Camera familiare molto spaziosa con 2 letti matrimoniali. Il bagno non era all'altezza di un hotel 4 stelle. Il percorso per raggiungere la camera era piuttosto lungo e tortuoso (2 ascensori, lunghi corridoi di cui uno con una porta ad apertura comandata dalla chiave elettronica della camera). Very large family room with 2 double beds, The bathroom was not align with a 4 stars hotel. The path to reach the bedroom was rather long (2 lifts, long corridors of which one had a door driven by the bedroom key card).

Questo quartiere, cuore pulsante di Amsterdam, attrae fiumi di visitatori che si riversano dalla Centraal Station a piazza Dam e alla sua magnifica Nieuwe Kerk (XIV secolo). La parte più antica della città, Oude Zijde, è famosa per il quartiere a luci rosse, ma l'università e i moli hanno infuso uno spirito e un colore nuovo a queste vivaci stradine. attenzione agli inganni che ci sono dietro la presentazione dell'hotel in internet. la posizione è ottima, in pieno centro, a pochi minuti dalla stazione centrale quindi qualsiasi luogo è facilmente raggiungibile. i problemi intervenuti sono i seguenti: 1) avevo prenotato una stanza superior quindi non mi aspettavo una doppia "normale". quando ho fatto […] presente ciò alla reception mi è stato risposto che loro non hanno stanze standard e che per loro superior significa standard... 2) all'atto del check in, malgrado avessi pagato il pernottamento al completo in aticipo, mi è stata richiesta la carta di credito e 75 euro di deposito per eventuali spese di minibar. 3) oltre a tale transazione, la notte successiva ho ricevuto un ulteriore addebito di 32,00 euro. alla mia richiesta di delucidazioni mi è stato detto che il computer pensava che avessi fatto colazione in albergo(cosa che nè avevo richiesto, nè avevo fatto). ritengo alquanto inacettabile che non ci sia una persona addetta al controllo delle consumazioni in sala colazioni e che vengano addebbitati costi a caso. 4) il corridoio che portava alla stanza aveva un odore, probabilmente dovuto ad una moquette molto vecchia e sporca, veramente nauseabondo. bisognava passare con il naso tappato 5) in bagno non c'era riscaldemento. l'unico riscaldamento era un piccolo termosifone in camera che ovviamente non riusciva a riscaldare il bagno. alle mie rimostranze mi è stata mandata una piccola stufetta, peccato che in bagno non ci fossero prese quindi, solo unicamente grazie al fatto che noi avevamo una prolunga è stato possibile sistemare la stufetta in bagno collegandola ad una presa della camera. 6) la piscina citata nel sito era poco più che una vasca Jacuzzi e la spa era assolutamete ridicola alla luce di tutto ciò, trovo questo hotel assolutamente non degno delle 4 stelle che porta. "Tutto ottimo"
L'hotel è davanti alla stazione centrale a pochi passi dalla Dam Square che è il centro di Amsterdam. Tutto veramente ottimo, forse un po' eccessivi i prezzi del cibo se si pranza al ristorante.

l'hotel è un classico 4 stelle un po' invecchiato. cortesia, pulizia e tutti i servizi ben tenuti. mobilio e struttura un po' "antichi" ma in ordine. gentilezza e cortesia da parte di tutto il personale. rispetto al prezzo un affare, considerando cosa si ha a milano per la stessa cifra... ottima la colazione a buffet di tipo internazionale e molto varia. […] la brasserie carina come look ma un po' cara per la qualità dei piatti (pochi) proposti. si mangia meglio fuori spendendo uguale o anche meno. wifi libero anche in camera anche se in teoria è dato come accessibile solo dal bar. tutti i maggiori canali tv internazionali disponibili compresi i tre della rai. Its very hard to fault this hotel and I have stayed here before. I also hope to return again. However while it is a good hotel and I don't mind paying for all it offers,I feel that 60 euro for two people to have breakfast in thier room is just too much. My sister and I stayed here in the new Urban Wing for 2 nights and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is opposite the train station so you are right in the middle of the action and close to the main tram station for links all around the city. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The front desk staff and especially the concierge staff were excellent, however the resturant service was very slow and disorganised in the evenings. They had plenty of time to talk, but left us without the bread we ordered with our soup and the rest of the meal was not much better. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location for everything easy access to trams and trains. I had read that the older part of the hotel was a bit dated, however, our room was spotless and not at all dated. "Great location - terrible Room."
The Room was the smallest Hotel Room I ever had to share. My wife and I struggled to move around the room freely as the double bed took up most of the room. It was terrible and we also sustained bruises and knocks whilst trying to move around the bed. We were on the top floor facing Centraal Station.

Good, quick service at check in and from the concierge who recommended a good restaurant in the Old Town and a very good pancake house in Jordaan for a late breakfast. Nice, clean, small rooms. Side facing, so no view this time. Free wifi if you bring your own laptop, otherwise paid via the TV. Mini bar and water fairly expensive. Sauna not working […] during our stay and pool really too small for proper swimming. Overall a decent option opposite the Centraal station and within easy walking distance to the main sites. Perfect location across from amsterdam central station. Upgraded room was small. First room checked in smelled like a poorly kept hospital ward. I was forced to change rooms because of the strong smell which was in the hallway, room and vents. Also there was a tall ladder in the middle of the room which I promptly put in the hallway. This is a very nice hotel located across from Centraal Station. The daily room service (maid service) was not as good as expected. The price of the breakfast was outrageously high-much better to eat in the surrounding area.
"Great hotel but not worth the money"
The Victoria hotel has 2 wings and I felt a bit misguided in my reservation. The Victoria wing is the "original side" of the hotel and this is where I had my first room. The A/C didn't work properly and the room was way too hot. It was a very nice room though but the windows don't open and it was just baking in there! As we asked to change rooms, the […] staff kindly offered to transfer us to the Urban wing which is the renovated part of the hotel. The room was stunning! The design was very nice and although smaller, the room was much nicer with "night lights" (smoother lights to walk around during the night) and a great bathroom. On the plus side, we also had a ironing table and a better hairdryer! However, not sure of the quality of the double glazed windows as the street was really noisy (lots of roadwork just in front of the hotel). The very down side of all is the so called "fitness center". The pool is the smallest pool you can find in a hotel and it is not very warm. Then, you have to pay a ridiculous amount of money to go on the fitness machines and pay for the steam room/sauna as well. For a hotel of this standard, this is just unacceptable. I would recommend the hotel to my lazy friends for sure as it is not far away from everything. Heads up to the concierge that is well informed of the places to go to!! We stayed over for St. Pattys weekend and I was surprised to find the care that was taken in the little things. I have been in Europe for 3 years and have yet to find a hotel with an ice machine and this hotel was very accomodating in having one. The location could not have been better. We were in the center of EVERYTHING ! We hopped off the train and […] were at our hotel within minutes. The concierge seemed to genuinely care about helping us out and not just 'doing their job'. All of the staff were very helpful. The room was exactly as we expected and perfect for our weekend stay. I have already recommended this hotel to others who have already booked their stays and I will be going back to Amsterdam in the next month and intend to stay again ! Thank you for a great hotel ! We just stayed the evening here on our way back from Turkey and the hotel and staff were great. The breakfast buffet is just what we needed before our travels back! Highly recommend it!

"Surpassed Expectations"
I booked this hotel blindly with no knowledge of Amsterdam (first time traveller there) or the location of the hotel. This hotel surpassed all expectations entirely. The concierge was knowledgeable on the happening spot like restaurants/bars and recommended me a good list for saturday night. The hotel's location was perfect. Right across the st from […] Centraal Station and the tram stops, and within walking distance to all attractions. The room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. I had the buffet breakfast on the sunday and it was okay but nothing to write home about. The lobby bar is trendy and a nice spot to have a drink before going out. The only suggestion I was say which would make the room better would be to have an Ipod docking station or similar radio to plug an Mp3 player in as the only music available was on the TV but I couldnt seem to get it to work. recently stayed at the park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam for three nights on a first time visit to Amsterdam. The location is fantastic, literally across the street from the Central Train Station and near EVERYTHING. It appears that the Hotel was several different ones before consolidating into one massive complex but that doesn't impact the great service […] and clean rooms. We arrived and were treated well and the conceirge services were always pleasant willing to offer advice when needed. The room was clean and very well appointed in a modern style and and had a great shower. Didn't eat in at the hotel, who would when you have so many options right outside your door! "Excellent Hotel, excellent location"
I took my mum to Amsterdam for the weekend for her birthday, and so I was keen to get a nice hotel as this was a special treat. I was not disappointed with the Park Plaza. The Hotel was lovely inside, very clean and plush and felt very luxurious! The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was lovely, came with (expensive) mini bar, flat screen […] TV which played music channels aswell, clean bathroom, hairdryer (which was fine) and a safe, which came in very handy. The one and only little negative was our room had a strange aroma, however it was hardly noticeable after a few mins and the window open for a while. The hotel is opposite Centraal Train Station and is right opposite the drop off point for the coaches transporting you from Rotterdam ferry terminal! It's less than 5mins walk to the main area with bars, restaurants etc, but far enough away that you don't hear a thing at night. It's about 15min walk to the museums, but you hardly notice the walk as there is lots to see on the way. Oh and it's roughly 10mins from the Red light district too! I would recommend Sara's Pancake House near Anne Franks house if you are there! Yum! The Brasserie in the hotel looked lovely too, if not a little pricey, but I can't comment on the food as we ate out. Overall the hotel is excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone. "right in the heart of all the buzz"
Location was second to none and the staff were lovely I was there with my sister and we loved sitting in the bar at the end of the night and day of sight seeing. One little thing thought we booked the room over the internet and were disappointed it was so dark and dismal, just one little window and the lighting was very bad. Very satisfied with the rooms,the location. i stayed in one of the urban twin rooms n it was very comfortable.the location was beside the train station and the shopping was good . overall very pleased. if there was one surprising thing it was that i had to pay for the gym and sauner use .

My wife and I stayed in the hotel for her birthday weekend...We arrived at 1am and were directed to our 'superior' room. The room was comfortable if a little pretentious in the urban wing... Could have killed for more light!..placed the do not disturb sign on the door and went to bed...At 2.30am a man entered our room without knocking and absolutely […] terrified us!...he said he was security and apologized. I can only assume he was attempting to let someone in their room and he thought it was ours!?!...anyway this totally ruined our break and neither of us could relax at the hotel.. Totally unacceptable...I spoke to the front desk the day later but I just got a blank look...Trust me, I did not dream the event. Room wast cleaned at all over the three days, nor was the tea/coffee replenished. As it goes the hotel is very central just across the road from the train station....Didn't eat there (If I wanted to pay 30 Euros for a breakfast I would like the dutch beach volleyball team to serve it!). there's a MacDonalds just around the corner, there's also a pasta bar 50 yard down the road that'll do a full English for 4.95.. This place has so much potential, it is just a crying shame that we didn't get to see it.....Amsterdam is such a beautiful city..and deserves better!.... Continua a leggere
"As good as ever"
I've stayed in this hotel several times in recent years and it has always been excellent. From check-in, room quality, leisure facilities to restaurants I've never been disappointed. The staff are always helpful & very efficient.

I was so so amazed by the fact that I had a chance to stay in a place I enjoyed working in about 10 years ego. In fact i was given a great room with the view over the whole centraal station A'dam. When I mentioned that I sued to work there at reception , the staff given me extra attention and it felt very good.;-). "Great location and Great service staff"
This hotel is in a perfect spot. Central railway station a short walk away, and lots of great amenities nearby. Most canal cruises leave from just across the street. Slow check in procedures, but the staff are incredibly helpful. Rooms may be a little "tired", but I would stay here again for the location and staff.

"Stayed at better..."
Hotel entrance and bar seems satisfactory on the whole, although we did paid for a 'saver room' the decor & carpets could do with an update. The room was quite satisfactory considering the money we paid, clean, fresh linen daily & clean bathroom. We found the room mini bar (as with most hotels) quite expensive. Room equipped with TV, Internet, Tea & […] Coffee. We would stay again maybe but, we would shop around the area first in order to see what value for money could bring us. We picked the hotel because of its location to the railway station and near-by restaurants & bars. "Smart hotel in great location"
This hotel is across the square from the train station so no need for taxis when you arrive. Perfect location for canal boats, red light district, shopping and some great restaurants. The hotel is very smart and the room was large with all the usual amenities. On our 1st night we were kept awake by very noisy central heating pipes. We moved to another […] room the folowing night without any problem. The concierge staff were very helpful and gave some great restaurant recommendations. We also had a free drink with the meal.
