ho intrapreso un viaggio negli USA di venti giorni, devo dire che il pavillon hotel e' stato il migliore albergo in cui sia capitata purtroppo per una notte soltanto, la camera era molto pulita dotata di ogni confort addirittura tv a schermo piatto molto grande la colazione era ottima ed abbondante, la posizione dell'hotel e' buona non dista dai ristoranti, anzi. consiglio quest'hotel a tutti anche perche' il prezzo e' ottimo e la piscina e' aperta 24 ore.

On the way to the international airport, we stayed just one night. The position is excellent: very close to Temple Square and to the airport. The room was clean and the hotel silent. Ideal ratio between quality and price!

Arrivare alla struttura se si proviene dalla I-25 è molto semplice, solo pochi isolati dallo svincolo. Su nostra specificarichiesta abbiamo ottenuto una stanza al piano terreno, la 111, molto ben isolata acusticamente e degnamente arredata. Cinque isolati, più o meno una decina di minuti a piedi, e si arriva a Temple Square. Ci sono anche hotel più vicini ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo fa del Metropolitan Inn una scelta azzeccata. Peccato che la colazione venga offerta nella hall, che non eccelle per ampiezza (solo tre tavolini con sgabelli alti) e che non sia il massimo in fatto di scelta. Se arrivate di sabato, non perdetevi il concerto (gratuito) della domenicamattina alle 9.30 al Presbiterio Mormone di Temple Square. Circa 200 coristi e 70 musicisti, oltre ad un'acustica ed effetti-luce straordinari, vi doneranno brividi raramente eguagliabili.

Very nice place, the breakfast was very convenient and tasty. Room was comfortable and quiet.
"No Electricity & Chemical smell"
The cookies are always appreciated. The night cleark John was fabulus. Only hitch was a transformer blew and we had no electricity Friday night. There is a really bad chemical on 2 of the nightswe were there that stung our eyes and made our throat sore. I thinkj it was comming from the airconditioner. The hotel is good in all, clean and well maintained. But the free airport shuttle took us some time. The free airport shuttle is not operated on a regular schedule. The staff will drive the shuttle from the hotel to the airport on demand. On arrival at the airport, we had waited for about 30 minutes for the shuttle.

This was my 2nd time to stay there and will go back when I should find myself in SLC again. Staff was helpful, room was quiet and comfortable and even the Van Driver that picked my wife and I up was great. May not be the Ritz, but was very very good.

Chose this hotel for proximity to airport and free airport shuttle. It's about an 8-minute ride. Poor selection of restaurants locally is only complaint. Other than that good utilitarian stayover.
Great room and facility for the price. Close to the airport. Clean room and very friendly staff. TV didn't work but I wasn't ready to return to the real world anyway. Don't get the room on the corner by the ice machine!!!

"OK, but better choices available"
This Fairfield was OK, but not good enough to justify the higher cost compared with other nearby hotels. The staff was very good. The breakfast was great as long as you were satisfied with carbs, or carbs coated with sugar, or microwaved plastic wrapped egg products. In other words, by current standards for this class of hotel, the breakfast was pretty […] poor. There is a Perkins attached, but the menu there is pretty limited. I've stayed here in the past a few years ago and I was worried it would be run down. It was not run down. I would use this hotel again.

"Best staff ever"
We recently stayed at this hotel on our way back from Yellowstone. The staff were amazing! Best hotel staff I have ever enountered. Helpful, welcoming, just outstanding. This is a convenient location - close to the airport. Probably only downside is there are very few restaurant choices in the area.

After a long drive from Yellowstone, we arrived at the Fairfield Inn near the Salt Lake City airport for an overnight stay before our flight home. The hotel had a nice relaxing atmosphere which was much needed after a long drive. There was a Perkins restaurant located on premise which was great because we were hungry for dinner and just could not bear […] to be in the car for any longer. We were also able to quickly print our boarding passes from the business lounge. Breakfast was included with your stay at the Fairfield Inn- there was a wide variety of breakfast options to choose from which satisfied the pickiest eaters in our group. The hotel was conveniently located by the airport but also Walmart and gas stations were nearby which made it easy to fill up the rental car before our scheduled dropoff time. Das Faifield Inn liegt in der Nähe des Flughafens an einem Interstate (es gibt aber zum Glück keinen Fluglärm). Salt Lake City ist über den Interstate leicht zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel, ein kontinentales Frühstück ist im Preis imbegriffen. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen, außer dass ich den Eindruck hatte, dass die Kopfpolster nicht frisch […] überzogen waren, obwohl der Rest des Bettes sehr wohl frisch bezogen war und auch ansonsten alles sauber war.
