomst og til min bursdag 2. januar. Dejligt hotel med super service. Alting fungerede - fleksible tolerante servicemedarbejdere. Dejlig tæt på vandet og utrolig hyggelig atmosfære. Alt i alt meget dejligt !!!
Helt fantastisk dejligt hotel, lidt slidt men pænt og rent. Flot morgen bord. Ligger lige ud til strandpromenaden, skal dog gå 100 meter for at komme til strand. Der er støj om natten fra nærliggende diskoteker. men det ligger meget sentralt.

Hotelet ligger i dejlige omgivelser tæt på havet. Det ligger dog tæt på byen, hvor der er meget gang i den om natten. Ligger i gå afstand til siam park. Personalet på hotelet er finke og hjælpsomme. Dejlig pool område. Fint tilfreds med værelsets faciliteter. Fin service med en flaske champange hvis man holder fødselsdag imens man opholder sig der. Bonne situation de l’hôtel pour ceux qui aiment sortir et faire la fête. Les amoureux des ballades interminables y trouveront aussi leur compte. Quant à l’hôtel lui même, le personnel est fort aimable et parle différentes langues même le français, la nourriture est pour tous les goûts et assez variée (Peut être mettre de la pâte à tartiner au petit […] déjeuner ?), Le jardin est propre et bien entretenu ainsi que les deux piscines qui sont assez spacieuse. La situación del hotel es estupenda, muy accesible tanto a la playa como a los lugares de diversión. Quizás el ruido externo para algunos puede ser incómodo por la noche, no era nuestro caso porque somos de buen dormir. La COMIDA GENIAL, siempre con posibilidad de comer a la plancha y con un personal muy atento y servicial. Estamos seguros de repetir […] si volvemos a Tenerife(cosa que esperamos sea posible). + Klassiskt hotell med bra läge nära vattnet. Solnedgång kan ses många av rummen. - Maten generellt något sämre än på motsvarande hotell i samma område (vi har bott på flera bl.a. grannen H10 Las Palmeras). +Bra och relativt lugn miljö vid måltiderna. Många bord för olika storlekar på sällskapet och bra öppentider så att det inte blev vissa tider […] där det var trångt, vilket är vanligt. - Alla rum med balkong åt väster närmast nattklubbarna är det helt omöjligt att sova utan hörselskydd före 3-4 på natten. - Mycket dyrt internet, brukar vara gratis (om än långsamt) på hotellen runt om. Ingick inte trots all-inclusive, vilket det gör på flera konkurrerande hotell. + Stort plus till det kaffe som serveras i baren vid polen. Brukar vara ganska dåligt på hotell, men detta var bra! "Hotel Sol Tenerife tæt ved stranden"
Pænt men slidt hotel med fornem beliggenhed tæt ved vandet. God udsigt fra værelserne. Hotellet har fin service, pæn rengøring og god morgenmad. Der er en del støj fra nattelivet i nærheden af hotellet, så ørepropper er en god ide. Fitness faciliteter var særdeles dårlige. Internet virker desværre kun i lobby området.

Kylpyhuoneen lattia epäsiisti. Mm. eräästä kohtaa laattojen väli oli märkä, jopa sieltä tuli vettä. WC ei huuhtoutunut ollenkaan normaalisti. Se piti opetella. Aamiainen oli erinomainen. Naapurustosta kuului diskomusa aina aamu-kuuteen saakka, mutta ei se haitannut nukkumista kovin paljoa.

"Sol Tenerife - MEr & piscine"
Très bonne situation et très belle vue depuis le balcon. Malheureusement un peu bruyant même la semaine : dommage car cela gâche le bruit des vagues très agréable pour s'endormir! J'ai par ailleurs peu apprécié la cuisine (mais la cuisine canarienne en général...)
